Our heroes were now at a lake called Lake May
Lake may
Jacob was able to catch these two pokemon there
Volbeat: male
Illumise: female
May: That is such a pretty lake.
Jacob: indeed.
Max: You're right!
Brock: It looks like a great spot for a break, what do you say guys?
Jacob: I agree.
Everyone decided to take a break while jaraja was checking out what the name of this lake was
Jaraja:(checking out the map) Apparently this is called lake may.
May: Well then, that explains why it's so beautiful! With a beautiful name like May.
Max: I dunno... I guess I don't see the connection here.
May: (annoyed and irritated) Who asked you?
Jacob: your way prettier may.
May:(blushing)oh you shouldn't say that,Now why don't we see what's going on.
Jacob: Look over there.
They see Illumise with a yellow bow on her neck, who displays her grace by gently touching the water in a pose, rippling the surface
Jacob: It's an Illumise.
Just then a volbeat appeared wearing a red bow flying across the lake. The volbeat flew up to Illumise and the two pokemon began to dance in the air.
Jacob: Ahh those two, classic pokemon love couples.
May: they're so cute!
Max: (giggled) Looks like they're having fun!
Nurse joy: hello there?
They see nurse joy
Nurse Joy: You're all here to see the May Festival, right?
Brock: (lovestruck) WE ARE... YES!
Jacob: What's the May festival?
Nurse Joy: It's a wonderful festival where you'll get to see Illumise and Volbeat performing their dances!
Jacob: Oh that sounds nice.
May: That sounds awesome!
Nurse Joy: Well it's almost time for them to begin practicing. (points) Just over there.
They see these two people on a wooden dock
Romeo
Juliet
Jacob: Who are those two?
Nurse Joy: Those two are Illumise and Volbeat's trainers. He's Romeo and she's Juliet!
They see Juliet looking elegant
Brock: (very lovestruck) AAAHHH!! JULIET! But soft! What light through the yonder window breaks? Juliet's the sun! (goes for her)
Nurse Jo: Ahhh! You mustn't bother them!
Jacob then pulls him back
Jacob: (grabbing him by his shirt collar)get ahold of yourself man!
Juliet: I'm Juliet! I pledge to make this May Festival a smashing success!
Audience: (claps cheers)
Man: Alright! Go for it!
Man #2: Good luck, yeah!
Brock: (lovestruck) With your smashing good looks Juliet you're already a success!
Jacob: down brock down!
Nurse Joy: So legend has it that anyone in love who happens to watch Illumise and Volbeat dancing together, is soon to be blessed with super-good luck!
Brock: (lovestruck) I'm in love!
Jacob: this isn't about you brock! Though I think we might be getting some luck today ladies.
Back with Romeo and Juliet
Juliet: Right then Illumise, time to practice dear!
Illumise nodded as Juliet pulled out a baton and began to spin it
Juliet: (spins a baton) Let's start things off with Sweet Scent!
Illumise used sweet scent
Juliet: Oh, Romeo! Be a love and release more Volbeat.
Romeo: (reaches his pockets) Right! (but he drops his bag with Pokeballs) Oh!
Juliet: Oh dear! Dropped them again?
Romeo: Sorry... I'll tidy up...(picks up his Pokeballs)
Brock: How did that loser get partnered with Juliet?! (frustrated) That's just wrong!
Jacob: hey leave the guy alone he did nothing to you!
May: He doesn't look very dependable does he?
Jacob: Maybe he's nervous, you know stage fright can be a struggle for some people, hang in there Romeo! We're rooting for you (looks at brock) well most of us are!
Romeo: Hey, thanks mates! Alright Volbeat! Everyone out! (tosses his Pokeball)
All of his volbeats came out
Romeo: It's showtime Volbeat!
Volbeat nodded as it flies off with the other volbeats
Romeo: Right!
The volbeats began to fly toward Illumise, the main volbeat became lovestruck, unfortunately it was flying too close to Illumise
Juliet: They're too close to Illumise!
Romeo: (worried) Oh....
Juliet: Please direct your Volbeat like you're supposed to!
Romeo: (gets a baton) Right...(spins the baton) Straight away Volbeat now do what I.....(but the the stick spun out of his hands; gasps)
The spin was heading for the water
Romeo: (gasps with horror) No!
The volbeat noticed this as he flew down towards it as the other 4 volbeats followed him behind unfortunately it bumped into Illumise as the rest of the volbeats came down with them
Romeo: Help!
Juliet: My Illumise!
Illumise and the volbeat's fall into the water
Jacob: Oh no.
Brock: Juliet!
The 5 Volbeat were splashing in the water
Juliet: (worried) Illumise! Where are you Illumise?! Illumise!
She then accidentally bumped Romeo away and she dove into the water. Romeo ends up falling into the water as well
Romeo: Somebody help me I'm drowning I can't swim!
Jacob: oh no I must save him! Hang on dude!
Jacob ran out and jumped into the water
Juliet was swimming down worried as she searches for Illumise
Juliet: (in her thoughts) Illumise, where are you?
She continued to swim
Romeo: Somebody, help me, I can't swim, I'm drowning!
Jacob then appeared next to him
Jacob: Quick dude grab on to me!
Romeo grabbed onto his back
Romeo: Oh thank goodness thank you!
Jacob: No problem.
Jacob brought him back to the dock
Jacob: You okay man?
Romeo:Oh I'm quite alright. I was surprised that I was frozen.
Jacob: it's alright man (seeing the pokemon still in the water) wait here I'll save the pokemon.
Jacob swam towards the volbeats as grabbed all 5 of them and placed them on the dock
Jacob: Here you go buddy, now all that's left is Illumise.
Jacob then saw a bright light at the bottom of the lake
Jacob:(gasp) I see it!
Jacob swam to the bottom and saw Illumise who was unconscious but glowing, he was to her as fast as he can as he grabbed her as swam back up with her
Timeskip
We now see everyone on the deck checking on the volbeats and Romeo
Brock: (brings a towel) Here Juliet I brought a towel for you.
Juliet: (accepts the towel) Great, I could use this....(cleans herself) Thank you. But Illumise....
Brock: Huh?
Nurse joy and jacob were checking on Illumise as it then woke up
Jacob: Oh thank goodness she's okay.
Juliet: Illumise!
Illumise flew to Juliet happy as she laughed happily
Juliet: Thanks goodness!
Nurse Joy: Juliet, I think Illumise should have a check-up at the Pokemon Center, 'kay?
Romeo: alright.
Romeo then turned to jacob
Romeo: Thanks, for saving me.
Jacob: no problem, by the way my name is Jacob, these are my friends, we're one our way to the next pokemon contest.
Romeo: I sure wish I were as energetic as you. You have so much passion. I DON'T!! No energy! (falls into the water again)
Romeo: (in the water in panic) Pull me outta here, I'm gonna catch a cold. I'm drowning again!
Jacob then pulled him out again
Jacob: Maybe we should go somewhere where you can't drown okay.
Romeo:Yeah that sounds good to me.
Timeskip
At the poke center
Nurse Joy: Here Romeo! Your Volbeat will be just fine! (gives him his Volbeat Pokeballs)
Romeo: (Takes 'em) Thank you.. Thank you..(Sighs)
Jacob: You're still bummed out.
Romeo nodded sadly
Jacob: Hey buddy it's okay we all get nervous sometimes it's natural.
Romeo: I know. But, the way my luck has been running, we're going to mess up in this festival and royally!
Jacob: Hey, you can always keep practicing. I could help if you want.
May: That's right! We're all dying to see your Light Dance!
Romeo: Good enough! No sense in being a wet blanket, right?!
Jacob: yeah.
Small timeskip
Romeo: Without Illumise we can't really have a proper rehearsal but here goes. Right then Volbeat, ....(tosses his Pokeballs) Go!
His four volbeat popped out his main then then flied in front of them
Romeo: (spins his baton) Heads up, lads! Fly in formation!
His five volbeats then flew in a straight line formation, the main one was commanding the others as they then formed a V like formation
Romeo: Somersault!
They then flew in a somersault
Jacob: impressive Romeo
May: Talk about an improvement!
Max: So what's different?
Romeo: Very good Beat!
His main volbeat named beat flew by them
Brock: Well, if you can pull that off during the May festival there'll be nothing to worry about.
Jacob: yeah trust me buddy you're gonna do great.
Romeo: thanks Jacob, Everything is always aces when I practice alone but when I try it out with Juliet... We both fall flat on our faces!
Jacob: we?
Romeo: Beat, my leading Volbeat, whenever it gets near Illumise Beat gets out of sorts.
Beat sadly agreed
Max: So ya' mean Beat gets so nervous that you guys can't perform as well as in the rehearsal?
May: And, how do you feel when you're with Juliet, Romeo?
Romeo: I guess first of all, I get this tight feeling in my chest. And then my heart starts beating fast. My hands will get all sweaty. And before you know it I get all goofy and clumsy. Shaking like a leaf and unable to speak! Then, I'm completely hopeless.
May: He's sick alright...no doubt about that. Problem is... there's no hospital in the world that can cure him!
Jacob: what no he's not.
May: (awestruck) yeah He's love sick!
Jacob: You got a crush on Juliet.
May: So Romeo, you do like Juliet, don't you?
Romeo: Huh?
Brock: (lovestruck) Yes! I do! So much I can't take it!
Jacob: (pushed brock away) NOT YOU!
May: I'm right aren't I Romeo?
Romeo: I... don't know. See... Juliet... and I...Um...we've been mates since we were kids. So... no.
May: Yes! Even old friends can fall in love, you know!
Romeo: Yeah? Straight on?
May: Sure! And I'd bet Beat is in love with Illumise!
Romeo: uh...
Jacob: oh yeah he is, i saw it myself, he was lovestruck the moment he saw her.
Romeo: So we're in love?! (disappointed) Great.... just great! Now what am I supposed to do?
May: Now don't you worry, I know just the thing! (laughs and blushes) There's nothing like finding young love!
Jacob: yeah buddy, trust me buddy if there is anyone who can help you here it is me, i am an expert in romance.
Romeo:really?
Brock:But didnt the girls confess to you like each and everyone of them?
Jacob: Hey I am quite the romantic person compared to you, trust me Romeo, when we are done you'll be the happiest man alive.
Romeo:Ok!

We see "Juliet" on a balcony
Jacob: Alright there she is, do your thing Romeo.
Romeo slowly walked up to "her"
Romeo: Um... Juliet? Well there's something I need to tell you....You see... It's just.... I... I... really...
May: Like you!
Jacob: Yeah, say it buddy.
Romeo: I don't think I can say it.
Jacob: I see, I bet it's hard right, you feel a lot of pressure do you?
Romeo:I mean quite a lot.
Jacob: I bet I don't blame you, but sometimes it's better to just get it over with and once you do all of the pressure will be gone.
Romeo: But, what if she says she doesn't like me?
Jacob: Well that's okay cause you can always still be friends, what matters most is that you two will always have each other's back no matter what.
romeo:Oh that's still a good thing.
Jacob: yeah.
Brock:(dressed up as Juliet)UH yeah let's put a pause right there You have got to get yourself Back into the mainframe of not letting your nerves Return!
Jacob: I am handling that brock! Now Go back to the position man, we gotta get this right or the light dance isn't gonna happen and this man will never know if she loves him or not, now come on.
Brock:(dressed up as Juliet) why can't you be it you got long hair!
Jacob: because I'm the coach!
The two of them began arguing
Max:and there they go babbling.
Jacob: I am the couch and I say you be Juliet now get back in position okay!
brock:Oh Yeah I'll get back there. I'll TOTALLY BE LIKE JULIET.*goes back a bit mad*
Jacob: Okay let's try this one more time.
Romeo: But why? I can't bring myself to say it!
Brock: Would ya like the master to show you how it's done?!
Romeo: Huh?
Brock: My friend, the truth is I love Juliet every bit as you do! (grabs his hand) Man to Man, no hard feelings because we're rivals, okay?
Romeo: Uh... Okay.
Brock: (with a bouquet of flowers; lovestruck) My Juliet! Your beauty out-beautifies even these roses! Hark! Your love has pierced my heart as a thorn would! Dear Juliet! Take my heart...(comes up the stairs; crazy lovestruck) HEAL WITH YOUR LOVE!
Jacob: stop just stop do not do any of that Romeo, that is too much brock, too much!
Brock:Oh Yeah How about you how much do you think she's going to want to be with you I mean look at Natasha she was mad at you at first and then later on the day BOOM she joins you and the harem!
Jacob: I was casual, you just went all out like crazy, there is a big difference. Let me tell you how it's done! Take notes romeo, here's how it works.
Jacob placed brock back in the position
Jacob: first you see the girl, you will slowly start at panic a bit, but you must remain calm, try to think about what you will say to her, then keep saying it in your head until you are confident that you can do it, then you walk up to the girl, that is where the pressure starts to rise but the solution is simple, try taking some deep breaths until you feel calm, then there's the moment where you got her attention this is the most important part romeo, you must not say that you love her right off the bat, you gotta take it slow, start off by complimenting her, say she looks pretty today and then for your case talk about how you have had a great time together, tell me how long have you two been with each other for?
Romeo: around 16 years by now.
Jacob: 16 years well i bet you've had many fun times together right, use those time, tell her all the good memories you had with her and how as time went by you have thought of her as more than a friend and that you are hoping that she has the same feeling for you, if she does then that's good, if she doesn't than that okay cause even if she doesn't become your girlfriend, she will always be your best friend, and that my friend is how you do a confession.
Romeo:Oh alright! I'll see what I can do.
Jacob: Alright, let's try this one last time.
Jacob put brock in position
Jacob: alright here we go Romeo, remember what i taught you, take deep breaths and try to say your confession in your head okay
Romeo:Yes, I've got it.
Jacob: alright now go on and give it a shot
Romeo slowly began to walk up to "Juliet" but this time he was taking deep breaths and felt calmer this time as he remembered a moment he had with juliet
(Flashback of a young Romeo and Juliet)
Young Juliet: Hey Romeo?
Young Romeo: Yeah?
Young Juliet: When you and I get to be grown ups and all do think you'd want to marry me?
Young Romeo: Sure! Why not?
Young Juliet: Promise? (kisses Romeo in the cheek)
Young Romeo: (blushes with gasps)
(They both shared a laugh)
(Flashback ends)
Romeo:(sigh) ju....
Just then they heard a girl scream
Jacob: What the, who was that?
Brock:Well let's go and hurry!
They all head to the voice and saw juliet and Illumise being held at gunpoint by have savage hunters
Jacob: hey!
Sav.Grunt 2:Oh it's you!
Jacob: Let them go!
Sav.Grunt 1:Ok *points the gun closer to her head*
Sav. Grunt 3: any of you make another move, both of these ladies get it *cocks his gun*
Sav.Grunt 5:Heh. Last time I checked this is going to really become the true ending of Romeo and juliet!
Jacob: actually they both killed themselves in the story they weren't murdered
Sav.grunt 4:yeah true But sometimes there's always reboots and interpretations!*prepares his gun*
Jacob:(mind) I must think of something or else those two will die.
He then noticed that Romeo's volbeats were still out
Jacob:(mind) that's it! (Speaking to Romeo through telepathy) Romeo, it's me Jacob, you can hear me!
Romeo nods
Jacob:(Speaking to romeo through telepathy) good pay attention, these guy will shoot her you gotta distract them.
romeo:(mind)I'll use all of my volbeats to blind them in a hurry and do something once they are blinded.
Jacob:(Speaking to romeo through telepathy) I was thinking the same thing, get them ready on the count of 3 get them to use flash okay
romeo:(mind)Well then go on.
Jacob:(Speaking to Romeo through telepathy) 1...2...3...(outloud) NOW!
romeo:Volbeat's Blind them all quickly!
The volbeat's tail glowed yellow as they released a massive bright light that blinded all the hunters
The grunts:
Jacob then moves it and punched them all knocking them down and causing them to drop their weapons
Jacob: No one is getting shot today!
Just then the heard some beeping noises from the grunt's bodies
Jacob: Oh no, guys RUN!
Everyone but jacob ran as the bodies blew up causing blood to go all over jacob
Jacob: OH GOD NOT AGAIN, I THINK IT GOT INTO MY MOUTH!
Timeskip
Afterwards jacob washed himself a lot until the blood was gone
Jacob: I am starting to get annoyed with these self destruct grunts.
Romeo:Wait what.
Jacob: don't ask buddy, it's best you don't know
They then see Illumise giving beat a kiss on the cheek
Jacob: well would you look at that
Romeo: Juliet, listen...
Juliet: Huh?
Romeo: (blushes) I... like you.
Juliet: (gasps surprised) So sudden?
Romeo: Huh?
Brock: (comes with a bouquet of flowers; lovestruck) Juliet! I like you too! (knees down) And at least I brought you flowers!
Jacob then hit him on the head causing him to lay on the ground with a bump on his head
Jacob: NOT NOW BROCK! Go on you two.
Juliet then approached romeo
Juliet: You promised! We'd get married when we grew up! So then...
Romeo: Huh?
Juliet: (winks) Gonna keep your promise?
Romeo: S-Sure... why not?
The two of them kissed as the others (except brock) cheered for them
Jacob: woo atta boy romeo!
May:Now that's how romance works!
Jacob: indeed (kissed may)
Then the girls swarm Jacob in a group and you already know it's going to take awhile.
Meanwhile
We still see the blood and body parts of what's left of the grunts as general ghost arrived as saw the remains
ghost: Pathetic.*proceeds to burn the remains* Now to get to that Hansen dickhead.*proceeds to return onto his bike and go to the airport*
