"zaeland come backkk" karnation whined as she sat on the phone with him.
he was a good worker and she didn't know why his hours were getting cut.
she wasn't in charge or any of that but she would go to check on it.
"unt un nope because why they playing with my money?" zaeland mugged the camera.
"i told you i'll check and have the money you were missing from your checks in your new one" karnation sighed.
"ok nation, you lucky I love you. and tell Barb big ass don't get her ass beat again" he said hanging the phone up.
she laughed and stood up taking off her vest.
"how you doing love?" she asked Toriana who was stocking the shelves.
"good but that lady over there keep saying slick things, it's my first day and I didn't wanna seem like a bother"
karnation turned around and saw she was talking about Barb.
"you fine keep working i'll be back"
karnation was tired of Barb in general she had a bad attitude and only likes to pick with the kids.
even though karnation was soft spoken she still knew how to defend herself and others around her.
"barb let me talk to you" karnation mugged her.
"about what?" Barb smiled, another thing she liked to do was play innocent.
"why you keep bothering all these people! everybody is quitting or trying to fight because of you" karnation got loud.
"that's not my fault" barb crossed her arms.
"well you getting fired must not be your fault either.. run that vest" karnation crossed her arms.
Barb scoffed she wasn't about to let a 19 year old tell her she was fired.
"umm bitch I could've sworn that girl said run her that vest" donald walked up with some box of fruit snacks.
Barb threw the vest to the floor and stomped off.
"Toriana stop acting like you working before you piss me off" donald laughed.
"don't you got somebody to rob or something ? go away" toriana huffed.
"i told you i was coming back for the discount card" he ignored what Toriana said.
"here" she handed him the card.
"ion even know why I need this bitch i'm finna steal all this shit anyways" he shrugged walking off.
"who is he to you?" Karnation laughed.
"my boyfriend" toriana rolled her eyes.
"you need a ride ?" karnation asked Toriana who was texting her brother to come get her.
"it's fine, i'll call an uber"
"i'm gone give you a ride for free don't waste yo money" karnation laughed.
"you not gone try to kill me or nothing are you?" toriana asked as she got in the car.
"ima give u a job just to kill you after the first day ?"

"put your address in"
"you wanna come in? it's just the same people from yesterday" Toriana told her.
"even Donald?" karnation shook her head.
"even his dumb ass" toriana mumbled as they got out the car.
she unlocked the door and they both walked inside.
"let me take a picture of y'all in y'all matching vest" donald cheesed.
"i'm finna break up with you" toriana mugged him.
"introduce her" one of the dudes said to toriana.
"this is karnation"

"donald ugly ass"
"hollon na" donald mugged both of them.

"and my brother Skudd" she pointed to the one karnation helped.
"that's his real name?" karnation asked twisting her lips to the side.
"don't be funny" he mugged her.
"i-i wasn't" she stuttered sitting down next to him.
everybody broke off into their own conversations and karnation eyes traveled to his stomach.
"how is it?" she asked referring to the wound.
"it's coo, can you change em for me?" he asked looking at her.
"what y'all talking about?" donald asked breaking some weed down with her discount card.
"mind yours come on" skudd grabbed her wrist pulling her towards his room.
he grabbed the first aid kit and handed it to her.
"i never said I was gonna change them" she mugged him.
"i never gaf" he took his shirt off she tucked her lip in and began to change his bandages.
the room was silent the whole time since last time she asked him something he snapped on her.
"do you have something I can rub on this?" she questioned.
"mm" he handed her something off his dresser she put some on her finger and slowly rubbed it where he was shot at.
"i'm done, i have to go I got work tomorrow" she lied.
"don't lie" he mugged her.
"don't call me a liar" she frowned.
"then don't lie , like I said"
"who's lying ? i do have work."
"ok then get out" he plucked her head.
"i was gone do that anyways bitch" she mumbled the last part.
he looked up at her she noticed and walked out the room fastly.
"bye Tori, i'll see you at work" karnation grabbed her keys.
"can I have my discount card?" she looked at donald.
"no fr i'm coming in to buy some stuff tomorrow" he nodded his head.
"give her the card before i smack you" toriana huffed.
"she just talk to you any kind of way" nas laughed.
"it wasn't funny. i'm not giving her the card because i'm using it tomorrow like I said" donald walked out the room.
"i'll see you guys later" karnation let out a small laugh walking out the house.
"why are you here?" she opened the door to Skudd.
"to see you" he mumbled walking inside.
he really just liked being around her.
"who said I wanted company?" she questioned he ignored her and took his shoes off.
"u in my house how you ignoring me?"
"you asking dumb shit if I wanna come over here I am"
"ok" she sighed knowing he wasn't finna leave no time soon.
3 am
"come lock tha door" he shook her awake.
she rubbed her eyes and held onto him tighter.
"where u going?" she asked unwrapping her arms from around him.
he stood up and grabbed his gun and keys.
"to do something"
she nodded her head and followed behind him.
"be safe" karnation told him knowing he wasn't leaving a 3 in the morning for no reason.
"fasho" he pulled her into a hug.
once he left she locked her door and went back to her room falling asleep.
