"you will be sharing a dorm with someone." He says to me looking as if he were worried I'd be upset.
"uhm okay... who ?" I ask confused.
"well almost everyone in Slytherin has a roommate..." He pauses "usually we pair you with the same gender... But both the genders have an uneven number with only 1 extra person... "
"Okay. . ."
"so as long as its okay with you..." He says looking at me "he already agreed but- you will be sharing a room with Mattheo"
"oh um okay, Thanks professor" I say, I thought he was going to tell me something more serious.
"no problem" he smiles.
I leave going to the dorm I was told. I run into someone causing them to drop their books.
He picks the books up immediately not looking at me.
"hey watch i-!" he looks up at me "hey..."
"hi" I say feeling bad about making him drop the books.
"where are you off to?" Mattheo asks me.
"Gryffindor common room"
"but aren't you in Slytherin?" He asks confused.
"yeah but I just wanted to visit Harry"
"oh okay then " he says readjusting his books. "see you in our dorm then." He winks.

"hey Bella"harry says as I walk over to where they were all sitting.
"hi" I say smiling to them all.
"where have u been?"
"Talking with Dumbledore."
"about?" Hermione asks concerned.
"just about my dorm" I say looking over at Ron lying on his bed as if he was dead. "What's wrong with him?"
"he just umm..." Hermione says stuttering "he's been hexed by some stupid ugly git!"
"Calm down Hermione." Harry said looking scared.
"you didn't take him to the hospital wing?" I ask concerned.
"we did, we just got back" Harry says looking back over to Ron.
Me and the golden trio talk for a while just catching up.
"I'm gonna go" I say Looking at the time,"its already really late."
"okay see you tomorrow" Hermione says as I turn on my heel.
Once I find the dorm number I knock quietly. Mattheo opens the door smiling.
"hello,come on in" he says grinning widly.
"hi"I look around seeing that one bed is already messed up. I put my suitcase on my bed the one That's still neat .
I look over at a hallway and find out our dorm has 2 bathrooms and a small living room along with a small kitchen.
"well goodnight " he says crawling into bed closing his curtains.
I put my suitcase on the ground and do the same.

After a few days me and Mattheo became pretty good friends. Its about a month since my first day and so far everything's great.
"Morning" I hear Mattheo say as I start to wake up.
"good morning" I say happily yawning. I sit up stretching. after countless seconds of me sitting there I finally decide to get out of bed.
I go in my closet and get dressed ( we have pretty big closets )
I pick out a casual shirt and jeans as its Saturday. I head down the great hall while Mattheo works on unfinished homework.
"hey Bella !" I turn around to see pansy (we're also friends)
"hi!"
We Walk down to the great hall talking about having a picnic with our friends.
"we should make them dress up!" I say laughing. Of course I was joking though.
"we need to make it a tea party then!" She laughs along with me.
We reach the great hall and tell everyone about our "fantastic" idea.
"I'll pass" Draco says simply.
"come on" Blaise says sarcastically "we can wear matching dresses!"
We all end up annoying Draco the rest of the time. Its really fun actually. That's my part time job when I'm not busy.
We go back to the common room sitting down getting ready to study as Mattheo is now with us.
"Hey Riddle!" Mattheo looks up at the owner of the voice.
"yeah?" Mattheo asks looking back down at his own book.
"can I borrow a book?" The boy says calmly.
"that's what the library is for ididot" he says sassily.(yeah Mattheo's is really sassy)
"its from the restricted section idiot" he says mockingly walking away embarrassed.
Riddle?!
Maybe he's just Tom Riddles friend, I think he graduated... But still... and... I don't know, speaking for him? nevermind.
(A/n: yeah I realize now this makes no sense but we're just gonna act like it does.)
He looks at me suspiciously then we go back to having a conversation with Blaise and Pansy.
"it's funny isn't it?" Blaise says smirking.
"what is?" Mattheo asks.
"you and Bella..."
"what about us?!" He asks eager for him to get to the point.
"A Potter and a Riddle!" He says smiling happily.
"What!?" We say together.
"yeah..." Blaise says confused. "I was just gonna say its kinda funny how you two are like best friends when Riddle's father here, killed your parents."
"your a Riddle!?" I ask him shocked
"your a Potter?!" He says looking kind of shocked but also really confused.
(A/n: yeah past Lili writing this, that's like the same thing.)
We both exchange disgusted looks at each other as I got up to go to my dorm to lie down.
I lie there thinking about the boy I was the closest with , the boy I used to have a crush on , the boy I trusted , the boy I told EVERYTHING! Was a Riddle.
(A/n: As I'm editing this I realise how rushed this is and sorry for that, I just didn't feel like going through their relationship at the time, I'm rewriting it soon though and I'll make sure to add more details and stuff.)
The killer of both my parents, the reason I'm living at my old friends house, now the Dursleys , the reason I couldn't have a decent childhood was all because of him. I felt tears fall down my cheeks, I felt absolutely horrible.
I trusted the boy who killed my parents! Well son of the man- but still my best friend was a Riddle.
Ugh Harry had warned me, he told me not to hang out with him! But my stupid self couldn't listen to my brother could it?
I here the door open then close as I here Mattheo crawl into bed. We didn't say anything for quite a while.
"so your a filthy Potter then ?" He asks sounding disgusted.
"so your a Riddle" I say a bit louder than he had.
"why didn't you tell me you were a Potter?!" He screams sitting up. "that way I would've known to stay away from you!"
"well you didn't think to tell me you were a Riddle did you?! " I say standing up from my bed.
"your seriously blaming this on me!?" We are both standing at this point breathing heavily.
"OF COURSE I'M BLAMING YOU! " I yell.
"WELL YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME YOU WERE A PART OF THAT FILTHY POTTER FAMILY!"
"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO YELL AT ME" I say stepping closer to him "YOUR THE SON OF MY PARENTS MURDERER!"
He looks taken aback.
"YOUR THE REASON I HAVE NO PARENTS" I say catching my breath as tears begin pouring down my face. "YOUR THE WHOLE REASON I DON'T HAVE A FAMILY! " I scream at the loudest I can.
"WELL YOUR THE REASON I DON'T HAVE ANY PARENTS EITHER" He yells at me furious "YOUR THE REASON I HAVE BEEN LIVING WITH MY BROTHER!"
"WELL AT LEAST YOU HAD A CHOICE!"
"YOU THINK I HAD A CHOICE?!" He yells again "I COULDN'T HAVE A NORMAL FUCKING CHILDHOOD!"
"I DIDN'T EITHER!" I scream opening the door "I CANT BELIEVE I TRUSTED YOU! MY BEST FRIEND!" I walk out of the room tears pouring down my face. I walk fast through the corridors rushing to get to Harry.
I make it to the Gryffindor dormitories I knock on Harry's door to find out that Harry and Ron were still up.
Harry opens the door as I hug him covered in tears.
He closes the door behind me as he tries to comfort me.
"he's a Riddle Harry!" I cry.
"shh its gonna be okay." He says letting me go while he leads me to the end of his bed allowing me to sit down.
"What's wrong?" Hermione asks as I control my breathing a bit.
"he's a Riddle." I say Staring at the ground. I said it so quiet I'd be surprised if they could make out the words.
"who is ?" Ron asks confused.
"Mattheo" says Hermione before I can answer.
"you knew!?" I say. I look up at her shock plastered on my face. I've had too many emotions today to feel another one.
I just want to go numb. Where I can't feel a single thing, where I can go about my day while people shout nasty remarks at me.
"yeah..." Harry says with her.
"well why didn't you tell me?" I say getting more loud this time,"Your the one who told me not to go around 'Riddle'! You didn't think about telling me his first name did you?!"
"well we were going to. . . "Hermione began.
"but you two got along so well" Harry continued.
"He killed our parents harry!" I say confused and angered.
"yeah but -" harry began
"BUT WHAT?" I interrupt."HE'S THEY SON OF OUR PARENTS FUCKING MURDERER! "
"I know and I should hav -"
"I trusted him" I say quietly a bit of a crack In my voice.
"I know..." Harry says.
That night me and the others stay up playing wizarding Chess as it was already late and they were doing that anyways.
