I wanted her but yet again she found a new guy who is worse than the last. He had shown up last night. I wasn't sure how much time had passed but he had his hands all over her. I watched him strip her down to nothing. His hands were in her hair. Her body was pressed against his. This was going to kill me.
It was dark out. The sun set hours ago, he appeared sometime after that. He rang the door bell, his fingers steady, no nurve or stress on his face. He held his head high. She came to the door in a towel. He looked her up and down like the big bad wolf. He licked his lips and walked in. After the door closed I went up my tree and into the attic window. It was my window now. I lived there. It was more mine than hers. I went through the window and down the stairs. They were old and creaky but once I memorized all the spots not to step I can get down them just fine. I made my way to the partly closed bedroom door.
I could see them. I could see them kissing on her bed. I wanted everything to stop.
