Mixed Emotions
Would you still call it normal
if feelings are already mixing?
Like, everyday feelings are always mixed
and I couldn’t figure out why.
Right now, as I write this poem
I feel like I’m not the one writing.
It’s weird and here I am confused.
Should I still continue this or just stop?
Sometimes, feelings can’t be explained
because it’s hard or I was just afraid?
Is it worth it telling what I feel right now?
Feelings that I can’t fully understand.
I don’t know what exactly to feel.
Be happy and excited? In what?
I feel both distraught and despair
yet I desperately want to end this.
