I try but it all goes in vein,
I smile so no one sees my pain.
I shout out when no one is out.
I try to make myself fearless when i m in the crowd.
I am tired of listening the whispers behind
I try to act deaf, close my eyes and act kind.
But someone is shattered and that's my heart and mind.

Gloomy night, when i see the shimmering stars,
Its attractive since it hides my scars.

I may look fine when i am not.
I may think of an ending but still smile and that's why i say , i m good at pretending.

One day sitting off the shore, i smiled at my fate thinking, 'how many miseries more'?.

Lemme cry in the showers of rain, so i can show i m brave , not insane.
But only my paper knows my pain
The stars seem to be beautiful from only far.
Thinking my life is the same ,i get up waiting for the grey rain.

People take my feeling lighter than a feather,
I just smile and slide my hands in the cream sweater,
Thinking in the cruel world i was born , it would someday treat me better.
No matter how much i smile i still wish i were a 'Heather'
