Chapter 22: I Like to Eat Meat
Even though Jiang Yu felt that this title was a little too intimate for her liking, she just decided to accept it as Jiang Cheng Lang was the big brother of this character.
The name ‘Xiao Yu’ was a little childish and she was also called ‘Big Sister’ in her past, it was just a name after all so it didn’t matter much.
“It’s getting late, let’s go downstairs for dinner.”
Jiang Cheng Lang asked, “Xiao Yu, do you have any dietary preferences? Tell me and I will let the chef know.”
“Celery, it’s disgusting.”
“What would you like to eat then?”
Jiang Yu thought for a while and said, “I like to eat meat.”
“Hmm…”
Jiang Cheng Lang looked her up and down, thinking that this little girl might just be growing or perhaps she was just having a craving.
She looked frail and thin. She did not look like the type to eat a lot of meat.
“Okay, chicken, pork or beef?”
“Anything is fine.”
Jiang Wan piped up, “Big Brother, I want to eat beef!”
As she spoke, she ran to Jiang Cheng Lang’s side and slipped her arm around his. “Big Brother, you must have been hard at work for the two weeks you were away. I can make out the dark circles under your eyes! Are you tired? Sit down and I will massage your shoulders.”
“There’s no need.”
“Why are you being so courteous with me? Big Brother, you love me so much and I must repay your affections.”
Jiang Wan leaned her head against Jiang Cheng Lang’s shoulder and rubbed against it affectionately.
She followed Jiang Cheng Lang downstairs and waited while he talked to the butler about tonight’s dinner. When he was done, she pulled him to a chair in the dining room and sat him down. She placed her two small hands on Jiang Cheng Lang’s shoulders and began to knead.
“Big Brother, is this alright?”
“Yes.”
“Then it was not in vain that I practiced while Big Brother was away on business. I was waiting for you to come back so that I could put these skills to good use.”
A smile appeared on Jiang Cheng Lang’s face. “Wan Wan really is a thoughtful girl.”
A smile bloomed across Jiang Wan’s face.
As she massaged Jiang Cheng Lang’s shoulders, she sneaked a peek at Jiang Yu through the corner of her eyes. Jiang Yu was not paying them any attention.
Jiang Yu was sitting on the sofa, busy looking at her phone.
Her fingers flew across the screen of her phone. No one knew what she was looking at but her expression was serious. She had had her face buried in her phone, completely engrossed in its contents.
Jiang Wan snorted under her breath.
Everyone knows that the phone was the fastest and easiest way to avoid embarrassment. Jiang Yu knew that she wouldn’t fit in so she used her phone to pretend that she didn’t care about what was going on around her.
Ha, she has been together with her big brother for so many years. How could an outsider like her hope to compare?
In reality though, Jiang Yu really did not care about what Jiang Wan was up to.
She was busy thinking of how to pay back Jiang Cheng Lang for his gift. Since it had been a gift, the price could not be too different. Otherwise, it would look like she was just taking advantage of him.
According to her own standards, the gift she gave has to be of equal value to what she had been given. So now, money was a problem.
She had just arrived in this world. It turns out that she could not bring her wealth with her. The owner of this body did not have much money to speak of. She only had 10,000 yuan to her name.
She was poor.
Fortunately, it was easy enough to earn some money.

Chapter 23: These People Are Too Weak
As expected, a sense of familiarity fell over her.
Jiang Yu quickly signed up and accepted the mission according to their rank rewards with quick ease.
The top ranked mission had been posted for over a month and the reward was 10 million. Jiang Yu left a message on the post.
“I accept the mission. Prepare the money within three days.”
It was likely that many people had tried this mission in the past month but had failed. They were probably keeping tabs on the post, waiting to see who could complete the mission.
Jiang Yu received many comments in almost an instant.
“Where did this rookie come from? He sure talks big.”
“Get a load of this kid. He must have just stumbled across this forum and signed up. He dares to accept the top ranked mission. How arrogant!”
“Hehe, he even said to prepare the money in three days? I think he’s preparing to just take the money and sell his account!”
“I bet rookies won’t even know how to do that. It wouldn’t be easy for them to even find this place. If they don’t do anything worthwhile, how could they leave?”
“Wait, I will hack his address right now…”
“F*ck! Brat! I could not hack it! My computer is infected with a virus instead!”

Jiang Yu was bored as she threw viruses at the people who commented on her post.
True hackers could use more than just their computers. Any communication tool could become a weapon in their hands.
After throwing the virus, Jiang Yu became bored.
These people are really weak.
“Big Sister, what are you doing?”
Jiang Wan watched as Jiang Yu’s fingers flew across the screen, blocking out its contents. She could only see that the screen was filled with words.
“It’s nothing.”
Jiang Yu put her phone away and asked, “Has dinner been served?”
She sniffed the air and sat down at the dining table.
Jiang Yu’s eyes sparkled as she looked at the dishes laid out on the table. They were all meat dishes. She liked that very much.
Jiang Wan gritted her teeth. She did not manage to get the answer she wanted.
Jiang Yu must be planning something behind her back and did not want to let her know about it.
She would never let Jiang Yu get away with whatever she was planning. Never!

At the dining table.
Jiang Cheng Lang watched as Jiang Yu polished off her first bowl of rice and was quickly going through her second bowl. She has almost reached the bottom of the plate of meat in front of her.
Jiang Cheng Lang was dumbfounded. He clicked his tongue.
This little girl sure has a good appetite…
She did not slobber over her food though. On the contrary, she held the bowl close and sat up straight. Her mouth bulged as she chewed, like a little hamster.
She was quite cute.
“Big Brother, try this. It’s very delicious.”
Jiang Wan picked up a morself and placed it in Jiang Cheng Lang’s bowl. She asked, “Big Brother, why aren’t you eating?”
Jiang Cheng Lang snapped back to his senses and said, “I was thinking about something.”
“Big Brother, don’t daydream while you are eating,” Jiang Wan chided. “Hurry up and eat before the dishes get cold.”
Jiang Yu didn’t offer him any dishes as she was too busy eating.
Jiang Cheng Lang lowered his head and thought to himself, ‘I have to ask the kitchen to prepare more dishes tomorrow. Otherwise, this little girl surely will not have enough to eat.’
It was so strange that this little girl could eat so much and still remain so skinny.
Jiang Wan looked on in disgust. How long has it been since she last ate? Was it because she had starved while living with her adoptive family?
When the dishes were almost clean, Jiang Cheng Lang put down his bowl and chopsticks.

Jiang Yu nodded in acknowledgement. She had just been informed by Jiang Ze Yu this morning after all.
