I arrive at kings cross and run into platform 9 3/4.
Once I get on the train I sit next to Pansy, Draco , and Mattheo. Blaise was with Crabbe and Goyle in the compartment next to us.
"so how was your aunt and uncle?" Pansy asks me breaking the calm silence that I actually enjoyed.
"normal I guess" I say looking out the window."same as always I don't really know what else to say."
"are they rude to you?" She asks concerned.
"I don't really pay attention to them but they are quite annoying."
"Why didn't you come visit me?" Mattheo asks concerned.
"what?" I ask confused then remember about the joke he mad before I left about running away and living with him."oh um... Who do you even live with?"
"my brother." He says.
"does he go to Hogwarts?" Pansy asks.
"yeah he's in 7th year though." He says "Tom Riddle."
"isn't he the heir of slytherin?" Draco asks.
"yeah but its not really that hard to enter the chamber of secrets."
"have you ever Been there?" I ask him.
"A couple times." He says as we all continue to talk until we arrive in the great hall.
"Hello Students of All Houses!" Dumbledore shouts. "we will be hosting the triwizard tournament this year!"
As he continued to explain me and Mattheo gave eachother a kind of worried look knowing it can't end well.
"17 year olds!" Blaise says shocked. "so only 7th years then!"
"yeah" Draco scoffs "Dumbledore's really let this place go to the dogs!"
"what do you mean?" Pansy asks Draco.
"He can't keep up with all the injuries he gets students into" he says "he thinks if he just waits till they are adults he can't be charged."
"well he can't" Mattheo says.
Draco looks at him slight hatred in his eyes that I have never seen before.
"wait till my father here's about this!" Draco says eying dumbledore.
"what's your father going to do?" Mattheo asks. Draco glares at him and I nudge his arm trying to stop him from causing a fight.
"he works for the ministry!" Draco says getting angry.
"wel-" he begins.
"Mattheo!" I say as he looks over shocked. He looks at me as if I had said something unforgivable.
He gets up and leaves . I stay put being to tired to deal with it.
"Mattheo?" I ask as I enter our dorm.
I look at his bed to find him sleeping. I lye on my own thinking.
Why was Mattheo being so rude to Draco? They've been acting really distant since the train.
I go to bed trying to clear my mind of all stress. But tonight I think that the stress has only just begun.
