Going inside I saw mia in the living room
"So everything alright,?" She asks

I shake my head heading to my room with her following me I sigh
"So what you have to tell me so bad yuh couldn't seh ova di phone,?" She says dropping herself on my bed
"I met someone," I say sitting beside her
Her face lightens up she sits up clapping her hand historically
"Omg omg how she look? Is she pretty? weh she come from?," She asks
I laugh
"She's originally from jamaica but she lives in LA and I'll let you judge," I say taking out my phone going on her Instagram mia is now on her knees priying into my phone
"WOW she's pretty wait unuh meet pon insta,?" She asks scrolling through the pictures liking them
"No don't like them," I say reaching for the phone mia looks at me
"Why not,?" She asks i look down

"Exactly," she says liking the pictures anyway
I sigh

I sigh standing up in the bed we jumped up and down as she laughs I later start laughing with her
Dropping down on the bed the sound of heavy breathing could be heard throughout the silent room
We erupt into laughter a comfortable silence falls onto us as we sigh
"Isn't it funny how life works," She says sighing
"Weh yuh mean,?" I ask turning to look at her
"Well we both have two months of school left we both found somebody to love us unconditionally and we have great people around us," she says
True dat mj dem still deh deh and we each found a partner well I'm pending on that... but she does have a point
"Yeah it's funny I guess things work out for the best," I say sighing
Just to think a week ago I was head over heels for mia wishing she felt how I did now I feel nothing but how I should have felt loving her as a friend her best friend to be exact
"Promise me something," she says sitting up I sit up too
"Yeah," I say looking at her to find her already looking at me
"Promise that no matter what you'll always be my best friend and we'll stay by each other no matter what happens ever," she says
"I promise," I say to her
"Pinky promise,?" She says pushing out her pinky for me to swear
I chuckle
"Pinky promise," I say sealing the deal
"Hug,?" She says smiling I smile too engulfing her into a bear hug

She pulls away after a minute smiling she sits down I follow looking at her

Even though I'm here right now I'm still hurt by what she did and everything that happened
"I just wanted to see you," she says sipping on her drink
This was a waste of time should've listen to my mind and stayed home I sigh getting up
"Wait," she says getting up I look down on her

"Remember when I told you the exact same thing and what did you do,?" I ask her face emotionless
She sighs looking down
"That was a long time ago just sit and let's talk," she says looking back up at me

"Come," she says using her finger to call me to her my foot starts moving by themselves before I knew it I was in between her legs looking up at her
"Let me take this," she says taking the glass of wine out my hand putting it beside her
Looking into my eyes she smiles biting her bottom lip she says

"No he's not coming can you drop me off,?" I say sighing
"Is everything alright,?" He asks me I nod feeling my stomach churn
"You sure,?" He asks I nod he takes up his car key telling me to follow him

He told me to not hurt her and he's doing exactly that after the phone call mia was quiet even in the car she was quiet and she'd usually be talking or giggling
What did he say to her?
I tried asking but she says it's nothing smiling but it doesn't meet her eyes

I don't feel like sleeping next to him tonight something seems off with the house him everything I don't know but my intuition is telling me something isn't right

Since I got here I locked myself inside my room and haven't came out and not once has tae come to check up on me
I sigh closing my eyes going to sleep
