(At the hospital)
Lucas is in the hospital with Max, he's willing to stay there as long as necessary, till Max wakes up. Luckily for him he's not alone, he has El as his company, she wants to stay as well.
(At Hopper's)
Hopper, Joyce, Murray, Steve, Nancy, Robin, Dustin and Jonathan discuss and fight while brainstorming on how to defeat Vecna, they keep getting louder and louder.
Some others just stand in the circle, like Enzo, Mike and Erica, they don't really have any ideas, but when they disagree they won't they silent. Will just sits at the couch, he watches everyone, he hates arguments so much. He looks at everyone, he follows the in tire conversation, but now he's sick of it, the yelling is getting too much, he sighs, stands up and walks outside.
Most of them looked at Will when he stood up, but looked away after realizing he's got nothing to say, and they got back to arguing, except for Mike and Jonathan.
Mike looks at Jonathan, he normally takes care of Will when they're around each other, they're brothers so it would make sense, Jonathan looks at Mike, he thought that if Mike noticed, Mike can go after Will, maybe Will can tell Mike what he's been hiding from Mike. So Jonathan goes back to arguing.
Mike panics, he doesn't want to go to Will, well he does, but things have been so awkward between them lately, not to mention the fact that El broke up with him for real this time two months ago.. she had to focus on the new "situation" and said the spark between them was gone.. he's been upset about it ever since. He doesn't wanna comfort anyone.
But to be reasonable, the whole conversation that's been going on here won't cheer him up either, he might as well go after Will. He stands up and goes outside. He walks around the house, but can't find Will anywhere- then he hears a bag falling on the ground, he looks up and sees Will in the distance sitting against a three. Will can't see Mike, because Mike's behind a big bush. Mike looks at Will for a while.. he smiles, Will is in his own world when he is drawing, that's how Mike always viewed him, especially when they where younger.. an artist, someone that could go to a whole different world while working on his masterpieces..<3
Mike places his hand on a branch, well- he thought it was a branch, instead he fully holds on to a poisoned ivy-
'OUCH- AAAh- shit- Aah-!' he accidentally yells out
Will hears Mike and looks up, in a rush he packs his art supplies, stuffs them in his bag and runs into the forest, he's not in for a talk with Mike right now..! Mike sees Will running away and runs after him, but at the time he's at the three where will sat just a few moments ago, Mike can't see Will anywhere. Then something catches his eye, he bends down and picks up a paper, probably from Will's sketch book. He picks it up but it's a blank page, he turns the paper around and to his surprise there's a beautiful drawing of him with lots of heart around his head.. why would there be so much hearts around his head?
That's when Mike actually realized..
everything.. all along.. he sometimes thought something between them was different from the others.. but he pushed it away, thinking it wouldn't be possible.. his breathing is speeding up, he doesn't know why, the moment he realizes his eyes are starting to water he wipes his eyes and looks in the distance again to check if he can see Will anywhere..! Then he starts running..
Running and running and running until at some point he stops, he can barely breath, he falls on his knees. He feels so stupid.. how has he never realized this before..?!
'WILL WHERE ARE YOU?!' He screams with his last energy..!
The amount of running and emotions weren't a good combination.. and so he shanks to the floor.
'Mike..?'
Mike hears his name, in an eco.. far away.. he sees a blur running towards him..
'MIKE!'
He recognizes the voice now..
'Will..'
it's.. it's Will. Will rushes down to the ground next to Mike, Mike can feel Will lifting his head and back on Will's lap. He's in good hands.. he knows that.. and so he allows himself to faint.
(Wills pov)
Will ran far away, but he heard that Mike followed him, but after running for a while he didn't hear Mike anymore. Will hides behind a three. But then he hears Mike screaming..
'WILL WHERE ARE YOU..?!'
Something about mikes voice didn't sound right.. it was this hopeless, scared and desperate scream.. but it sounded more like a scream for help.. the voice crack sounded like someone who's dangerously extreme out of breath..
Will can't help himself, he looks at where the sound came from the second after Mike's scream, he sees Mike on his knees, but before he could even blink Mike collapsed to the ground! Will gets from behind the tree immediately!
'Mike..?' Obviously Mike couldn't hear him
Will starts running towards Mike,
'MIKE!'
He kneels down next to Mike, lifts Mike's head and back on his lap and holds him, he's got Mike, he should've never ran away in the first place, is what Will tells himself, he blames himself. Will checks Mike, he's breathing normally again, he has no scratches, just some mud on his face from the faint.. Will calms himself down as he wipes the mud off Mike's face gently with his sleeve, Mike is just out of breath.. he'll wake up, there's no hospital or help needed..
Will tries to carry Mike to a tree so Mike can lean against it to sit up, at the time he's done that he's exhausted! He smiles and looks at Mike with this true loving look..<3 Will takes off his jacket and covers Mikes chest, in case he'd get cold. Will is annoyed, he doesn't know if he should stay or go, he's way too scared to have this conversation with Mike.. but on the other hand if there's something wrong with Mike when he wakes up he might need someone.. and he can't start running again..
(Both POV 10-15 minutes later)
Mike is slowly waking up.. he hears mumbling in front of him.. it keeps getting closer, and this blur keeps getting sharper, now he sees it.. it's Will.. Mike feels something covering his chest, he looks down and sees Will's jacket.. Mike smiles gratefully.. he looks up at Will, he can't hear what Will's saying.. he can hear that he's worried about something, that is for sure-
'Will..?'
Mike's voice wakes Will up from his bargaining, he guesses destiny has chosen for him, even though Mike doesn't believe in destiny- they look at each other with this released look.. A look that says something like "I didn't lose you..! Thank god..!"
'Mike-!!' Will screams happily as he runs towards Mike and kneels down in front of him
'Will- Will are you okay..! Don't run..!' Mike panics
'I'm not- I won't I promise-! I'm staying with you..!' Will promises
'I'm so sorry Mike I shouldn't have ran..! Why did you even follow me! That faint could've been dangerous..?!' Will yells out loud worried
'You ran! I couldn't just let you leave to who knows where?! Why did you run!' Mike asks just as worried
'Well-!! ...'
'...?'
Will doesn't reply, he looks away, he's not ready to tell Mike this.. not now.. not like this..!
'Will I was so worried I-' Mike says as he tries to get up
'Mike stop!!' Will says as he grabs both Mikes shoulders and pushes him back down
'Right-..' Mike replies, questioning if he is blushing..
Then Will realizes the way he's holding Mike.. Will let go of Mike immediately, and wants to put his ands on his knees, but Mike takes Will's hands the moment Will let go of his shoulders. It's time for Mike to do some talking now.. Will has suffered from this silent nonsense for long enough.
'Will you've been hinting me all this time.. Haven't you..?' Mike asks with guilt in his voice
'What-..? what do you mean..?' Will asks, Mike wouldn't have realized.. right..?
'The.. speech in the van about El, the way you where annoyed when we went skating.. the painting you showed me of us and the group..! It was all about..' Will interrupts Mike
'I- uh- I think you hit your head when u fell Mike, you're talking nonsense-' Mike laughs awkwardly
Mike sees what Will's trying to do and smirks, he reaches for something in the pocket of his blouse.. to Will's shock Mike folds open the drawing he made of Mike earlier..!! Will can't believe this is happening?! How embarrassing!! He's gonna get rejected obviously?! Oh this is the worst day of his life!!
But then something shocking happens.. Mike gets on his knees carefully.. Will only looks at the way Mike gets up instead of his face, he doesn't want Mike to get hurt again
'Mike no carefu-' Will gets interrupted..
In a special way..
Mike leans over to Will, closes his eyes, rests his hand on Will's shoulder.. and kisses him.. Will is utterly so shocked-!? This isn't the worst day of his life- but the best..! He closes his eyes and holds Mike's back carefully.
Then Mike leans back to sit back down, Will looks at him like his crush just kissed him out of no where- which is exactly what just happened!!! But then there's a sudden panic in Mike's eyes and he asks worried
'Wait this is what you ment right-?!'
Will laughs as he tears up from happiness and relief, how could someone this amazing be this damn STUPID?!
'Yes Mike' Will chuckles with a cracked voice
'Oh thank god' Mike laughs from relieve
Will smiles at Mike, and Mike smirks back at him. Will never thought this day would ever actually come.. Mike, this idiot finally realized his feelings for him after all this time..!
Then suddenly they hear-
'MY DUDESS, WHERE ARE YOU MY DUDES?'
They hear familiar voices from their friends in the distance, they've been gone for too long is what they realized
'30 minutes or less' Will smirks at Mike
Mike chuckles
'30 minutes or less.'
'We're over here!!' Will shouts back
'..' no response for a while
'WHERE-?' Argyle shouts back
'OVER HERE' Mike yells back annoyed
Mike and Will get up, both still processing what just happened..- they see Argyle and Jonathan and they see Will and Mike too
'Jonathan said he thought you guys where making out, that's cool dude, I thought you had something with the super hero girl' Argyle says casually like it's nothing
'Dude-' Jonathan says and he shuts him up
'I did not say that.' Jonathan says
'..' Will and Mike don't answer, in fact they barely even looks at each other
'Uhm, we're leaving' Jonathan says
'What??' Mike asks confused
'Where are we going-?' Will asks
'The Wheeler's house my dude!! Jonathan's babe said there's no one home because they've got placed somewhere else by the super duper evil government people, really insane' Argyle says like he's talking about a comic book
'My house?!' Mike shouts
'And my parents got placed out the house?! Ánd Nance offered this?! This is insane?!' Mike shouts out loud
'Look it's decided, now we gotta go alright?'
Mike and Will don't protest anymore and follow Jonathan and Argyle back to the rest of the group.
