Y/n's POV
It was weird having Yoongi back in the apartment after many years. We're so much older now... cant say the same for our maturity. We had so much to catch up on.
It was late. Both Yoongi and I were awake while Jungkook dozed off on the couch.
"Can't sleep?" He asked me, pulling out the seat across from me to sit in.
I shook my head. "I have work to finish and you know I work better at night." I said.
"I know, you're just like I am." he grinned a similar smile that I've only seen in the mirror.
"Coffee?" I offered.
"Sure, but do you even know how I want mine?" He smirked.
"of course. how could I forget, your majesty." I said dramatically bowing.
I handed him the mug and he sipped it while making a face at me.
"it's good, but I could've done it better."
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Yoongs, Why've you decided to come back to suddenly?"
Finally I asked the burning question.
"you must really want me gone, huh?" he chuckled. "i'm on a break. Though, I am finishing a few music projects here and there and I decided to pay you a visit."
He paused and took another sip. "I thought you'd be lonely but i guess i was wrong." he said with a sarcastic tone, squinting at me.
"What about you, how've you been holding up lately?" he asked while stirring his coffee.
"well as you can see I have my hands full because of this one." I said motioning my hand towards the couch. "I've been going back and forth from working at the center and at home." I said exhausted.
He nodded understanding your struggles. "I see... but I have a question. Why is he here, free-loading in our apartment? Shouldn't he be with the others?"
I sighed at his question because even I don't have an exact answer to it.
"it's a really long story.." I said.
He patted my head, ruffling my hair a bit. "go ahead. i have time." he said with a strong certainty in his voice.
"so..."

".. and that's how he ended up living here.. I think we can both agree it's what was safest for him."
"wow.. yeah definitely. You sure have gone through a lot while I was gone.."
we sat in utter silence while sipping and stirring our coffees. Until a small grin creeps up on Yoongi's face, while he lets out a silent chuckle.
I watched as he leaned forward and flicked my forehead with his fingers."my innocent y/n. what am i going to do with you."
"Yah! What was that for??" I said rubbing my pained forehead. His flicks weren't soft either.
"Nothing. Your heart's just too good for this world." he smiled.
He got up and stretched a bit. "I'll be going to sleep now, goodnight y/n-ssi."
"goodnight!" I called out to him, down the hall.
A few moments passed before I realized something.
"That idiot didn't wash his mug..." I glared daggers at his door.

next morning
"ow my back hurtttts, it hurts so muchhhh" A voice whined this early in the morning.
"be quiet Kook, you're lucky we didn't make you sleep on the floor." I said pinching the bridge of my nose in annoyance while sipping my coffee.
"ooh! what's that! make one for me too, okay?"
"Kook this is coffee, it's more of something that tired adults need to wake up. you can't have this."
"why can't I? I'm an adult aren't I?" He said, getting closer to yoongi's mug and sniffing it.
"hardly... and I don't think you should have anymore caffeine." i giggled.
"yeah so beat it! You're shedding fur everywhere" Yoongi said while desperately trying to separate his coffee from the rabbit.
Y/n's POV
"Yoongi i need to go to work now."
"okay." he said not looking up from his phone.
"so can I leave Jungkook here with you?"
he nearly choked at that.
"y/n.. you are very funny, you know? Joking about me babysitting him haha."
"Yoongs i'm not joking." I said with a straight face.
I watched as he slowly inhaled and sighed deeply.
"y/n how do I put this simply.. If you leave even for 5 minutes, one of us won't be alive when you come back."
"come on Yoongs! do me a favor just this once?" I pleaded.
He let out a long sigh. "fine. I'll remember this day when you owe me something, ugly."
Yoongi's POV
"Thank you!" "And Jungkook be nice to him. He's family!"
he grinned her way and nodded with a stupid fake cute smile on his face.
As soon as the door shut the rabbit's smile fell.
He began looking me up and down and scoffed. "Can't believe you were still here when I woke up."
"how many times must I remind you, I bought this apartment for Y/n and I to live in, rabbit." His voice was already annoyingly ringing in my ears.
I looked at the time and sighed putting my headphones on.
I began playing my demo I made, listening for mistakes and things that could be improved.
I thought that would cancel out the sound of his whining... thought is the key word.
"Where's y/nnnnn~ she's never been gone this long without me! I wonder if she feels that same right now... Do you get sad when y/n leaves you for a long time?" he asked me.
what was up with this change in his persona? He really is just a really big child.
unfazed, I took one side of my headphones off my ear to respond.
"It's called a job, dimwit. It's something people work hard for to be successful in life. not that you rabbits would understand."
"You don't work. So I guess we're both unsuccessful in life." he smiled and put his arm around me consolingly.
"excuse you? I do work. I make music for a living matter fact. not a single person in the in the industry hasn't not heard of me."
"whatever dude." he said.
"you punk, I'm your hyung. Show some respect."
Jungkook's POV
"not this again." He sighed annoyedly at this similar scenario.
Family of hers, or not, as of now this dude means nothing to me.
"You know, you're awfully obedient when it comes to my sister huh?"
"was that supposed to be an insult? i'm busy looking good in her eyes here." I heckled.
"What now? do you happen to have ulterior motives with Y/n?" I couldn't help but grin at the reaction I got out of him.
"I have no clue what any of that meant." I shrugged.
"It means, whatever the fuck you're dreaming about, you better stop right now while i'm telling you."
I felt offended. Just what kind of hybrid did he think I was? And what does he know about what I was planning to do?
I snickered and thought of other possible ways to mess with him.
"Calm down calm down. Y/n and I are just two roommates... that occasionally do stuff."
I watched as his posture stiffened. His head whipped towards my direction. His gaze was piercing holes into me now.
His expression angered and his balled up fists were ready to strike.
"what did you say?" his jaw clenched.
"I-I was joking! It was a j-joke Hyung! haha..ha?"
Knowing deep down that I technically wasn't joking, but i don't want to die.
The swinging of his fists stopped and his face softened.
"so now i'm 'hyung' to you?" he questioned.
"o-of course you are! you've always been my precious hyung!"
He rolled his eyes and pushed me off the couch and onto the floor.
"ow! what the hell, man?" I said rubbing my head.
"bold of you to be joking with people you don't know... and no pets on the couch."
He said smirking at me this time.

Sorry again for the long wait. This chapter gave me massive writing block. I simply didn't know what direction I wanted to characters to go to lead to future events i have planned. I bet you can feel my frustration through this. Happy early birthday to me haha!!
