Y/n's pov
I woke up the next day laying on my bed while hugging those soft pillows . Feeling cozy and warm in the blanket . I blinked my eyes a few times to process everything.
Again another boring day! Aish. When will this boring life end.
I started getting up to get freshen but i felt something heavy around me. I looked down at my waist and saw a muscular arm around it.
Wait what the hell is going on!?
I traced it back and saw Taehyung sleeping peacefully .
Aish! What is he doing here?
I didn't want to wake him up as he looked so cute while sleeping. Afterall he seems to be sleeping this peacefully after a long time. So I decided not to wake him up as i slowly removed his strong arm from me and went to washroom to get freshen up.
30 mins later..
I came out and saw him laying on the bed while hugging the pillows as his head layed on em too , but his eyes were open he wasn't sleeping anymore and looking outside.
I didn't feel like talking to him , i srsly don't know y. Coz the way he was ignoring me yesterday i don't know i sort of felt my worth here. I acted as if i didn't notice him and started leaving. When suddenly he spoke ;
Taehyung: Good morning.
While still looking outside and not at me.
I stopped on my tracks and responded
Y/n: m-morning .
I started to walk away again but he spoke again making me stop on my tracks once again.
Taehyung: why did you sleep here last night. Don't u know we have our own shared room?
Y/n: well i should be asking u the same question. If you know we have our own shared room then why did u sleep here with me?
Taehyung: probably coz u took my favourite pillows which i hug while sleeping. The extra ones that u left are too hard and i don't like them .
Y/n: oh, then I'll take the other ones tonight .
Taehyung: why aren't you sleeping in the other one?
Y/n: umm coz i love this one? It's got a bit of m-my vibe.
He didn't speak ahead, and went to bathroom while totally ignoring me again.
Time skip...
Just like this we didn't talk today , it's evening rn and I'm in the library talking with Nancy and helping her in keeping the books in their proper place. The boys were at their mission and we back at home in Library as i just mentioned.
Nancy: hey Y/n you should read this book. It's my fav. I've read this many times but still never get over this.
Y/n: hmm sure , the title looks crispy hopefully story too would be like that.
Nancy: I'm sure you'll love it.
Y/n: yup what else can I do now! I srsly want to go back to my work . I get bored all day long sitting here just doing nothing.
Nancy: pfft, i can understand, it was hard for me too. And tbh it still is. I'm srsly looking for a job now.
Y/n: * sighs*
Y/n: btw Nancy?
Nancy: hmm?
Y/n: do u have any idea about the pendant that i found? What's the story behind it?
Nancy stopped working and faced me.
Nancy: umm you srsly want to know that?
Y/n: Yes !!! Please!!! I can't stay like that , i want to know please.
I begged her .
Nancy: well come here.
She made me sit on the couch nearby and sat beside me.
Nancy: idk much about this. But all I can say is Taehyung had an elder brother naming David. He had some problem or as people say he was a wrong spirit that came on earth . He got escaped from the hell. Taehyung's grandma got to know about this when David was in his mother's womb. And bringing him on earth would have been really wrong. Tbh worst for our universe.
Y/n: is it srsly true?
Nancy: it sounded like a fantasy to me too. But as years went by i saw so many things happening in this house , around us that made me believe that.
Y/n: like what?
Nancy: the biggest thing is , seeing Taehyung's grandma around.
Y/n: g-grandma? But isn't she dea- i mean.
Nancy: she is not here but she's a pure soul. Who wants David to get back in that locket again. Once it gets in she'll leave the earth with that locket .
Y/n: but what happened to David? Like who is that shadow man? Why is he asking about me and why was I forced to marry Taehyung , i met him first? What's all this?
Nancy: Y/n-
Suddenly we heard some sounds outside showing they came.
We got up and went to greet em.
Felix: it was so tiring today.
Jin: i actually thought we'll get caught !
Jhope: it was too close! Thanks to Taehyung's plan , we finally were able to get the gov. Weapons out of their place.
Yeonjun: hyung! Just once again I'm asking you....
Minho: oh c'mon Yeonjun, if he has thought about this then of course he might have given it a thought no?
Yeonjun: but still!
Minho takes yeonjun away indicating Taehyung to give it to Y/n.
I was sitting near the kitchen counter while munching on to some salad with juice.
When suddenly I saw a form being slipped beside me on the counter .
I looked up and saw Taehyung leaving . That was so confusing. I was about to pick up the paper to see it but suddenly:
Nancy: bhoo!!!
Y/n:aaahhh!!! Yaah! Unnie!!!
U scare- oh shit!
I got shook as Taehyung's form got wet by juice falling above it!
Nancy: oh no! Was it important?
Y/n: ig it was. Taehyung gave it. It's totally wet now!
Nancy: wait let's dry it up.
We both started going towards the blower to dry up the papers when we noticed the entrance door clicking open and close.
Curious we , peeked from the wall to see who it was? Just to find someone we didn't expect.
Y/n: Taehyung!?
Recently after handing over these papers to me he went away towards his room then how come he's entering from the main door!?
Nancy: are u thinking what I'm thinking!?
Y/n: ig !
We didn't notice we were staring at him like fools that he even passed by us. But suddenly stopped when he felt a pair of eyes on him.
He looked at us confusingly and we stared at him dumbly.
He looked behind to check if he was blocking some view or what but found nothing.
Taehyung: uh? Is something on my face?
We came back to our senses and gulped. While blinking worriedly.
We frantically stood back right and smiled feeling embarrassed on our act.
He touched his face and then looked at his hand with which he touched.
Taehyung: is there something?
Y/n: huh!? Y-yeah beauty! All over .
He looked at me with a poker face. Yeah with no expression but deep inside did i really feel he was controlling his laugh. Suddenly Nancy pulled my arm and dragged me up through stairs on the second floor.
He let out a chuckle watching u leave and remembering what just happened rn.
With that he went to his room.
Nancy: I'm sure we were hallucinating y/n.
Y/n: ikr how can he be at two places at one time!
We laughed at eachother but soon this laugh changed to a horrifying expression as we saw Taehyung in front of us!
I climbed onto Nancy as she hugged me back.
He stopped on his tracks while he was turning up his sleeves and looked at us.
Taehyung: oh hi guys?
Me and Nancy: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We ran from there without looking back as if there was no tomorrow and came back down on the ground floor when we accidentally bumped into someone.
We massaged our heads as he turned around.
Taehyung: ah~ y/n , have you seen my blue fil-
Me and Nancy: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Y/n: TAEHYUNG STOP SCARING US!!!
Taehyung: what do u-
Taehyung's pov...
I suddenly felt something warm on my chest , the warmth was from the pendant i wore. I took it out just to see it beeping with red colour.
Taehyung: u both. Go in the room beside Kitchen immediately!
FELIX! Take em!
With that we were forced to run away from him. We were totally confused by what just happened.
Felix: stay here till the time we come back! Don't open the door, hide behind those tables and chairs. Go!
We nodded as he went away after locking it from outside.
Nancy: let's go and hide there.
I nodded and we hid there.
Meanwhile outside.
Jin: what's wrong?
Taehyung: it's beeping! Means someone close to David is here very close to us.
Show me your lockets!
Everyone pulled out their lockets and they all were beeping with red colour. Means they were real and safe.
Taehyung: great! Yeonjun and Jin go and check the CCTV footage.
Jhope u and Felix go and check the rooms. If there's any doubt or something press the emergency alarm! And Suga and Minho you come with me!
We got divided into three groups , before we could go to our respective alotted places we heard the main door being opened and closed!
Indicating someone just left.
Taehyung: everyone go to your places Suga and Minho follow me!
They reached the main door and saw it was locked!
Taehyung: damn it! They locked us!
Taehyung: Suga go and open from the other side.
He nodded and did as he was told.
Soon he opened the door, we came out just to see both our guards knocked down. Shivering in pain.
We looked around and saw no one just fog and woods.
Minho: let's help them get in.
They all went inside just Taehyung stood outside looking around while the gun in his hand.
He found no one around so he went back inside locking the door.
He walked towards the guards inside who were being treated by the maid.
Taehyung: do you three feel any better?
They three looked up at him and then looked at eachother. And then nodded at Taehyung.
Taehyung: good! But who did this to you?
They didn't say anything.
Minho: why aren't you saying something?
Guard: um...
Taehyung: don't worry, we're here, tell us who did this?
Guard 2: Master, it's you who did this to us , and it's you whose asking us who did this?
Everyone looked at Taehyung with confusion.
Taehyung: i did? But - but when!?
Felix: but he was with us !
Everyone got perplexed by their confession.
Taehyung: wait!
I understood everything! Someone got in my house with my appearance, and so that we don't catch them they hurted my guards by locking the door from outside. When Suga went to open the door from the hidden door . That spy was already gone. So damn fast could he be! Means that's not a human! But someone with special powers.
Jhope: we have to investigate about this!
By now Jin too came down.
Jin: Taehyung! I think u should see this! Come with me.
Tae nodded.
Taehyung: You three, take some rest for a few days , you're not in right state to serve. Jhope , call the other guards immediately.
Jhope nodded and went away.
Taehyung: Minho give them a room for tonight . And after this only , get Y/n and Nancy out , and remember! They shouldn't know what just happened rn! Not a single thing they should know about this! It's risky.
They nodded and went to do their work.
Taehyung went with Jin to the CCTV room where yeonjun was already there.
Taehyung: what is it.
Yeonjun: hyung watch this.
He plays the video and they saw, it was Taehyung who entered the house with other members, and then after a few minutes Taehyung again entered the house alone!
After 15 minutes , Taehyung ran out of the house and locked it from outside. The guards got confused and tried to catch him when Suga shouted to them but when they looked it was their master they apologised but this sus man was srsly something he started beating the guards and when he noticed he was being recorded he ran from there in the blink of an eye like a light's speed.
Yeonjun: he was so careful! That he came inside with us and we didn't even know. Not even noticed!
Jin: but not that careful he didn't know about the CCTV camera outside , that told us everything that happened.
Taehyung: i don't think so , ig he actually did this intentionally in front of the CCTV camera to show us! He's srsly giving us a hint or wanted us to come after but we didn't. Gotta get deeper in this mission guys. They're not easy to play.
Taehyung: guys ig it's time!
Yeonjun: are u sure?
Taehyung: don't doubt me . It is! We gotta leave this place. Even my blue file went missing! In which all the papers are there of our old castle. They'll track it down! We gotta save it! Guys pack your bags as soon as possible we'll leave day after tomorrow!
They nodded and went in their respective rooms to pack their stuff.
