"Why'd you steal my cookie?" Bigb asked quietly.
"Yeah, why'd you steal his cookie?" Scott demanded.
Scar and Grian just laughed.
Scott looked worriedly down at the four people who were examining the obvious trap that Grian had set. Martyn started walking away, taking out his bow.
Jimmy got into the hole in the ground.
Jimmy, no!
He touched the minecart anyway.
BOOM.
Everyone on top of Bigb's hill flinched at the sound, and then Grian cheered at the top of his lungs. "YES!"
Four communicators buzzed at once, showing the death messages.
SolidarityGaming blew up
Renthedog blew up
Skizzleman blew up
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" Scott screamed.
"Oh my goodness," Bigb gasped.
"YES! YES! YES! YES!" Grian yelled.
"It worked!" Scar cheered.
Grian came back up the hill, still whooping.
"You're a monster," Scott moaned. "You're both monsters."
And then he saw it. If he had blinked, he would have missed it.
A flicker of light around Grian. Purple light...
Watcher light.
No. He isn't.
Watchers were known to be the ultimate pranksters. Grian was definitely a prankster.
"You're a monster," Scott said again, meaning it literally this time.
"You want to be next?" Grian taunted.
And the Watcher is threatening me with death.
I don't think Third Life is going to end well. For anyone.
