Seven years had passed since Mari and Marc where born and all my babies were full grown and gorgeous! Turns out since they are only hybrids from my gift, they only get their own once they reach 7 years and look 18. This may alter their looks a bit as well.
Lils has Air + Lightning
Trix has Fire + Earth
Gio has Water + Shadows
Alex has a gift over Life which changed her hair from a brown to a ginger
Anna has a gift over death which changed her brown hair to a deep black
Cassie has Flight
Cal has Intangibility
Marco has Shapeshifting
And
Maria has Plants
It was on their birthdays they also found their mates! Lils is mated to Alec, Trix and Felix, Gio and Jane, Alex and Demetri, Anna and Santiago, Cassie and Afton, Cal and Heidi, Marco and Chelsea and Maria and Gabriel.
I could tell none of my mates liked the fact the kids where growing up and getting mates and might come to me asking for children soon but I make it clear that I support them and they cannot do anything to them.
What! They may be my mates but mama bear still needs to show them not to mess with her cubs.
