Chapter 10: Men and Women Shouldn’t Sit So Close
Everything happened so fast that no one had time to react.
Jiang Yu pulled back her hand and gestured to Lu Yu Huan. “You’re no match for me. You should not test me anymore.”
She said it lightly but Lu Yu Huan sensed a hint of warning from her tone.
Her body trembled. She was truly perplexed. This Jiang Yu had easily thrown the biggest bully in the school over her shoulders?
Jiang Ze Yu laid on the ground, still a little confused as to what had just happened.
Jiang Yu had just used him to show off to these girls. That was why she had been happy to see him?
He was just a pawn in her little game.
Song Bi clicked his tongue nervously. He didn’t dare look back.
Yesterday, he was kicked by his sister. Today, he got thrown by her.
It sure was a cruel world to live in.
“I understand.” Lu Yu Huan said with a stony expression. After seeing the school bully end up in such a miserable state, she didn’t know if the school bully could even stand up to her.
“You don’t believe me?” Jiang Yu muttered under her breath, as though deep in her own thoughts. “You’re right, that was a little too easy…”
She lowered her head and looked at the ground towards Jiang Ze Yu, trying to determine which part she would have to hurt to make it more convincing.
Lu Yu Huan’s expression changed. “I believe you, I believe you. I completely believe you. We will not come for you again. I promise!”
This has to be a joke. If Young Master Yu were to be hurt again, would he blame them for it?
Although Young Master Yu did not hit women, his lackeys certainly have no qualms about it.
Lu Yu Huan led the group of girls away quickly, as if someone was chasing after them.
After that was settled, Jiang Yu looked at the time. She had been delayed by a few minutes. She hoped the canteen still had meat.
She clasped her hands together and walked past Jiang Ze Yu, continuing to walk towards the canteen. Jiang Ze Yu, feeling ignored, shouted out angrily, “Song Bi! What are you looking at?! Hurry up and help me!”
Song Bi hurried over and helped Jiang Ze Yu up on his feet. He looked in the direction which Jiang Yu had just gone and asked in a low voice, “Brother Yu, are we still going to the canteen?”
“Yes! Why wouldn’t we?! Don’t you want to eat?”‘Jiang Ze Yu slapped him across the head. “Let’s hurry up and leave!”
Song Bi cursed in his heart.
He wanted to ask, ‘Brother Yu, don’t you usually eat outside the school? Since when have you been going to the canteen?’

Upon arriving at the canteen, Jiang Yu entered the queue in front of the counter to order her food. Spotting a sign at the window of the counter, saying per person was only allowed one drumstick, she wrinkled her nose.
How was she supposed to be full on only one drumstick?
Jiang Yu’s reaction was noticed by Jiang Ze Yu who stood at the back of the line. After ordering his food, he left without waiting for Song Bi and the others.
Song Bi looked around the canteen in confusion before spotting Jiang Ze Yu.
He was sitting opposite of Jiang Yu.
Song Bi’s head was full of questions.
His little sister had kicked him and thrown him across the room and yet Brother Yu was not angry at her? In fact, he was trying to get close to her?
What was happening?
What was this sudden show of affection for his little sister?
He carried his tray over to Jiang Ze Yu and sat down. The boys behind him also sat down one by one. Just as one of the boys was about to sit next to Jiang Yu, Jiang Ze Yu raised his eyes and glared at him.
“You can’t sit there. Get out of my sight!”
“Brother Yu, there are no other seats.”
“Then you can sit at the next table.” Jiang Ze Yu scoffed. “Men and women shouldn’t sit so close. Don’t be so stupid.”
The boys: “???”
Then what would happen when boys and girls have to sit together in a group during class? Should they be thrown into pig cages and drowned in the river like back in the old days when men and women were found to be intimate out of wedlock?
He did not dare disobey Jiang Ze Yu though. He quietly sat down at the next table with another boy.
Chapter 11: This Brother Yu Is an Imposter
Jiang Yu did not care about what happened around her.
Back in her own world, although a loner by nature, she was the central pillar of her own friend group and was always being praised by everyone around her. She was used to being surrounded by people all the time and did not find it strange.
Jiang Ze Yu watched as she slowly nibbled on her piece of drumstick. Without a word, he dropped his drumstick onto her plate.
Jiang Yu looked puzzled.
“I don’t like drumsticks. Take it,” Jiang Ze Yu explained himself. “I have not taken a bite so it’s clean.”
Jiang Yu blinked. “Thank you.”
Jiang Ze Yu turned around and said haughtily, “I was just trying to not let it go to waste.”
Song Bi was confused.
Brother Yu, if you don’t like chicken drumsticks, then why did you order this dish?
Jiang Yu did not bother to question this any further though. An extra chicken drumstick had just appeared on her plate. Her eyes lit up and she began to eat faster.
Jiang Ze Yu kept quiet and just smiled.
Jiang Yu got through her first drumstick. Just as she was about to start on the second one, a thought struck her and she said, “Since you don’t like chicken drumsticks, how about I pay you for it starting tomorrow? How about twice the price?”
Jiang Ze Yu did not react, Jiang Yu thought he might not agree. She said, “Three times the price is fine. Just name your price.”
Jiang Ze Yu asked, “You mean to say, you want to have lunch with me again tomorrow?”
The question was a little odd but it was unfounded.
Jiang Yu nodded. “I guess so.”
“That settles it then,” Jiang Ze Yu said in a cheerful tone. “It’s just a chicken drumstick. It does not cost much, take it as a gift from me. You don’t have to pay for it.”
Song Bi: ‘Has Brother Yu lost his mind?’
Why is he being so nice to her?
Song Bi was not alone in this thought, all the boys sitting at the table were thinking the same thing. They looked like they had seen a miracle or a ghost.
This Brother Yu is an imposter, right?
“No, I don’t like to owe people.” frowned Jiang Yu. “Just treat this like an exchange, I will return the favor in the future.”
Jiang Ze Yu did not take Jiang Yu’s words seriously. After all, what could a little girl like her do?
When he looked into her eyes though, he was touched by how serious she looked.
A sudden irrational thought suddenly popped into his head.
He wanted to hear Jiang Yu call him ‘Big Brother’.
“Brother Yu,” Song Bi said as he pointed at Jiang Ze Yu as if he were a new continent he had discovered. “Why is your face all red?”
“Shut up!” Jiang Ze Yu touched his face and insisted, “There must be something wrong with your eyes!”
“But… Your ears are also red…”
Jiang Ze Yu, “Get lost!”

After lunch, Jiang Yu walked in front of Jiang Ze Yu, who was being followed from behind by the large group of boys.
Jiang Ze Yu noticed that Jiang Yu was heading towards the school gate instead of back to their class building. “Are you going out?”
“Yes, I need to get some medicine.”
“Medicine? Are you sick?”
Jiang Ze Yu seemed to be in perfect health. She was so strong that she had thrown him over her shoulder.
Jiang Yu was silent.
Jiang Ze Yu asked again, “Do you know where the pharmacy is?”
Jiang Yu fished her phone out. “I can look it up.”
Jiang Ze Yu looked at the address of the Chinese Pharmacy that appeared on her phone screen. It was quite a distance away from the school. He frowned, “It’s so far away. How were you planning to get there?”
“By taxi.”
“It’s dangerous for a girl to go out on her own. There are many cheats and liars out there. How would you know if the taxi driver is a good person or not?” Jiang Ze Yu dismissed her idea.
He sighed. “Ah, forget it. I have nothing to do now anyways. I will take you there.”
Chapter 12: Unsuccessful In Holding His Sister’s Hand
Song Bi: ‘What is happening here?’
“Come along. I have a ride,” Jiang Ze Yu led Jiang Yu to the parking lot near the school’s gate.
There were small parking spots within the lot. A flashy red motorcycle was parked there. It stood out from all the other bikes around it.
Jiang Ze Yu exclaimed proudly, “Check out my ride. Isn’t it awesome?”
Jiang Yu glanced at his head of red hair and nodded in agreement. “Indeed, it suits you very well.”
“Of course, everything here is of top quality. I sourced and installed them myself!” Jiang Ze Yu boasted. He grabbed his helmet off his bike and suddenly remembered that he did not own a second helmet.
“Song Bi, do you have a lady’s helmet? Bring it over.”
“Brother Yu, you…” Song Bi said hesitantly, “You never allow anyone to ride with you...”
Jiang Ze Yu kicked him. “If I tell you to get it, go get it. Stop talking crap!”
Song Bi pulled a long face and walked towards his own bike. The helmet he brought was pink, perfect for a young lady.
Jiang Ze Yu handed the helmet to Jiang Yu. “Put it on and follow your big brother. This brother of yours is about to bring you for a ride of a lifetime!”
Jiang Ze Yu was used to talking this way to the people around him. He always referred to himself as everyone’s brother so he did not think there was anything wrong in what he just said. Song Bi’s eyebrows twitched with concern.
“Brother Yu…” Song Bi couldn’t help but ask, “With your… Riding skills… Won’t you scare the little miss?”
Brother Yu’s riding skills are earth-shattering. He was well known as the king of the racetrack. Even if Song Bi had started earlier than Brother Yu, he would still end up eating dirt at the end of the race.
“I can drive a little slower,” Jiang Ze Yu rolled his eyes. “What’s wrong with you? You’re spouting a lot of nonsense today.”
Song Bi cursed in his heart: ‘Brother Yu, you’ve been the one acting weird today! You’ve been following this girl around, going to the canteen, wanting to send her to the pharmacy, even letting her ride with you!’
Brother Yu was very protective over his bike. He wouldn’t let anyone touch it, let alone sit in the back seat!
Today though, he invited this little girl to ride with him!
Song Bi was filled with jealous envy. He replied, “I was just asking. It’s of no importance.”
Jiang Ze Yu turned around and said, “Little Sister Jiang Yu, this helmet can be difficult. Let me help you put it on…”
Before he could finish his sentence though, he saw that Jiang Yu had already strapped the helmet on. She looked impatient. Even without a word, Song Bi could read her expression clear as day: ‘Are you guys done yapping away yet?’
Song Bi fell silent and Jiang Ze Yu shoved him aside.
Jiang Ze Yu straddled his bike and turned around to help Jiang Yu on. He offered his hand to her, in hopes that he would be able to hold his little sister’s hand. Jiang Yu instead braced herself with one arm on the seat and hoisted herself up and over the bike.
Jiang Yu, “Are we leaving yet?”
Jiang Ze Yu withdrew his hand regretfully and started the bike. He then told Song Bi and the rest, “You guys entertain yourselves. I am leaving now.”
Then, he left with Jiang Yu.
Song Bi stood rooted to the spot for a long time, breathing in the cloud of exhaust fumes left by Jiang Ze Yu’s bike. Suddenly, a realization hit him!
Did Brother Yu… Have a sister complex?
…
Riding through the streets, over the whistling of the wind, Jiang Ze Yu said to his sister kindly, “You can hold onto me if you get scared.”
He was hinting at her quite obviously, he was even giving her permission to hold him!
Come closer, dear sister!
