Honestly Mal kinda liked watching this movie, it gave her what she wanted, a chance for people in Auradon to see that maybe they had some good in them. But she knew that everything would get complicated again once people found out about the spell.
Jane: "Mom said, 'If a boy can't see the beauty within' then he's not worth it." Can you believe it? What world does she live in?"
Mal: "Auradon"
Evie: "Mal, do you like?"
Mal: "Yeah. It's cute. It brings out your eyes"
Evie: "I know"
"Hey Evie, have you ever thought about designing clothes and selling them?" Elena asked, because Evie has a good sense of style and she would definitely want a dress from her
"I have actually, and maybe now that we're staying in Auradon, I can start" Evie perked up at the idea of starting her own business
Jane: "I'll never get a boyfriend"
Mal: "Boyfriends are overrated"
"Still think that?" Ben said pouting at his girlfriend
"Yeah sorry" Mal joked pushing him away
Evie: "And how would you know, Mal? You've never had one"
Mal: "It's 'cause I don't need one, E. They're a waste of time"
"We were not dating yet, and you know you are my first boyfriend, so wipe that smug look off your face" Ben was smirking, knowing he was Mal's very first boyfriend, and he was really glad he was
Evie: "I forgot to do Chad's homework! Oh, no! Oh, no, no, no"
"I know I'm sorry" Chad apologizes knowing his parents are glaring at him
Mal: "And that is exactly what I mean"
Lonnie: "Hey, guys! I'm Lonnie. My mom's Mulan? No?"
"We knew who your mom was, everyone on the Isle does. She broke the biggest rule and joined the army to fight, and saved her country. Major respect" Jay definitely had respect for someone who broke all the rules and ended up saving hundreds of lives
"Thank you" Mulan blushes, liking that the kids on the Isle respected her
Lonnie: "Anyways, I love what you've done with Jane's hair. And I know you hate us, and, well, you're evil. But do you think you could do mine?"
Mal: "Why would I do that for you?"
Lonnie: "I'll pay you 50 dollars"
Evie: "Good answer"
"That is actually really cheap for a new haircut. Your hair does look really nice. So I guess using your allowance money was worth it" Mulan told her daughter, who was previously upset that Lonnie used her allowance for new hair
"Why didn't you just go to the salon?" Audrey asks clearly disapproving that Mal was using magic
"Mal was willing to give me a brand new hairstyle for 50 bucks, if I went to a salon I would've had to pay like 200. And not all of us have that kind of money to spend" Lonnie was a little annoyed at Audrey's attitude, not everyone was a princess with a bunch of money
Evie: "I need to buy more material. Let's see, I'm thinking, we lose the bangs, maybe some layers and some highlights"
Lonnie: "Yeah, yeah. I want it cool. Like Mal's"
Mal: "Really?"
Evie: "The split ends, too?"
"I meant it with love" Evie explains not wanting people to think she was insulting her best friend
"I know you did" Mal liked her hair the way it was
Mal: "Okay... Beware, forswear, replace the old with cool hair."
Evie: "I know. I know. It looks like a mop on your head. You know what? Let's cut it off, layer it..."
Lonnie: "No, no, no, no, no, no! I love it"
Evie: "You do?"
Lonnie: "It's just... Now I'm cool"
Mal: "Like ice"
Jane then follows Lonnie's lead and rips her dress.
Jane: "What did I just do? Mom's gonna kill me!"
"It's just a dress sweetie, but I wish you didn't rip it" Fairy Godmother likes seeing her daughter so confident, that doesn't mean she liked that Jane ripped her dress
"Mal...you seem to have a big influence on them already" Belle notices how quickly both girls didn't hesitate to rip their clothes
"I don't know why?" Mal doesn't know why people wanted to be friends with her, or act like her
"We just thought you were cool" Jane answers sheepishly
Jay and Coach were sitting on the bleachers going over the rule book.
Coach Jenkins: "I could really use a tough guy like you. The team's a bunch of princes, If you know what I mean"
Jay: "You're telling me. It's all, "after you, old chum." Oh, pardon me, did I bump into you?" Where I come from It's, "prepare to die, sucker!"
Chad shook his head, proving that he was right about Jay. He liked hurting people.
Jay: "As my father says, "the only way to win" is to make sure everyone else loses!"
Coach Jenkins: "Jay! Jay, Jay, Jay!"
Jay: "You rip..."
"I'm a little afraid of what you were going to say next" Aladdin really didn't want to know what his old enemy was teaching his son
Coach Jenkins: "Let me explain a team. Uh, It's like a family"
Jay: "You do not want to be at my house at dinner time"
"That's true. It can get ugly" Carlos remembers the last time he went over there
Coach Jenkins: "Okay, okay, um... You know how a body has a lot of different parts? The legs, elbows, ears. But they all need each other. Well, that's what a team is... different players who work together to win. Make any sense?"
Jay: "Can I be the fist?"
"Of course you want to be the fist" Mal and Evie laughed seeing the awkward expression on Coach's face
Jay walked into the girls room, showing off his jersey.
Jay: "Yo-ho-ho!"
"Nice job" Adam congratulates the boy, he heard about the last game and knew how well Jay did
Carlos: "Hey"
Jay: "Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand?"
"Well seeing as she is reading through her spell book, I doubt it actually worked" Kat couldn't help but roll her eyes at the dumb question Jay asked
Mal: "Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book, If I hadn't completely struck out?"
Carlos: "Oh, someone's in a bad mood"
Mal: "My mom's counting on me! I can't let her down!"
"You didn't have to flick me in the head" Carlos grumbles
Jay: "We can do this... If we stick together"
"Looks like Auradon is already changing you guys for the better" Ben smiled, liking that Jay was already understanding how a team worked
Mal: "And we won't go back until we do. Because we're rotten..."
All: "To the core"
Evie: "Oh, yeah. I found out that fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear, of course. What?"
"And you chose now to tell them and not before?" Elena asked noticing how Evie seems to not always have her priorities straight
"You could have said something earlier when I was looking though all the spells" At the time Mal was frustrated with the girl who withheld important information
"I was busy doing homework and sewing my new dress. And I told you eventually" Evie acted like it was no big deal
Mal: "Hold that thought"
Ben: "Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering If you had any questions or anything... That... you needed..."
"Ben please be more subtle" Aziz couldn't believe how obvious his friend was acting.
"It's cute watching him fall for her" Lonnie has never seen Ben so smitten, even when he was with Audrey
Mal: "Not that I know of"
Ben: "Okay. All right. Well, uh, If you need anything, just, uh..."
Mal: "Oh, wait! Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?"
Ben: "Yeah, the whole school goes"
Mal: "Wow. That is beyond exciting. Do you think that It's a possibility that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?"
"Oh no! Oh no" Evie covered her eyes realizing what was going to happen next
The boys shrunk in their seats, realizing what everyone was going to find out. Mal took her hand out of Ben's and she took his arm and moved it off of her shoulders.
Ben: "I wish you could. Up front It's just me, my folks, and my girlfriend"
Mal: "And your girlfriend?"
"What's about to happen?" Audrey asked wondering why they were talking about her on screen
Ben: "Yeah. I'm sorry"
Mal: "Okay. Thanks, bye"
Ben: "Oh, but, no, there's plenty of..."
The core four tried to move closer together and shifted down in their seats. This was not going to be good. Carlos hid his face in Dude's fur, while Jay had his arms around Evie. Mal was clutching Evie's hand, afraid of what everyone was about to find out.
"Guys what's wrong?" Ben asked them, and suddenly they felt everyone looking at them again, Mal really wished they wouldn't find out about this
She spelled the future king, and yeah he already knew about it, but that didn't make her feel better. People were going to be more upset about this than the wand. They may have chosen good now, but that won't excuse them for what they did in the past.
"You know exactly what's wrong" Mal answers sadly
"It's going to be okay" Ben tried to comfort her, but even he knew that it probably wouldn't
Well here goes nothing.
Mal: "I think It's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend. And I need a love spell"
