Kyla's PoV
"Who were you talking to?" He asked. Napatingin ako sa kan'ya and he keeps on driving. "On the phone."
Oh.. Should I say it was Adam? The fucking guy who stole my fucking car.
"Just an old friend." I said. He looked at me and asked again
"Yeah? What's her name?" He asked again before looking at me.
"It's Adam." I said, almost a whisper.
"Oh.. so, he's a guy?" He asked then looked at me. Itinigil niya ang kotse at sumandal habang nakatitig lamang sa akin.
Oh, shit..
"Y-yes." Tanging sambit ko. He was still looking at me like he was just waiting for me to speak up.
Fuck it! Who am I to lie to you?
I sighed. "He's my enemy. Not for life, though, just an enemy because of a race. He called earlier to ask me.. if my grudge wants to have a rematch.." I looked down and saw my hands clenching.
"And what did you say?" He asked. I answered without looking at him.
"I said yes." I looked at him. "And I plan to bring you there, later. Let's go home and drop what we bought. Then, I'll bring you there to watch me beat his ass." He smirked then continued to drive.

Nakauwi na kami at nagtulong kaming dalawa na ipasok sa bahay ang mga groceries namin pati na rin ang mga binili naming damit. Nahagip ang mata ko ang isang paper bag na hindi naman namin binili kanina.
"Aaron, what's that?" Turo ko sa paper bag na iyon. He grabbed it and looked at me emotionless.
"None of your business."
Ouch.
Parang may sumapak sa puso ko nang sabihin niya iyon. I looked down and continued putting the veggies inside the refrigerator.
"And, please." I looked at him, we both are looking at each other emotionless until he... SMIRKED?! Kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa ngisi niyang iyon.
Can't deny that he looks sexy with that fucken' smirk.
"Don't call me 'Aaron'." I just stared at him for a full ten seconds before I got caught off guard, "Call me 'baby'." He blew me a flying kiss then left. I felt my cheeks burning because of him. I felt my heart beats faster than normal at nawala ang sakit na naramdaman ko kanina.
What the fuck just happened...?
"Hoy! Tulala ka d'yan." Nakita ko si Kenneth na nakatuwad sa lamesa habang sumisimsim ng coke in a can at nakatingin sa akin.
Wait..
"Hoy ka rin! Kakabili ko lang n'yang coke!" Tumawa lang siya at inangat ang hawak ng unti.
"Cheers." He said then left. I watched him leave wanting to throw a rock at him.
I quickly finished what I was doing at umakyat na sa kwarto. I wore a black hoodie, black timberlands, and a leather pants.
I wasn't actually thinking straight. I was thinking about what will happen later. Will I win? I must win. Luna is probably not okay in his command.
As I walked down the hallway, I received a text message from Aaron. He told me that he was already outside. Pumunta na rin ako kung nasa'n siya. I saw him there, leaning on the car while playing with the car keys with his right hand while his left hand is inside his pocket.
My heart took a leap as I stare at his posture. It was already sunset so I couldn't see his face, but I can tell that he is so fucking handsome.
"Take a picture. It'll last longer." He said. I straightened my back and walk towards him.
"Ew." I said. Inagaw ko sa kaniya ang car keys at tinulak siya paalis. "I won't serve you anymore. Do what pleases you." I winked at him and entered the car.
I saw him roll his eyes before entering the car. I started driving while taking a glimpse of his side.
Fucking sharp jawline. Those brown eyes which shines as the sunlight hits it. That pointy nose that I want to flick.
And that lips I wonder what tastes like.
Napatingin siya sa akin. Our eyes met and I smiled. And looked away.
"I'll use this car for my race. You're staying in the crowd whether you like it or not." I felt that he stared at me for a while before speaking.
"It's fine. I'll be at the front row." I smirked before teasing him.
"VIP yarn?"

I saw Adam laughing with his friends. Nagdilim ang paningin ko nang tumingin siya sa gawi namin. Ipinuwesto ko sa tabi ng kotse niya ang kotse ni Aaron at lumabas. I slammed the car door and was about to attack him but Kendrick, the owner of the place, stopped me.
"Give me my fucking car back." I looked at him sharply as he laughed.
"Cute. But, no. Not after you defeat me." He smiled and leaned in. "Will you able to defeat me?" I was about to punch him but Kendrick held my hand at tumayo sa harap ko. I tried to free my hands but he was fucking strong.
"You fucking cheated! You put a fucking hole in my fucking tires, you son of a bitch!" I shouted and kept on fighting Kendrick's grip. My blood was boiling because of anger.
My anger won't end without me punching someone.
"Kyla, stop." Awat sa akin ni Kendrick. "Stop it. Shouting won't sort things out." I looked at him before pulling my hands. I looked at Adam again before speaking.
"I'll fucking win tonight. Mark my fucking words." He smiled before saying
"I would love to see you try." I was about to attack him again but I felt a tight hug around my waist. By the smell of his perfume, I calmed down and looked at him. His eyes was telling me to stop and I did.
Ano bang ginawa sa akin ng lalaking ito at parang naging sunod-sunuran ako?
After minutes of calming down, parehas kami ni Adam na tumayo sa harap ng kanya-kanya naming kotse. We were looking at each other habang nasa gitna namin si Kendrick.
"State your bets. You go first, Kyla." I looked at Kendrick before looking at my opponent sharply.
"If I win, I'll take my car back, and a hundred thousand pesos." I seriously said. He smirked before speaking.
"And if I win, I'll take your new car..." He stopped for a while to look at my whole body. "And you.. in bed."
My body froze as I heard what he just said. I felt like backing up. My hands started shaking and I felt my heart beat faster.
What if I lose? What if he wins? What if he cheats again?
"Is there any objections on each other's bet?" I couldn't answer. It was like my tongue is frozen.
If I object at his bet, this race will be re-scheduled. Knowing him, his bet never changes. If I object, it'll be too late.
I must win this race. I'm not going to give my virginity to someone else except..
I looked around and saw him.
Aaron...
I can't disappoint him.
My eyes zoomed in to his lips as he mouthed few words.
"You can do it." Nawala ang kaba ko nang sabihin I smiled at him before looking at my opponent again.
"Let the race begin." I said instead of Kendrick. I entered my car and so did Adam. I put my seatbelts on at tinitigan ang bawat galaw ni Kendrick sa gitna ng kotse namin.
He pulled out a white handkerchief and raised it in the air. In my eyes, everything was slowing down. The crowd's cheer, my breathing, Kendrick's handkerchief, everything was slow. But my heart beat were faster than the speed of light.
I looked at the timer.. last 3 seconds.

I looked at Kendrick's handkerchief.
1...
It dropped.
I stepped at the accelerator and drove my life off. I kept glancing at Adam's car and kept on driving. I turned left because there was a sign to go there. Naunahan ko na si Adam.. but I quickly stepped on the break. Sinundan ko pa ng tingin ang kotse niya na lagpasan ang kotse ko. I smirked as a plan slapped my braincells.
I quickly stepped on the accelerator to chase after his car, I kept my place behind him and make him feel glad about winning.
Not just yet, you son of a bitch. This is just the first round and the rule is whoever get the first three wins, wins.
Hindi ko pa tinotodo ang pag-apak sa accelerator upang manatili sa likod lamang ng kotse ni Adam. Kunwari ko pa siyang uunahan at agad naman niya akong hinaharangan.
The first race ended and he won. He got out of his car with a quirky grin on his face and approached his friends. Nakipag-fist bump pa siya sa mga ito. I stayed at my car and waited for the next round to begin.
My plan worked. He won two times. Sobra ang ngiti niya sa mukha at nagyayabang na siya.
"Ano na, Kyla? Wala ka na bang palag sa akin? Boring mo naman." He said. Nagtawanan pa ang mga kaibigan nito. I smirked at them before speaking.
"Don't celebrate too early, Adam. Papunta pa lang tayo sa exciting part."
The third round began. Dito ko na talaga tinodo ang pag-tapak sa accelerator. This time, I won't let him win. Nilabas ko ang sama ng loob ko sa kaniya sa pamamagitan ng pag-tapak sa accelerator at pagd-drive.
I left him behind me. Sisiguraduhin kong hindi niya ako malalampasan kahit anong pagd-drive ang gawin niya.
I heard the crowd cheer for my name and that gave me motivation and energy to keep driving and to achieve victory.
I won the third round and looked at Adam's face. Look at him getting angry.
Hindi na nagpatagal pa si Kendrick at pina-start na agad ang fourth round. And of course, I'm beautiful, talented, smart, and a bitch... I won the fourth round.
I stepped out of my car and so did Adam. Halata na sa mukha niya ang galit. I laughed at him and mocked his face.
"Sabi ko naman sayo..." Inakbayan ko siya at tinignan ang mga kaibigan niya. "Papunta pa lang tayo sa exciting part. Pa'no ba 'yan, Adam? All two na. May the deserving achieve victory." I took back my arm and entered my car. I looked at the crowd and saw Aaron looking at me proudly.
I felt butterflies in my stomach and felt my cheeks burning so I looked away.
The last race began, at sa hindi inaasahan... naunahan ako ni Adam. He rammed my car at nawala ako sa race track. I felt my eyes burning in anger and I drove faster. Nakatabi ko ang kotse niya and started to think of revenge.
I gritted my teeth. "You son of a fucking bitch!" I shouted and rammed his car as hard as I could. Siya naman ngayon ang nawala sa race track. I took it as a chance to drive through the finish line.
I stepped hard on the accelerator and ripped the strip of plastic using the front side of my car. I heard the crowd's cheer and confetti's are falling everywhere.
I hit the break and stepped out of the car. The view was breathtaking and everything was like in a slow motion.
Everyone was cheering... they were surrounded by confetti's. I saw Adam's car slowly getting towards me.. no, it's my car now. It's my car now.
I won.
Lumabas si Adam mula sa kotse, his expression was dark. He threw something towards me and I quickly caught it.
It was the car keys. I felt my heart beating so fast. I ran towards Luna and hugged her. Feeling her hard trunk again made me burst into tears.
"I won. You're mine again." I said. I felt a hand touched my back and I knew who it was.
I stood straight and hugged him. He carried me while we both laughed because of victory.
"You won!" He said while laughing while lifting me off the ground, he spined me around.
"I won!" I said. He let me down and....
I felt soft thing on my lips. I then realized that his face was too close to mine. He was kissing me. Heart beating so fast, cheeks were flushed, butterflies in stomach, slowly closed my eyes.
"Sorry." Kakapikit ko pa lang nang tanggalin niya ang pagkakalapat ng labi niya sa labi ko. "I didn't mean to-" I didn't let him finish and crashed my lips onto his.
Just shut the fuck up and let me enjoy this moment.
