Tattooine- Anakin :

Freya could feel the importance of this planet when they landed on Tattooine. She worried for Padme, but also for what she sensed was coming.
Padme, Captain Panaka, and Freya ran towards Qui-Gon. The girls were both dressed in peasants clothing, the girls both standing quite a bit shorter than Qui-Gon.
"Wait!" Panaka called out. Qui-Gon stopped and Looked back at them.
"Her Highness commands you to take her handmaidens with you. She wishes for her to observe the local..." he was out of breath as he said his explanation but Qui-Gon had had enough of the queen's demands.
"No more commands from Her Highness today, Captain. This spaceport
is not going to be pleasant..." Qui-Gon said harshly and Freya scoffed under her breath.
"The Queen wishes it. She is curious about this planet." Panaka insisted. Padme looked at Freya who nodded at her.
"I've been trained in defense... I can take care of myself. So has Freya." She said. Captain Panaka sighed and pleaded, "Don't make me go back and tell her you refuse."
Qui-Gon looked between them frustrated and said, "I don't have time to argue. But this is not a good idea. Stay
close to me."
He gave them both a stern look which caused them to scoff and follow him.
They approach the town while the girls looked around in awe. They'd never seen such a place, but Freya noticed Padme's sweat. She could tell this heat bothered her.
"...moisture farms for the most part, but also a few indigenous
tribes and scavengers. The few spaceports like this one are havens for
those who do not wish to be found..." Qui-Gon had been explaining the planet to them, but Freya had all but ignored him.
"....like us." Padme finished for him. Freya glanced at Jar Jar who seemed to be in constant panic with each step.
R2 buzzed along with them, his beeping causing Freya to giggle at him.
"Dissen berry berry bad." Jar Jar said before he stepped in some sort of goo.
"Ooooh...icky...icky...goo." He said. Freya chuckled and shook her head.
They arrive to a plaza of junk dealers. The choices were overwhelming but Qui-Gon said, "We'll try one of the smaller dealers."
They headed for a little junk shop that had a huge pile of broken spaceships
stacked up behind it. Padme and Freya followed behind group as they entered the building.
They were suddenly greeted by a flying alien with wings. He was a deep blue color.
"Hi chuba da naga?" He asked in a foreign language, one which Freya didn't understand. (What do you want?)
"I need parts for a J-type 327 Nubian." Qui-Gon said. The man nodded and replied, "Ah yes, ah yes. Nubian. We have lots of that. What kinda junk?"
He started spouting off more in his language when Qui-Gon told him, "My droid here has a readout of what I need."
A small boy, looked to be about three years younger than Freya bounded into the room. The alien raised a hand to him making him flinch. Freya stepped forward only to be stopped by Padme.
Freya tuned their conversation out by staring at the younger boy. She saw his blue eyes and felt like she could see herself through them.
"Soooo, let me take- a thee out back. Ni you'll find what you need." The Aline told Qui-Gon making R2 follow him. Jar Jar stayed behind with Freya and Padme, and the boy.
Jar Jar picked up a gizmo, trying to figure
out its purpose. Qui-Gon took the part out of his hand and put it back.
"Don't touch anything." He ordered. Jar Jar glared at Qui-Gon And stuck out his tongue.
The boy sat on the counter, pretending to clean a part, while staring at the girls.
The one with the white hair was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen in his life. Freya caught onto his stare and she gave him an amused smile.
"Are you an angel?" He asked Freya. She glanced at him.
"What?" She asked. He continued his question.
"An angel. I've heard the deep space pilots talk about them. They
live on the Moons of Iego I thimk. They are the most beautiful creatures in
the universe. They are good and kind, and so pretty they make even the most
hardened spice pirate cry." He explained. Freya blushed and looked at Padme awkwardly.
"I've never heard of
angels." Freya told him.
"You must be one...maybe you just don't know it." Anakin said. Freya blushed again and walked closer to him.
"You're a funny little boy. How do you know so much?" She asked. Padme walked away to allow them time to communicate while watching over Jar Jar.
"Since I was very little, three, I think. My Mom and I were sold to
Gardulla the Hutt, but she lost us, betting on the Podraces, to Watto,
who's a lot better master than Gardulla, I think." She thought of what he said and then realized, "You're...a slave?"
Freya turned to look at Padme who looked disturbed. She knew how she felt of slavery, and to be so young, Freya felt pity for the boy.
"I am a person! My name is Anakin." He defended. Freya sighed sadly, not meaning to offend him.
"I'm sorry. I was once a slave as well." Freya felt Padme place her hand on her shoulder while she looked around, "This is a strange world to me."
Anakin stared at her with and odd look and smiled, "You are a strange girl to me."
Jar Jar had hit the top of a droid causing it stand up and move. He started panicking when Anakin yelled, "Hit the nose!"
Jar Jar hit the nose and they all laughed while Anakin turned to watch Freya run her hands through her long hair.
She was so beautiful to him. He was sure he'd never seen anyone as beautiful as her again.
Freya and Anakin had been lost in conversation, oblivious to Padme's failed attempts to contain Jar Jar.
"...wouldn't have lasted long if I weren't so good at fixing
things. I'm making my own droid..." he was telling Freya when Qui-Gon hurried into the shop seemingly angry.
"We're leaving." He said harshly. Freya sighed sadly and gave Anakin a loving look.
"I'm glad I met you, Anakin." She said. He added his last name, "Anakin Skywalker."
Freya held her hand out to him and said her full name as well, along with Padme's, "Freya Naberrie and this is my sister Padme Naberrie."
He watched them leave sadly. He was hoping she'd stay around for a while, and said after her, "I'm glad I met you too."
Freya smiled to herself and Padme noticed, making her blush.
The group moved into the market street, while Jar Jar followed behind them.
They walked by an outdoor cafe filled with a rough
gang of aliens, one of which was a spider looking alien. Jar Jar stopped for a moment in front of a stall selling dead frogs
hanging on a wire. He looked around to see if anyone was looking and stuck his tongue to the frog only to see that it was attached to a wire alerting the vendor.
"Hey, that will be seven truguts!!" He yelled. Jar Jar looked surprised and opened his mouth, letting the frog snap away. It snapped the line and landed in the spider looking creatures soup, splashing him. He got angry and grabbed Jar Jar while Freya looked at the scene in horror.

He shoved jar jar to the ground, while he
desperately tried to scramble to safety.
"Why mesa always da one??" He asked himself.
"Because you're afraid." Anakin said to him and walked over to the creature.
"Chess ko, Sebulba...Coo wolpa tooney rana. (Careful,
Sebulba...This one's very connected.)"
Sebulba stopped his assault on Jar Jar and turns to Anakin.
"Tooney rana nu pratta dunko, shag. (Connected?? Whada
you mean, slave?)" he asked. Anakin stood up to him in a very self assured way. Freya watched in awe at the boy and realized the connection she felt between the two of them.
"Oh da Hutt...cha porko ootman geesa...me teesa rodda
co pana pee choppa chawa. (As in Hutt...big time outlander, this one... I'd
hate to see you diced before we race again.)" Anakin said harshly. The creature looked very offended and replied, "Neek me chowa, wermo, mo killee ma klounkee(Next time
we race, wermo, it will be the end of you!) Una noto wo shag, me wompity du
pom pom. (If you weren't a slave, I'd squash you right now.)" he turned away from Anakin and Anakin called after him, "Eh, chee bana do mullee ra. (Yeah, it'd be a pity if
you had to pay for me.)"

Qui-Gon, Padme, and R2 arrived behind Freya who had stayed and watched the scene. She'd been too frightened to say anything.
"Hi! Your buddy here was about to be turned into orange
goo. He picked a fight with a Dug. An especially dangerous Dug called
Sebulba." Anakin explained to them but not without staring at Freya.
"Nosir, nosir. Mesa hate crunchen. Dat's da last ting mesa wanten." Jar Jar said in a hurry.
"Nevertheless, the boy is right...you were heading for trouble.
Thank you, my young friend." Qui-Gon told him. Anakin looked back at Freya who gave him a big smile. He smiled back and walked beside her down the crowded street.
"Mesa doen nutten!" Jar Jar said. Freya sighed and walked closer to Qui-Gon.
"Fear attracts the fearful. He was trying to overcome his fear by
squashing you...be less afraid." Anakin explained. Freya looked at him and said, "And that works for you."
"To a point." He replied while grinning. Freya chuckled and caught up to Padme who held her hand. They were so close, and Anakin wished he could hold her hand.

They stop at a fruit stand on their way out of of town. Anakin seemed to know the woman and asked, "How are you feeling today, Jira?"
She smiled warmly at the boy, "The heat's never been kind to me, you know, Annie!"
"Guess what? I've found that cooling unit I've been searching for.
It's pretty beat up, but I'll have it fixed up for you in no time, I
promise." He said to her. She smiled at him and nodded.
"You're a fine boy, Annie." She praised him. He blushed and asked, "I'll take four pallies today."
"You'll like these..." He said to Freya. She smiled happily at him.
Anakin reached in his pocket and comes up with three coins. He dropped one.
Qui-Gon picked it up, revealing his lightsaber.
"Whoops, I thought I had more...Make thgat three, I'm not
hungry." Anakin told her. The woman handed them the fruit and noticed the wind was picking up.
"Gracious, my bones are aching...storm's coming on, Annie. You'd
better get home quick." She told Anakin. He turned to Qui-Gon and asked, "Do you have shelter?"
Qui-Gon sighed and said, "We'll hed back to our ship."
Anakin knew they'd never make it in time and asked, "Is it far?"
Padme answered for him, "On the outskirts."
"You'll never reach the outskirts in time...sandstorms are very,
very dangerous. Come with me. Hurry!" Anakin led them away down the windy street towards his home. He was excited to show Freya the droid he'd been working on.
When they entered inside, the group stayed at the door while Anakin walked further inside.
"Mom! Mom! I'm home." Anakin called out. Freya looked around and smiled. He at least had a warm loving home.
"Dissen cozy." Jar Jar said aloud. Freya nodded in agreement.
Anakin's mother came into the front and looked stunned to see so many, "Oh, my!! Annie, what's this?"
"These are my friends, Mom. This is Freya, Padme, and...gee, I don't know
any of your names." Anakin said embarrassed.
"I'm Qui-Gon Jinn, and this is Jar Jar Binks." Qui-Gon explained. R2 let out a
little beep making Freya giggle.
"...and our droid, Artoo-Detoo." Qui-Gon said.
"I'm building a droid. You wanna see?" He asked Freya. She glanced at his mother who gave him a stern look, "Anakin! Why are they here?"
"A sandstorm, Mom. Listen." Anakin said and she listened to the wind howling outside.
"Your son was kind enough to offer us shelter." The older Jedi explained to her. Anakin grabbed Freya's hand and led her to his room.
"Come on! Let me show you Threepio!" He said excitedly. R2 followed her, keeping an eye on her.
His droid was incredible, especially for a young boy to have built it.
"Isn't he great?! He's not finished yet." Anakin asked. He led her closer to the droid.
"He's wonderful!" Freya exclaimed. Anakin felt his chest rise with pride.
"You really like him? He's a protocol droid...to help Mom. Watch!" He pressed a button, making the droid come to life.
He placed an eye onto the droid.
"How do you do, I am See-Threepio, Human Cyborg Relations. How
might I serve you?" The droid asked. Freya looked at the droid in amazement.
"He's perfect." She told Anakin.
"When the storm is over, you can see my racer. I'm building a
Podracer!" He said to her excited. She was the first girl he'd ever really seen that interested him, and her beauty could not be outmatched.

They were all seated around the makeshift table, while Anakin sat between Freya and his mother.
Jar Jar had been sitting next to Freya who gave him a disgusted look at his poor etiquette.
He was slurping his soup rather loudly. Everyone looks at him. He turns a
little brighter red.
"All slaves have transmitters placed inside their bodies somewhere." Anakin's mother told them. Freya looked at Padme and back to Anakin.
"I've been working on a scanner to try and locate them, but no luck." He said sadly.
"Any attempt to escape..." She started and Anakin finished for her,
"...and they blow you up...poof!"
Freya looked down and sighed. She didn't even remember that she had a transmitter in her body. Anakin placed his hand on hers making her half smile to him.
"How wude." Jar Jar said. Padme looked disgusted. She was glad that she had freed Freya all those years ago.
"I can't believe there is still slavery in the galaxy. The
Republic's anti-slavery laws..." she started but Anakin's mother interrupted her,
"The Republic doesn't exist out here...we must survive on our own."
An awkward silence entered the room and Anakin attempted to end the embarrassment by talking to Freya.
"Have you ever seen a Podrace?" He asked. She shook her head no. Jar Jar stuck out his tongue and tried to snatch food from the end of the table but Freya hit his tongue and gave him a dirty look, "Manners." She told him. He blushed and looked down.
"They have Podracing on Malastare. Very fast, very dangerous." Qui-Gon told Anakin. He nodded and looked at Qui-Gon, "I'm the only human who can do it."
Shmi looked at her son and he shrugged, "Mom, what? I'm not bragging. It's true. Watto says he's never heard of a human doing it."
Qui-Gon could feel the force within the boy as well as Freya. He'd noticed it from the moment he'd come into her presence.
"You must have Jedi reflexes if you race Pods." He said. Anakin smiled and looked at Freya.
Jar Jar attempted to snare another bit of food from the bowl
with his tongue, but Freya grabbed it between her thumb and
Index finger.

"What did I say before? Don't do that again." She told him. Jar Jar started to mumble and she let go of his tongue.
Padme couldn't help but find it amusing. Freya was so laid back and calm, but when it came to table manners, she was very harsh.
"I...I was wondering...something.." Anakin said.
"What?" Qui-Gon asked.
"Well, ahhh...you're a Jedi Knight, aren't you?" Anakin asked. Freya looked at Padme with wide eyes and she shrugged.
"What makes you think that?" Qui-Gon asked. Anakin gave him a look like 'seriously'?
"I saw your laser sword. Only Jedi carry that kind of weapon." He said in a matter of fact way.

Qui-Gon leaned back and slowly smiled. He glanced at Freya who hadn't turned away from Anakin.
"Perhaps I killed a Jedi and stole it from him." He said and Anakin shook his head.
"I don't think so... No one can kill a Jedi Knight." Anakin said. Freya sighed sadly and realized he was only still a boy.
"I wish that were so..." Qui-Gon said sadly.
"I had a dream I was a Jedi. I came back here and freed all the
slaves...have you come to free us?" Anakin asked. Freya gripped the table and felt her lip quiver. Qui-Gon noticed her discomfort and sighed.
"No, I'm afraid not..." He answered.
"I think you have...why else would you be here?" Anakin asked. Qui-Gon could tell the boy was extremely smart.
"I can see there's no fooling you..."
Qui-Gon said and leaned forward, "You mustn't let anyone know about us...we're on our way to Coruscant, the central
system in the Republic, on a very important mission, and it must be kept
secret." Anakin looked stunned and then realized that maybe Freya hadn't been an angel, but she really did look like one.
"Coruscant...wow...how did you end up here in the outer rim?" He asked. Freya answered for him, "Our ship was damaged, and we're stranded here until we can repair it."
Anakin's enthusiasm showed in his words as he said, "I can help! I can fix anything!"
Qui-Gon nodded and assured him,
"I believe you can, but our first job is to aquire the parts we
need..."
"Wit no-nutten mula to trade." Jar Jar added. Padme thought for a moment and said, "These junk dealers must have a weakness of some kind."
"Gambling. Everything here revolves around betting on those awful
races." Shmi told them. Qui-Gon sighed and shook his head.
"Podracing... Greed can be a powerful ally.. if it's used properly." Anakin jumped up.
"I've built a racer! It's the fastest ever...There's a big race
tomorrow, on Boonta Eve. You could enter my pod. It's all but finished..." Anakin told them. Shmi noticed how Anakin and the young girl next to him looked at each other.
"Anakin, settle down. Watto won't let you..." Shmi said in an attempt to calm her son down.
"Watto doesn't know I've built it."
Anakin said to her and then looked to Qui-Gon, "You could make him
think it's your's, and you could get him to let me pilot it for you."
Freya noticed that his mother was upset and she said sadly, "I don't want you to race, Annie...It's awful. I die every time Watto makes you do it."
Anakin whined and begged his mother.
"But Mom, I love it...and they need help...they're in trouble. The
prize money would more than pay for the parts they need." Anakin said to her. Jar Jar added at a very bad time, "Wesa ina
pitty bad goo."
Freya slapped his arm and he gave her a bad look to which she returned.
"Your mother's right. Is there anyone friendly to the Republic who
might be able to help us?" Qui-Gon asked Shmi. She shook her head no.
"We have to help them, Mom...you said that the biggest problem in
the universe is no one helps each other..." Anakin pleaded.
"Anakin, don't..." Shmi sighed.
Jar Jar burped and Freya gave him a very dirty look. There was a silence for a moment as they are and Freya rubbed her forehead while Padme chuckled.

"I'm sure Qui-Gon doesn't want to put your son in danger. We will
find another way..." Padme assured Shmi who disagreed.
"No, Annie's right, there is no other way... I may not like it, but
he can help you...he was meant to help you." Shmi stated and turned away. Anakin yelled out, "Is that a yes? That is a yes!"

While the storm raged outside, Anakin and Freya sat on a bench inside. He was showing her his things and she grabbed a hair pin from her hair. It contained a small little ruby. She handed it to Anakin.
"For good luck tomorrow." She said shyly and handed him the pin.
He took it and looked at her hand.
"I-I feel a connection to you." He said and she nodded and grabbed his hand.
"I feel the same." She replied. His hand touched her long hair. He had never seen white hair. It was very beautiful.
"Your hair is so different." Anakin's fingers laced on one of the curls.
"It is, isn't it?" She joked.
"It's beautiful." He made her blush.
"How..how old are you?" He asked. She chuckled.
"Thirteen." She said. His eyes widened and he looked down embarrassed.
"You don't have to be embarrassed. I find you handsome." She assured. She was only trying to make him feel better, but he was a very cute little boy.
"I'm glad." He said happily.
