It is now the next day, and Lena is waking up and feeling more relaxed than she has felt in the last few days. The reason for this, is as cliché as it sounds, Lena always sleeps better when Kara is in the bed next to her. Lena doesn't really know what the biological reason for it is, but when she is snuggling with Kara, she feels absolutely wonderful. However, saying that Lena actually had the best sleep in the last few days isn't actually that big of a thing to say, because she hasn't been sleeping much anyway. For Kara's side of things, she feels exactly the same, as the bed just has felt empty without Lena laying there next to her. The blonde is so glad that her future wife is home now.
Lena slowly opens her eyes, as she wakes, and once she does, she sees that Kara is already awake, looking at her with a loving smile on her face, but not in a creepy way or anything.
"Morning..." Lena says, with a little yawn.
"Morning." Kara replies, and then takes Lena in for a kiss.
"Hmmmm.... How long have you been awake?" Lena asks, as she pulls away from her kiss with Kara.
"Only a few minutes." Kara replies, "I just woke up when I noticed your heartbeat changing from how it sounds when you are asleep, to how it sounds when you are about to wake up."
After hearing Kara say that, Lena feels so touched. The fact that Kara can somehow hear her heartbeat while she is asleep, and wake up from it, is incredible, and it makes Lena feel wonderful, and so loved by Kara.
"I love you." Lena says to Kara.
"I love you too." Kara replies, with a loving smile.
Lena then takes Kara in for another kiss, and this kiss lasts a bit longer than the other one. However, eventually Lena pulls back, because as much as she would love to spend all day in bed with Kara, kissing her, the brunette knows she has to go to work today.
"Okay.... I need to get up now." Lena says, with some regret in her voice.
"Owww." Kara pouts, with a big lip.
Lena chuckles, and places a quick kiss on one of Kara's cheeks.
"I'm sorry, darling." Lena says, "But I do really have to go to L-Corp today. I think if I don't, Sam might either quit, or kill me."
Kara now chuckles upon hearing that.
"Yeah, okay. That's fair enough." Kara nods, "Alex did mention how much work Sam had while you were gone."
Lena nods her head back at Kara.
"Which is exactly why I can't let her continue to do all that work, and run my company for me." Lena says.
"Okay." Kara replies, with a small smile.
Lena and Kara then both get out of bed, with the CEO grabbing her phone to check for any emails or texts she needs to answer, as she does every morning.
"Alright. I'm going to head into the shower now, if that's okay?" Lena says.
"Sure." Kara smiles, "I'll go wake Alura and make her breakfast."
Kara then makes a move to leave the bedroom.
"Uhhh.... Kara?" Lena calls out.
"Yeah?" Kara replies, turning back around.
"Aren't you forgetting about Morgan?" Lena says.
"Oh Rao! Morgan! I completely forgot!" Kara says.
Lena now chuckles.
"That's okay." Lena replies, "I'm sure it will take a bit of an adjustment for myself, you, and even Alura, to get used to Morgan being here, for however long she'll be staying with us."
"Yeah." Kara nods back, "What.... are we going to do with Morgan today?"
"Well.... we obviously will need to sort out her whole school situation, but it's Friday today, so that can wait until next week." Lena says, "But as for today, I don't think it will be a good idea for her to come into L-Corp with me, because I won't be able to be with her for most of the day, because I have a lot of meetings. So, can you take care of her?"
"Uhhh.... Yeah." Kara nods, "Actually, I'll just work from home today. I don't physically need to be at CatCo for any meetings or anything today, so I'll give Jess a call to let her know I'll be working from here. That way Morgan can just stay here with me all day, and maybe we can go for a little walk or something during lunch?"
"That sounds lovely, darling." Lena smiles, "Now, I'm just going to hop into the shower. You go wake the kids."
"Sure." Kara nods.
Lena then proceeds to walk into the bathroom while Kara leaves the bedroom and heads for Alura's room first. Kara pokes her head in Alura's room, but as soon as she does, she sees that Alura is nowhere to be found.
"Alura?" Kara calls out, as she walks further inside the room.
Kara gets no response, and walks into Alura's bathroom to check to see if the 5-year-old is there, but she isn't. After this, Kara assumes that maybe Alura got up early or something, and has gone downstairs, which she knows would be strange, but she doesn't want to panic just yet.
Once Kara determines Alura is not in her bedroom, she decides to walk across the hall and head inside the bedroom Morgan is sleeping in, and as soon as she does this, Kara's heart soars. Kara's heart soars because the sight she sees before her is Alura and Morgan sleeping in the same bed, cuddled with one another, fast asleep. In fact, the sight is so incredible that Kara quickly heads back into her and Lena's bedroom to grab her phone, and take a photo, so that Lena can see it later.
A couple of minutes later, when Kara is done admiring the sight, she walks further into the bedroom, and takes a seat on the edge of the bed, next to Alura.
"Girls, it's time to wake up." Kara says in a soft voice, as she strokes Alura's side.
Neither Alura or Morgan wake up, at first, but as Kara slowly continues to stroke Alura's side, the 5-year-old soon begins to wake, which in turn causes Morgan to wake up, due to Alura's movements.
"Morning, girls." Kara smiles.
"Morning, mommy." Alura smiles back, shifting away from Morgan and taking Kara in for a sleepy hug.
Morgan, for her part, doesn't say anything, she just looks at Kara with a nervous look on her face. Kara simply puts it down to Morgan being new to being around her and everything.
"So, why are you two sleeping in the same bed? What happened?" Kara asks, with a soft smile on her face.
"I promise, I didn't mean to do it." Morgan quickly says, with a worried look on her face.
"Mean to do what?" Kara asks, confused.
"It's okay, Morgan." Alura says, turning to look at the 4-year-old, before turning back to look at Kara, "Morgan was sleep walking last night. I saw her do it when I went to get up to do a wee. So, I helped her back to bed, but as I did, she woke up, and told me she was scared, and doesn't like when she sleepwalks. So, I stayed with her, and we went to sleep together."
"Oh, okay." Kara nods.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sleep walk." Morgan says, still in a worried voice.
"Hey." Kara says, in a soft voice, walking over to the other side of the bed, and sitting next to Morgan, "It's okay. That's not your fault. It's not even something you would be told off over or anything. Everything's fine, Morgan. I'm just glad Alura stayed with you."
"Me too." Morgan nods back, while glancing at Alura.
Kara can't help but grow a very big smile on her face upon hearing that.
"Anyway, you both need to get up now." Kara says, "Alura, you have school today, so we need to get you ready. Then Morgan, as we haven't got everything situated with you yet, you are going to be spending the day with me here, while I work from home."
"What about Lena?" Morgan asks, curiously.
"She's going into work. But you'll be able to see her in a bit, once she gets out of the shower." Kara says.
"Okay." Morgan nods.
"Now, would you two like some pancakes for breakfast?" Kara asks, with a smile.
"YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!" Alura replies, excitedly, "PANCAKES ARE THE BEST!"
Kara chuckles.
"Morgan?" Kara asks.
"I've never had pancakes." Morgan admits.
"Oh, well, I guess you will get to try them today." Kara smiles, "I'm sure you'll like them. But if you don't, there are a bunch of other things you can have for breakfast."
"Okay, thank you, Kara." Morgan smiles.
"Of course. Now, how about you two go to the toilet, and then come downstairs?" Kara suggests.
"Yes." Alura nods, "Come on, Morgan."
Alura grabs Morgan's hand, and tugs her out of the bed, leading her into the bathroom attached to the bedroom. Once more, Kara really can't help but smile very widely at how well Alura has taken to Morgan, even if Morgan is still a tad shy around all of them, including Alura.
Kara then leaves the bedroom and makes her way downstairs, where she begins to get everything ready so they can make the pancakes for breakfast. About 2 minutes later, Kara is joined by Alura and Morgan.
"Mommy, can we help?" Alura asks, in a sweet voice.
"Of course you can." Kara smiles.
Kara grabs two chairs for both Morgan and Alura to stand on, either side of her, so they each have a view on the top of the kitchen counter.
"Okay, Morgan. I've already put everything in this bowl to make the pancakes. We just need to mix it all up now. Can you do that?" Kara asks.
"Yes." Morgan nods.
"And Alura, I want you to put all the pancake toppings into separate bowls, and place them on the table." Kara says.
"Okay, mommy." Alura replies, with a smile.
Alura and Morgan then both go about their assigned tasks, with Kara helping each of the two children when needed. Eventually though, Morgan finishes mixing the pancake batter, and Kara begins to cook the pancakes, with both Morgan and Alura watching on with eager looks on their faces.
Eventually, about 5 minutes later, Kara finishes making the pancakes, and towers them up onto a plate. It is in this moment that Lena joins the group.
"Morning, girls." Lena smiles.
"Momma!" Alura says, quickly jumping off of her stool and going over to Lena, taking her in for a hug.
"Hello, darling." Lena smiles, and leans down to place a kiss on the top of Alura's head.
"Mommy made us pancakes!" Alura says, with a big smile.
"I see that." Lena smiles back, before turning to look at Morgan, "And how are you today, Morgan?"
"I'm fine." Morgan says, in a slightly timid voice.
"That's good." Lena smiles back.
"Lee, you have to see a picture I took. It was sooooo cute!" Kara says, pulling out her phone, "Morgan and Alura were sleeping in Morgan's bed together, look."
Lena looks at the phone and her eyes go wide, with the CEO growing a big smile on her face.
"OH MY!" Lena smiles, widely.
"Apparently Morgan sleepwalked, and Alura found her and helped her into bed, and then stayed with her because Morgan was scared." Kara explains.
"Oh, there's my good girl." Lena smiles, looking at Alura.
"Come on. Let's eat our pancakes before they all get cold." Kara says.
Lena, Kara, Alura and Morgan all then make their way over to the kitchen table, with Alura and Morgan taking seats next to each other, with Kara sitting at the head of the table, and Lena opposite Morgan.
"Alright, here you go, Morgan." Kara smiles, as she places a few pancakes on Morgan's plate. "You can just try a small bit of one of these pancakes to see if you like it. Then, if you do, and if you want to, you can choose any of these toppings you like to put on them. And if you are unsure which toppings you do or don't like, you can always try them out and see."
"Okay. Thank you, Kara." Morgan smiles.
"You're very welcome." Kara smiles back.
Breakfast then continues on from there, with Morgan enjoying the pancakes very much, and even being brave enough to try out a few of the toppings. Kara and Lena are both just happy that Morgan is coming out of her shell a little bit, and know that Alura is a very big part of that.
"Alura, there is actually something mommy and I wanted to talk to you about." Lena says, as they all continue to eat their breakfast.
"Yeah?" Alura replies, with a mouth full of food, which makes Lena roll her eyes.
"Mommy and I know that it's your birthday next weekend, and we wanted to let you know that we are thinking about it, and are not just focused on our wedding." Lena says.
"Yeah, and momma and I thought that seeing as we could just invite people over to have a party here anytime, we would do something special." Kara says.
"ARE WE GOING TO DISNEY?!" Alura asks, excitedly.
Lena and Kara both chuckle upon hearing that.
"No. We thought that we could do a bunch of fun activities of your choice." Lena says, "We could go to the arcade, or go bowling, or go to a petting zoo, or go to a museum, or do a bunch of other different stuff. But one thing that we are going to do, is end your birthday by us all going horse riding together."
"OOoooooo. Okay." Alura nods, eagerly, "So, do I get to choose?"
"Yes. It's your birthday after all." Lena says.
Alura nods her head.
"Can Morgan come?" Alura asks.
"Uhhhh.... well..... we don't know if Morgan will still be here with us.... But if she is, then of course she can." Lena smiles.
"Would you like to come to my birthday, Morgan?" Alura asks, sweetly.
"Yes, please." Morgan smiles back.
Kara and Lena, once more, smile very widely at the interaction between Morgan and Lena.

Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location somewhere in South America, Lillian Luthor is continuing her efforts to undermine Leviathan, while also continuing to build up trust and contacts within the organisation itself. Through working on the latter, Lillian has actually found out that there are quite a few different Leviathan members that are unhappy with Talia's leadership. In fact, Lillian has even heard that some of the top people in Leviathan itself believe that Talia is stuck in her old ways, and hasn't evolved as time has progressed. Needless to say, Lillian has found this all very interesting.
Right now, thanks to Lillian gaining a lot more trust with several members of Leviathan, both that have been working with her in South America, and some others who she has been in contact with, who are working throughout the world, Lillian is going over a bunch of different Leviathan files. The files themselves mostly contain information into Leviathan's history, and a large amount of things that the organisation has done throughout their existence in human history. For instance, Lillian has already found out that the vela incident in 1979 was because of Leviathan, and they were indirectly responsible for the assassination of two US presidents, Kennedy and Warren Harding. Then, in more ancient history, while Leviathan didn't cause the eruption of Mt Vesuvius, they did play a big part in the destruction of Pompeii, as well as being the catalyst that led to the assassination of Julius Caesar. They have been there all along, in various different ways, through many forms. In fact, they have had such a large impact on history, that even Lillian is starting to become very intimidated by the mountain she plans to tackle. However, nothing will throw Lillian off her goal, as her will is iron-clad, as she's doing this to keep her daughter safe. This might be the most selfless thing Lillian has ever done, as well as the final one.
One file, however, that Lillian has come across today, is about some of Leviathan's more recent activities, that have taken place over the last few years. In this file, it explains that one of the things Leviathan has been doing lately is luring aliens to Earth, in the false promise of giving them a better life, when in actuality, once the aliens land on Earth, Leviathan either forces them to work for them, enslaves them, or kills them. In fact, in the files themselves there are hundreds of names of different aliens, all of whom Leviathan has used in some manner or other. One that catches Lillian's eye though, because it is the most recent entry from 4 months ago, is about an alien family of Zerrikanians. Apparently, Leviathan lured the Zerrikanian family to Earth, and upon arrival there was a family of three, including two parents, and a young 4-year-old daughter. But things soon turned sour after this. Leviathan attempted to recruit the aliens into their organisation, but that didn't work, so they turned to more forceful means, but the aliens fought back, killing a few Leviathan agents. Eventually, in this fight, the Leviathan agents ended up killing the aliens, all apart from the 4-year-old girl, who had escaped in the midst of the fight. Leviathan did try and search for the girl, but they came up with nothing, and ultimately called off their search because they didn't see the 4-year-old of being of much use, or any threat to them.
"Mrs Luthor?" One of the Leviathan agents who works with Lillian says, as she walks into the room that the Luthor matriarch is currently in.
"Yes?" Lillian replies.
"Can I talk with you about something?" The Leviathan member asks.
"Of course." Lillian replies, with a slightly curious look on her face.
The Leviathan member then closes the door to the room, before walking inside, and taking a seat facing Lillian.
"So, what did you wish to discuss?" Lillian asks, "Is there something about your current assignment that you need clarification over?"
"No I uhhh....... I wanted to talk to you because...... all of us here.... at Leviathan..... know that.... we are heading for a battle with Supergirl, and her team..... However.... there are a growing number of us who.... don't think that is the right course." The Leviathan agent explains, "There are now several Leviathan people who think that Talia is getting to obsessed with gaining more power, and taking out anyone who gets in her way..... and that.... a fight with Supergirl.... even if we win..... would be very costly for Leviathan."
"Okay...." Lillian nods, in a confused voice, "But why are you telling me this?"
"Because..... we have seen how you have done your work here.... in South America.... And other Leviathan agents back in the headquarters have taken note too..... You have done things in a way where.... you haven't had to have anyone killed to get your/Leviathan's way..... and.... that has made things a lot easier.... and run a lot more smoothly." The Leviathan agent says.
"Yes..... but I still don't get why you are telling me this." Lillian says.
"Because..... we think that Talia might actually respect and listen to your opinion.... If you tell her a battle with Supergirl would be foolish. Those of us who think this already, while we are growing in numbers, are not in a position to tell such a thing to Talia without facing repercussions. So, maybe you could?" The Leviathan agent suggest.
After the Leviathan agent says that Lillian simply looks at the woman for a few moments, trying to figure out if this is some form of test. Eventually, after about a minute or so, Lillian decides that she believes the Leviathan agent is being genuine.
"Look, while I may agree with some of what you have said..... I cannot risk saying such a thing to Talia.... Talia may have taken note of me..... but I am under no delusions that I am just as..... disposable... as almost every other Leviathan agent.... So sorry.... I can't do that." Lillian says.
The Leviathan agent sighs after Lillian says that.
"Okay. I understand." The Leviathan agent says, and then stands up from the chair she was sitting on, "But you should know.... there are many of us within Leviathan who are taking note of what you have done here."
"Thank you." Lillian nods.
Lillian then carefully watches as the Leviathan agent leaves the room, leaving the Luthor matriarch alone once more.
"Well, that was interesting." Lillian hums to herself, and then gets lost in a few thoughts that come to her mind.

Currently Kara and Morgan are just getting back to the penthouse after dropping Alura off at school for the day. So far, the arrangement that Kara has agreed with Lena for today, is that the CEO will finish work early today, at least in her office, and will then go and pick Alura up from school, and come back to the penthouse. After that, if Lena still has work, she will do it from home, but if not, the family, and Morgan, will just spend some time together. Both Kara and Lena thought this would be a good thing for Morgan, to experience some family normalcy, and Lena would very much like to spend some more time with the alien girl too.
"Alright." Kara says, as she and Morgan walk back into the penthouse, "So, I've got work to do today, so I won't be able to spend time talking with your or anything. But if you do need anything, you can come and see me. I'll only be on my laptop, and may have a few phone calls that I'll make. So, how about I turn the TV on, and you can watch a film or something? And I'll also get you some of Alura's coloring books for you to use to entertain yourself too."
"Yes, okay. Thank you." Morgan says, with a small smile.
Kara then proceeds to spend the next 10 minutes getting Morgan everything she needs, and putting on a random Disney movie on the TV, which the blonde can tell Morgan is already enthralled with. After that, Kara gives Morgan a glass of water, before heading upstairs to her and Lena's shared office, and beginning her work day on her laptop.
Kara continues to work, doing some research into an article she wants to write, while also reviewing some of the cub reporters' articles, for about 2 hours. In all this time, Morgan doesn't make a peep. However, that comes to an end when Kara notices the 4-year-old standing in the doorway to the office, with an anxious look on her face.
"Oh, hey, Morgan." Kara smiles, "Is something the matter?"
"I.... I'm sorry.... I broke the TV.... I didn't mean to...." Morgan says, with a worried look on her face.
"What do you mean you broke the TV?" Kara asks, as she stands up from her chair and walks over to Morgan.
"The... the movie ended.... and.... I didn't know how to stop it.... I pressed the buttons on the remote... like you showed me.... but the TV broke." Morgan says.
"Oh, I'm sure you didn't break it." Kara says, with a small smile, "Let's go see."
"Okay." Morgan nods, biting her lip nervously.
Kara and Morgan then head back downstairs, and enter the living room. Once they do, Kara confirms that Morgan did not break the TV. Instead, upon Morgan pressing a bunch of the buttons on the remote, she put it on standby mode, which Kara had to spend a good couple of minutes to figure out how to get the TV out of, and then Morgan also changed a bunch of the picture settings.
"See, everything is fine." Kara says, with a smile, once she fixes everything.
"Oh, that's good." Morgan nods.
Kara then looks at Morgan for a few seconds, giving her a sympathetic look. Kara knows that Morgan is in a tough position, and honestly, she doesn't even know much about her, or what happened when she got to Earth and everything. However, Kara thinks that those questions will be better left for another day, when Lena's around to support her.
"Come here." Kara says, as she takes a seat on one of the couches.
Morgan slowly, and anxiously, takes a seat next to Kara on the couch.
"I want you to know, Morgan, that you don't need to worry about getting into trouble with me or Lena. You didn't break the TV, but even if you had, we would have known it was an accident, and it could easily be replaced." Kara says, with a soft smile, "I know that a lot of this is really scary for you, and probably very overwhelming, but we are not going to get angry and yell at you or anything. The only way we'd be angry at you, is if you hurt someone on purpose, which I know you wouldn't do."
"I wouldn't." Morgan says, "I don't want to hurt anyone."
"I know, honey." Kara says, "So, while you are here, you can try and stop worrying about things. You are safe here, and no one is going to yell or be mean to you about anything."
After Kara says that, Morgan simply looks at the blonde for a few moments, before slowly nodding her head.
"Okay." Morgan says.
"Good." Kara smiles back.
There is then a brief silence between Morgan and Kara, as they sit next to each other on the couch.
"Kara?" Morgan eventually says.
"Yeah?" Kara replies.
"Can I have a hug?" Morgan asks, in such a sweet voice.
Kara's heart literally feels like it's about to break by the fact that Morgan had to ask for a hug, which clearly suggests to the blonde that the alien girl has been lacking them recently.
"Of course you can. Come here." Kara says, opening her arms.
Morgan then moves towards Kara, and allows herself to be taken in for a hug, with the alien girl with purple eyes resting her head on Kara's chest. Meanwhile, as Kara hugs Morgan, she can feel her heart beginning to beat faster, because she is beginning to realise how easily it will be to fall completely in love with Morgan.
