"Hello Katherine." Stefan said as we entered Ric's apartment
"2 days I've been waiting, I'm supposed to be free of Theo's compulsion by now. they're supposed to be dead." she remarked
"we ran into complications" he replied keeping it short
"complications?" Katherine asked not comprehending
"doesn't really matter we just need to find them. do you have any idea where they might be?" Stefan asked then Katherine slammed him against the wall leaving me in the middle as the door opened
"oh great, thanks Katherine." I hissed under my breath knowing she could hear me
"what a surprise." Klaus said to me as Theo and Elijah trailed behind him
"Is it really, Klaus?" I asked slightly tilting my head
"what are you doing here?" Elijah asked stepping towards
"you know since I'm such a kind friend," I began "uh- Alaric! he asked me if I could go to apartment to get a few things, you know this apartment you people took over." I said as I made it up on the spot, I laughed awkwardly, looking around basically begging for either Katherine or Stefan to join in
"he asked me to come get some of his clothes?" I said walking over to the closet and yanking clothes out
"Klaus you back, look who decided to come for a visit." Katherine finally decided to talk
"You just keep popping up, don't you?" Theo said I immediately rolled my eyes already annoyed by his presence
"I need your help, for my brother." Stefan said
"well whatever it is, he's gonna have to wait a tick. You see I have an obligation to my brother, I it requires my immediate attention." Klaus said walking past both Stefan and I
"you understand how important family is or you wouldn't be here. My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own." Elijah reasoned with Stefan
"and so I shall." Klaus said standing behind Elijah, making him turn around as Klaus daggered him. We all watched Elijah dedicate on the floor.
Klaus then slammed Stefan against the wall "Stefan!" I yelled towards her
"I would do that." I turned seeing Theo grabbing my arm pulling me back
Klaus then proceed to stab Stefan near his heart "no! okay, stop just one favor, please?" I asked Klaus then looked at Theo basically begging him to agree, he the loosened the grip a little turning to Klaus
"okay let's hear them out." he said making me relax a little
"but then where's the fun in that?" Klaus said with a smirk pushing the stake further in. Theo super sped next to them pushing Klaus out the way then taking the stake out of Stefan
"witches said you guys have a cure, make me a deal, just give me the cure. and I'll do whatever you guys want." Stefan begged
"never-mind, this all yours brother I'm not the one with history." Theo said excusing himself as he poured himself a drink
"trouble is I don't know if you'd be any good to me, the way you are now, you are useless." Klaus said pouring himself a cup of blood
"okay how about you, you two are basically the same person, don't you also have the cure?" I said looking at Theo
"I want whatever Klaus wants." Theo said plainly "or in other words i just don't care." he whispered
"what are you his lap dog?" I said in a bitchy tone "oh I got the dog part right" he quickly stood in front of me, towering over me because of our height differences
"what do you think should be done Nik?" he said asking Klaus not taking his eyes off me. I straightened up keeping eye contact, refusing to show any fear which i was full of.
"you know, I heard about this one vampire crazy, bloke, always on and off the wagon for decades, when he was off he was magnificent. 1917 he went into Monterey and wiped out an entire migrant village. a true ripper. sound familiar?" Klaus told him, my head quickly snapped over to him, stepping back from Theo
"I haven't been that way in a very long time." Stefan said
"well that's the vampire I can make a deal with. that is the kind of talent that I can use when I leave this town. Katerina, come here." Klaus said asking for her hand his face changed and he then sunk his fangs into her wrist
"ah! ah! no. no." she panicked Klaus then bit his own wrist feeding her his blood
"you want your cure? there it is." He said
"your blood is the cure." Stefan stated
"gotta love Mother Nature, now let's talk, you and I." He said leading him to the kitchen
"hey can we talk." Theo asked me holding my arm
"no, my best friend is dying right now I don't have time to make small talk." I said yanking my arm out of his grip and heading towards Stefan
"there it is. you want to save your brother? How about a decade-long blender? and I have big plans for you. when we leave this town." Klaus planned out
"I'm not like that anymore." Stefan asked
"well that's too bad. you would've made a hell of a wingman." Klaus said dumping his blood in the sink
"wait." Stefan stopped him
"now that's more like it, I want you to join us for a drink." He said sliding over a blood bag towards Stefan
"no, Stefan you don't have to do this!" I yelled as the all lifted they're drinks
"finish it. all of it." Klaus said seeing that Stefan only took a sip
"you do everything I say, and I save your brother that's the deal." he told him. Stefan quickly finished the blood bag. Klaus the grabbed another
"again." He said
"Stefan." I said worried about him
Stefan was currently down about a dozen blood bags "okay, that's enough. he did what you asked." I pointed out
"he's very cooperative. It's almost as if he enjoying it." he told me handing Stefan another one as I looked at Theo who hasn't taken his eyes off me
"no more. not until you give me the cure." Stefan said gaining my attention
"not until we make a deal. It's your choice Stefan. You can either remain here living your life in Mystic Falls, or you can embrace what you truly are. Leave town with us and save your brothers life." He said offering the blood bag, Stefan quickly took it
"that's the spirit. Theodore please." He said pointing at Katherine
"ok, Katherine take this over to Damon and come right back." Theo said compelling her
"you want me to leave?" she asked him
"no!" Stefan and I both yelled at the same times
"yes and if I were you- id hurry." Theo said watching her leave
"no! she'll never take it to him." I yelled desperately as Klaus just shrugged
"so did Katerina make it in time?" Theo asked
"you won't be seeing her again, you know." Stefan told them both
"yeah because she's on vervain." Theo said like it was the most obvious thing in the world "we've been around a long time Stefan, we rarely get played for a fool." Theo told Stefan
"besides she won't get far, you'll help see to that." Klaus said making Stefan
"what is it you really want from me?" Stefan asked him
"all will be explained in time once we leave this tragic little town." Klaus said
"then are we done here? can we go?" Stefan asked
"not quite." Klaus stated
"you see i have a gift for you. Come here sweetheart, don't be afraid. see I wanna make sure you honor our deal, that you'll be of use to me." he said biting into the innocent girls neck "I could have compelled her to behave, but a real ripper enjoys the hunt." he continued letting her run as Stefan super sped in front of her and drained her blood instantly killing her, i let out a huge gasp at what I was seeing
"calm down love, don't be afraid." Klaus told me caressing my hair
"you told that girl the same thing look how she turned out." I hissed at him
"Theo take her home, then we can leave." Klaus said
"no Stefan I not leaving you alone with them. Stefan!" I cried but i was no use Stefan was looking at me as if i was next prey. Stefan tried going towards but even before I could react he was thrown against the opposite wall
"not her. Come on." Theo said snatching me away from us reach
"goodbye Stefan." I said sadly looking at him
Theo took me home "you didn't have to follow me home." I said walking into my room
"I didn't want you to get kidnapped." he shrugged innocently
"well you did have to follow me into my room." I stated
"yeah well-" he began "yeah, I have no reason." he said not making sense
"Sleep." He said compelling me in which I did sense I wasn't on vervain
3RD PERSON !
Theo laid her on her bed taking off her shoes, then placing a blanket over her. he kneeled down next to her pushing some hairs out of face.
"I'm so sorry, I can't stand the thought of you not talking to me, not even sending a glance in my direction. I swear I didn't know your aunt was the vampire being sacrificed until after the whole thing, I never wanted to hurt you. I'm sorry." he said placing a kiss on her forehead
Theo then stayed a little longer looking around her room finding a necklace and one bracelet. He noticed that the necklace was her vervain necklace so he went over and carefully put it on her. He then grabbed the bracelet he had grabbed earlier and put it on himself, looking at it for a moment the leaving though her window.
