This chapter gets a lil spicy at the end but nothin too crazy🤭🤭

As the days went by, you found yourself fighting the urge to wear the eyepatch. Granted, most of the times you still wore one, but occasionally you didn't. Even so, the days you didn't wear one were full of assurance thanks to Megumi.

Speaking of which, the two of you had been getting close again. He would often sit by you at dinner, telling you of the cursed locations Gojo dragged him to earlier that day. You would laugh at his stories, and sometimes tell your own.

Yet, you struggled to call him by his first name, especially when there were other people around. You were unsure why, seeing as it rolled off your tongue so easily months ago. He sometimes looked upset when you referred to him by his last name, considering he called you strictly by your first. Truly, you wished to be on a first name basis again but you just couldn't bring yourself to say his name.

"...But he won't tell me what it's about. It kinda upsets me," Fushiguro complained to you. Earlier, he was lounging in Gojo's office before he was kicked out unexpectedly.

"Yeah that is weird. I mean he's usually mysterious— but not around you. You're his favorite," you added. The two of you were sitting in the common room waiting for late dinner.

"Pfft, I dunno if I'm his favorite anymore now that Itadori exists. Seems I'm always competing with him for something," he paused and looked at you before turning away. "Besides, you say that like it's a bad thing. Don't think I haven't noticed you and Nanami," he smirked at that last bit, washing away his sour expression.

"Okay don't say it like that— ever," you sassed while he laughed. "And yeah, I am his favorite. He's made it very clear to me."

"I can see that, literally," he referenced the Nanami eye patch that you were currently wearing. Ever since you lost the other one in the couch, you haven't been able to find it. Hopefully nobody took it, but you couldn't imagine that anyone would.

"Whatever," you playfully rolled your eyes and turned the other way, crossing your arms in the process.

"Oh, guess what?" Fushiguro asked excitedly.

"What?" You whipped your head to face him.

"You know that thing I was saving up for?"

Your eyes lit up, "No way!"

"Yes way, c'mon I'll show you." He grabbed your hands and pulled you off the couch before leading you back to the dorms.

The two of you ran down the halls like crazed people as you passed by the dorms that didn't belong to Megumi. He led the way, occasionally looking back at you, and you couldn't help but smile.

"Alright," he unlocked his door and opened it for you. It looked pretty much the same as it did the last time you were in here. Except, a nintendo switch that sat on his dresser.

You gasped as you walked up to it, it's red and blue controllers sticking out of the charging dock. You even noticed he managed to get a tv in here.

Almost as if he read your mind, he said, "I had to beg Gojo to let me get a tv from one of the break rooms. But I'm sure whoever used it before me will be fine without one for now."

You laughed while you took your shoes off, and Fushiguro did the same. All of a sudden, neither of you were very hungry anymore.

Megumi's POV:

Man, if I knew a switch was all it would take for her to hang out with me I would've bought it ages ago. And there she was, sitting on my bed scrolling through the three games I had for it; Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., and The Legend of Zelda BOTW. I hadn't played much of the games since I didn't have the time, but I like them.

"I'll kick your ass in Mario Kart," y/n announced from my bed.

"Cocky are we?" I asked while sitting next to her, snatching a controller from her hand.

"I have the skill to back it up," she smirked as the game loaded. She had the blue controller, and I have to say I'm a little bit jealous. But, no matter, the red one will do.

"Mhm," I hummed while I selected 2 player mode. We decided on 150cc. I thought it would make a good challenge and y/n agreed.

Not surprisingly, she chose her favorite character. I chose Ludwig since it looked the most like me.

While we made our cars, she asked me how to bring up the "stats menu" of the current car. I looked at her with a blank expression, completely unaware that such thing existed. She sighed and began rapidly mashing buttons.

"Hey- hey now— let's go easy on the controller," I chuckled. She laughed too before she eventually found what she was looking for. Her car seemed pretty fast, but I had better traction and handling.

"Can we do the star cup? I heard it's the best."

"Sure, I've only done the mushroom cup and the lightning cup."

"Ah, I see," she replied as she looked at the two cups I had mentioned. They both had 2 stars beneath them. I was proud of those stars.

"Would you like to make a bet?" She asked as the first course—Sunshine Airport—was being displayed on the screen.

"Sure, what do you propose?" I laid down on my stomach, propping myself up on my forearms. The stitches in my right arm had finally dissolved.

"Loser does whatever the winner wants," she replied cockily. I smirked, all of a sudden hoping I would win.

"Like one thing?" I questioned.

"Yup, got any better ideas?"

"Nope, I just better start thinking of what I want you to do for me when I win."

"Tch, we'll see about that," she smiled as the countdown began.

I was able to get the extra boost at the start, but that didn't really matter since Wario hit me with a green shell within a minute. Currently, I was in 6th place and she was in 2nd. It was actually endearing to see her put so much effort into this. I'd often find myself looking at her more than the tv, but I still managed to keep my spot in 6th place. After the last lap, she came in 3rd and I ranked 5th.

"Ugh, I'd probably be in second right now if stupid Baby Peach didn't get those three green shells! Did you see how she hit me twice!?" Y/n exclaimed.

Nope.

"Yeah, pretty unlucky if you ask me," I scratched the back of my neck. I could pinpoint exactly when it happened, based on her expression, because her jaw dropped and her eyes widened.

"I'm still winning though," y/n added. It was true, she had 10 points and I had 8.

"Not for long," I quipped.

The next track was Dolphin Shoals, and it seemed pretty cool with the underwater section in the middle of the course. After the countdown, I once again got the extra boost, but so did y/n. For the first lap, we stayed pretty close; she was in 2nd and I was in 3rd with Baby Peach in 1st place. Eventually, my focus shifted from the tv to y/n as she mumbled all throughout the race. To be frank, it was cute, but it definitely cost me my spot in 3rd. By the end, I had fallen to 5th place once again. However, y/n kept her spot in second. As the names and scores were displayed, I had 16 points and she had 22. We didn't pay attention to the actual ranks since it was only the two of us.

The next two courses— Electrodome and Mount Wario— had a pretty similar outcome to the first two races; we would stay close and then she would pull away. Overall, she placed 3rd and I placed 7th.

Honestly, if it were anyone else I'd be pretty upset that I lost that badly. But, it was her, so I was okay.

"It was a good game," she spoke as she extended her right hand to me. I took her hand and gave it 3 good shakes before she pulled away. "But this means you have to do 1 thing for me upon request."

"Alright, you name it," I smirked while staring up at her. She was sitting crisscross applesauce while I remained lying down.

Y/n's cheeks flushed bright red and she looked away. It was strange how easy it was to fluster that cocky façade of hers.

"Aw what's wrong, cat got your tongue?" I sat up and brought my hand under her chin to face me; her e/c eye staring back at my blue ones.

"N-No," we held eye contact. "It's just—"

I waited.

"You just overwhelm me at times," I dropped my hand from her jaw as she placed her forehead on my shoulder. At this, I didn't really know what to say, so I repositioned us on the bed so she was laying on my chest and my back was propped up against the headboard.

"Are you tired?" I asked. It was getting to be late, but I didn't think she was this tired. She shook her head.

I arched an eyebrow, "then what's—"

I was interrupted when she suddenly sat up and kissed me. I cannot lie, I wasn't expecting this but it was definitely a pleasant surprise.

She wrapped her arms around my neck as she straddled me. I pulled her closer by her hips after she released from the kiss. She was breathing heavily.

"Megumi— I-I didn't mean to rush things, I'm sorry," y/n breathed out, keeping her head down. I reached for her eye patch and took it off, naturally causing her to look at me.

"Wha-?"

I didn't give her time to think anymore as I brought my lips to hers. She kissed back almost instantly, and this time, with more passion and... lust?

She eventually found my hair and raked her fingers through it. I must've given her the reaction she was looking for because she kept her hands there.

As we continued she moved farther into my lap until our chests were pressed up against each other. Occasionally she would rock back and forth, which definitely got a rise out of me.

"Y/n," I breathed out by her ear. She sat back to look at me, doing it again, with a smirk on her face.

"What?"

She knew exactly what she was doing this whole time.

"You better knock that shit off," I huffed. A lazy smile was plastered across her face.

"Or else...?" When she said that, I saw a glimmer of something in her eyes.

...And that's when I knew that some things stay behind closed doors.
