Hidden Puzzle
They call me enigmatic.
Maybe I really am but I’m not, right?
It’s just that there’s something in me,
a hidden puzzle maybe?
Puzzle pieces that are always there
and needs to be gathered together
so I can understand myself
and maybe they’ll understand me too.
But, is completing this puzzle
will change their perspective about me?
Whether it is or not, I’m glad
that finally I found my missing piece.
This missing piece is the whole puzzle.
The puzzle is me, the real ones.
The real me whom they misunderstood
for I, myself, didn’t recognize it either.
I thought at first that it wasn’t me
for I have doubts and fears.
Now that I’m accepting the true me,
they’re slowly understanding me.
