EMMAS POV:
April 5th
I woke up with the sun shining down in my hotel room as I slowly get up and waddle to the bathroom getting in the shower
I wash my hair, shave and got out walking to the wardrobe with my suitcases in it
I was too tired to put my clothes away so I just left them on the floor
I was able to dig out this cute outfit making my curves look amazing in but my baby bump is quite big to say I'm only 3 months I might have a really chubby baby?
I'm not bothered I'll love it either way
this is what I'm wearing:
I walk out and went back into the bathroom to blow dry my hair and I put concealer under my eyes and a bit of mascara on
I walk out of my room and walk to aces room and knocked on the door and he answered strait away
he comes out his room and we walk down to the hotel lobby
me and ace have gotten close, ever since I had that heart attack it's like he's always keeping an eye on me, protecting me
we both walk in a meeting room with loads of important people including all my brothers and Dominic.
everyone's eyes trailed my face to see if I'm going to explode because Dominic is here, as I sit down ace sits down next to me
he looks pissed, but this meeting is to important to make a scene, hollys eyes burning holes in Dominics head
I was calm, my breathing is even and I focus on the meeting instead of the man starting at me with such lust in his eyes
"miss D'Angelo" one of the important men said
making me turn my head to him "yes"
"we understand you killed Daniel Stephenson?"
"yes" I kept my answers short
these men are the mafias ancestors they know everything about everyone even the fact I am the shadow, they know every assassins real name
"good how?" he asks and I look at him dead in the eyes "I gutted him from the inside out" I say strait up making him smirk
my face hasn't moved still lips straight and face relaxed, I could kill every single person in here if I wanted to and they all know it
"well don't you just look and act exactly like your mother" a different older man says making my eyebrow twitch
" I've been told, personally I don't see it" I say looking at him "your mother was some women, brave, strong, and she never let anyone know her next move" he adds on
"Emma is the mini version of our mother, don't want to get on the bad side of her" ace says
I just sit there still trying to avoid the gaze of Dominic "and I see your expecting? congratulations" another one of the old men said
I thank him "boy or girl?" he asks "I don't know yet I'm finding out when I go home" I say making Dominic move around uncomfortable
Dominic then changes the conversation to why we are here
"you see we observe the next generation of the mafia to see if your willing or not, safe to say you all are, especially you Emma"
the main old man says
"why especially me?" I ask curious
"you have a lot of potential to make this mafia better, and I know for a fact if that baby is anything like it's mother or father than it will settle into the mafia" he says making me put my hand on my belly
"you and Dominic are already amazing parents to Ellis I have no doubt you both will disappoint me with this upcoming baby" he said making me and Dominic look at each other
I stay quiet not knowing what to say. the men wrote something down and looked at us all
"you all can go now, this meeting is over. thank you for your time"
and within that I stand up and leave without saying anything. God i hate how much them men know
I was walking until someone grabbed my wrist pulling me into a empty room. "what do you want" I say already knowing who grabbed me
"I want you" he says and I look at him "you had me." I spat back and he relaxes his eyes at me
"Emma like it or not your mine, and always will be. your carrying my child, we already have a child and you have my marking" He says making a point
"do you believe me when I said I didn't kiss her" he whispers walking closer to me making my back hit the wall
"yes" I breathe out and we stare in each others eyes "then what's the problem, talk to me" after he said that something inside of me snapped
I laugh in disbelief "what's the problem?! The problem is, ever chance you get you leave.
you never talk to me about your problems. if someone threatens you, you tell me and we can sort it out together instead of thinking for the both of us." I ramble out god iv been holding that in since he left
he was about to say something until I interrupted him "and don't even get me started on the fact you left me, Ellis, your family without a trace but a note saying your leaving"
"and the worst thing is... I wasn't even mad at you. I love you that much I didn't even care you left I just wanted you back. I never stopped missing you"
he stood there speechless "I'm sorry Emma" he says with hurt in his voice making me look up at him to see a tear run down his face
making me completely soft as I wipe it with my finger putting my hand on his face as we stare in each others eyes
he then comes crashing down putting his head on my shoulder and his arms around me hugging me "god I've missed you so much" he whispers
he lifts his head up "I promise on our baby's I will always ask your permission to leave before I do" he says and I chuckled
"good" I say and his lips crash down to mine making me weak in the knees
god this man could kill me and I wouldn't care as long as he's happy
"why?" I ask "why what?" he asks back
"why don't you tell me when your in danger" I say and he froze
"when I first met you I was afraid to like you, and when I liked you I was afraid of loving you.
now that I love you I'm afraid of loosing you.
so the idea of putting you in danger makes me feel physically sick" he says
"but I will start to tell you everything, if you give me one last chance?" he says and I move my hand to my belly feeling the baby kicking
he puts his hand on my belly and felt the kicking making him smile "okay" I say and he smiles even more
we leave the room and everyone is outside talking
they all see me and Dominic and they all tense up ready to make a scene
but before they opened there mouth I explained everything and they all shock there heads and welcomed Dominic back shaking his hand
"tomorrow we are leaving, you coming with us Dominic?" ace asks and I look at Dominic waiting for his answer
"what about Anna and Leah?" He asks and I smirk "there in my basement half dead" I say and he looks at me shocked "dad found them snooping in my office" ace says and Dominic nods understanding
"of course I'm coming home" Dominic says putting his hand on my belly making me smile
"Emma have you told Dominic about what happened?" kacey asks and Dominic looks at me
confused "no why what's happened?" He asks
"oh nothing important only Emma dying then coming back to life" Nathan says with his big mouth making me give him a death stare
"you what?!" "it's not as bad as you think, I barely felt owt" I say trying to smooth it out but it didn't work
We all went out for dinner and got back to the hotel late, Dominic went up to his room and packed his stuff and I went to my room and got changed and got into bed
I heard someone at the door come in I knew it was Dominic I could smell him from here
he placed his suitcase next to mine and got into bed with me
he put his arm around my waist holding my baby bump and I cuddle up to him closer and closing my eyes drifting of yours sleep
that was the best sleep I've got in a long time
except of the fact I woke up a good three times to have a wee but I'm happy when I wake up to the warmth of Dominic next to me asleep
I look at the alarm clock to see it's 10:30am
"shit" I whisper to myself I shake Dominic awake
"whattt?" he mutters half asleep
"it's half ten the plane is at 11 come on" I say getting up and Dominic sit up opening his eyes
I go get changed into some black leggings and a vest top
I walk out and Dominic eyes me up "hello to you to sexy" he says in his deep sleepy voice making me laugh at him
"shut up and get ready" I say blushing and he gets up and kisses me before going to get dressed in his usual black suit
I brush my hair and put it in a messy high pony tail and putting the brush back in my suitcase
I double check I've packed everything and we leave, going to the hotel lobby to see everyone there waiting for us
we hand are keys over and get in the car to the airport, "my first baby scan is tomorrow, you wanna come with me?" I ask Dominic and he smiles at me "of course"
we get to the airport and got on the plane
Dominic on my hip the entire plane ride
"oh I forgot to tell you the doctor is going to write the baby's gender down and we are going to give it to kacey and holly so they can throw a gender reveal" I say and he puts his hand on my belly
"okay anything for mia ragazza"
we got off the plane and got home with Ella and Ellis waiting for me and dom, I think holly told her mum he's back
we got out the car and Ella hands me Ellis and hugs Dominic tightly as I say hi to ellis "you ever just leave like that and I'm killing you" Ella says and dom looks a bit scared
Ella gets off him and I hand him Ellis and the happiness in his eyes made me smile to myself
"ciao piccola mi sei mancato è papà" dom says to Ellis and Ellis starts laughing at him
"come one let's go inside" I say and we all went inside the house and sat down, we talked for a bit but Ella had to go so we said our goodbyes and she left
"ahhh Dominic your back" Linda says with a smile on her face "we all missed you" she adds
after a while we go upstairs and went to our room
I was sorting some emails out while Dominic plays with Ellis on the bed
we watched movies and chilled all day with Ellis
I put him down to sleep and went to my room and got in shower, after 20 minutes I got out
got changed and got into bed with dom and fell asleep in his arms again.
god I hate how much I love him
