Chapter 59
No One POV
Keenan is now in Sunnyshore city along with Project Mew as to him it was sorta awkward and yet interesting that he spent a day with Project Mew as their ship/lab thing is a lot bigger then he thought as it pretty much has everything like a living room area multiple showers and of course bedrooms, as Keenan had spent some time with Danika.
Amaranth:so Keenan what do you think of our ship impressive isn't it.he asked him
Keenan:yeah you could say that got me wondering how much is one like this it can be quite useful for whenever I go places.he asked him
Amaranth:well let's just say that it's expensive this is actually one of the older models there's the newer ones but those ones are even more expensive then this one.he said back to him
Keenan:hmm I see.he said out loud
Keenan:*thinks to himself*need to ask Mr.McKenzie about this I wonder if he has anybody that can make me one although I doubt that he will...right.he thought to himself
Danika:this is your final gym battle right and you'll be eligible for the Sinnoh league right.she asked him
Keenan:*nods*yes and I already have a Pokémon team picked out for this specific battle.he said back to her
Amaranth:I heard Volkner is part of the Ultra class in the World Coronation Series this battle certainly won't be easy that's for sure.he said back to him
Keenan:yeah but I'm still going to win I watched a few of his battles online and i have a pretty good strategy against him, but I guess I'll see you guys later.he said back to him
As with that he started to make his way toward the gym as he's not wasting anytime to get his 8th and final gym badge as he's watched a few of his battles online although it was mostly Ultra class battles but Keenan does have a way to counter most of Volkner's battling style the thing is he just doesn't know how much Pokémon they'll use.
Quillon:think he can win and get his final gym badge.he asked out loud
Danika:*raises an eyebrow*you have seen what kind of Pokémon he has right I'm sure he's got this In the bag.she said back to him
Quillon:*shrugs*well he did told me he doesn't really like using his stronger Pokémon since he wants his other Pokémon to have a chance so I doubt he'll use any of his stronger ones except maybe one.he said back to her
Amaranth:right how about we use this time to think of new trial missions for the Project Mew participants and also look at new possible candidates.he suggested to them
Which of course they agreed to since both Quillon and Danika are somewhat interested in one of them as it's Keenan's friend/rival Tatsumi as he has filled out an application using his Rotom phone since Keenan had helped him out.
Small Timeskip
Keenan POV
I finally made it to the final gym in the Sinnoh region and when I win this battle I'll be eligible to enter the Sinnoh league and battle Riley which is by far the only person that I'm looking forward to battling as he is most likely going to be the only threat at the league but we'll find out sooner or later.
When I was walking toward the battlefield I seen Volkner standing in the middle of the crowded stands as I started to look around at the crowd as I started get a bit nervous but I just ignored that feeling since if I'm going to be entering the Sinnoh league I might as well get used to it. It was until Volkner had noticed him.
Volkner:*raises an eyebrow*oh and who are you, I'm here to presume that your here for a gym battle since I didn't get an Ultra class notification.he asked me which I nodded
Me:*nods*yes I am.i responded
Volkner:excellent I never had a decent gym battle in a while aside from that Riley person he sure was strong, but it's nice to meet you I'm Volkner and I'm the gym leader of Sunnyshore city.he introduced himself as he stuck out his hand
Me:*shakes his hand*and my name is Keenan and I'm from Vermilion city in Kanto and I do plan on entering the Sinnoh league.i introduced myself
Volkner:from Kanto huh never had a challenger from Kanto not since this one person named Ritchie.he said back to me
Me:*surprised as I think to myself*wait Ritchie I almost forgot his ass existed so he's challenging the Sinnoh league or he already challenged it.i thought to myself
Volkner:anyways shall we get the battle started I'm sure the crowd will love to see a good one.he asked me
Me:*chuckles*of course I wouldn't have it any other way.i replied back to him
As with that me and him had gotten on either side of the battlefield as the battlefield is larger then most gyms in Sinnoh which is understanding since Volkner is the strongest gym leader in the entire region as some of his Pokémon are Elite Four level just need to be prepared if he does use any of his Elite Four level Pokémon.
Ref:*raises her flags*this will be a 5 vs 5 Pokémon battle as the winner will be decided when either side have no more Pokémon to use, in addition only the challenger is allowed to substitute Pokémon.she announced as I'm surprised
Me:*surprised*whoa a 5 vs 5 might as well make it a dam full battle at this point.i said out in surprise
Volkner:*grins*I would make it a full 6 vs 6 battle but the League officials said to me that 5 vs 5 is the limit and plus I think that you trainers should be prepared to use a full team of Pokémon in the league.he said back to me
Me:*grins*well I for one request a full 6 vs 6 battle then how does that sound.i said back to him
When I said that Volkner stood there with a slight shock expression on his face even his ref as she looked at me as if I'm crazy but she lightly chucked at it as even the crowd was shocked for a while but started to cheer loudly until Volkner started to laugh.
Volkner:*laughs*hahaha man I never encountered a trainer like you but I guess the League officials can't really say anything if the challenger asked for it now can they.he said back to me
Me:that's exactly why I said that and plus like you said, I need to prepare for the Sinnoh league when I get into the higher rounds so might as well start with the strongest gym leader here in Sinnoh.i said back to him
Volkner:*smirks*alright fine I accept a full 6 vs 6 battle, you know I'm getting quite excited.he said back to me
As the ref had once again rose her flags.
Ref:this will be a full 6 vs 6 battle on request of the challenger, the same rules still apply such as only the challenger is allowed to substitute Pokémon in addition the use of Mega Evolution,Z-Moves and Gigantamax is available.she announced
Me:*thinks to myself*I see so does that mean Volkner has a Pokémon that can Mega Evolve not much Pokémon that come to mind to be honest.i thought to myself
Ref:trainers please send out your first Pokémon.she announced
Volkner:I'll choose first, go Rotom.as he tossed his first Pokémon
As the ball had released Volkner's first choice of Pokémon as it was a Rotom which is the same Pokémon that's in Keenan's special phone but it's in its fan version which makes it part flying type.
Keenan:so his first choice is Rotom fan form.he said as he brought his Rotom phone
Keenan's Rotom Phone:Rotom Fan form the Plasma Pokémon a Electric and Flying type. In this form, Rotom applies its new power over wind to its love of pranks. It will happily blow away any important documents it can find. Its gusts of wind blow its opponents away! The machine stated
Keenan:sounds like a pain in the ass if you have it around papers, but luckily I'm not around papers.as he grabbed his first choice
Keenan:*throws a ball*alright Dubwool let's go.as he tossed out his first Pokémon
His first Pokémon had appeared as it started to shake its head ready to charge into something as Volkner had rose an eyebrow at the choice of Pokémon but didn't really think much of it but he is interested in the choice he made but it also means he can use ghost type moves on it.
But the same also applies to Dubwool since he can't really use Normal type moves but Keenan has a plan for that.
Ref:*raises her flags*Dubwool vs Rotom let the battle begin.she announced
Volkner:you may have the first move since your the challenger.he said to him
Keenan:I'll gladly take the first move Dubwool use Cotton Guard.he commanded
As Dubwool had gotten a small green glow around him as cotton's started to surround him giving him a boost in defense as Volkner rose an eyebrow at that but didn't let it bother him.
Volkner:Rotom use Air Slash now.he commanded it
Keenan:dodge it Dubwool.he commanded him
Rotom's fan had started to spin faster it gotten a small glow to it as it launched out blades of wind that made its way toward Dubwool which had successfully dodged most of the blades but gotten hit by 2 of them as he took some damage.
Volkner:keep it up Rotom now use Electro Ball.he commanded it
Keenan:take the hit.he told him
Volkner:*raises an eyebrow*what why would he tell it to take the hit unless he's got a plan.he said to himself
Rotom had then launched the ball of electricity as it hurled its way toward Dubwool as he just stood there tanking the hit which made contact and an explosion as everyone in the arena had gotten a bit tense to see what happened next.
But to everyone's surprise Dubwool came out of it with no damage done to him at all as he looked more ready to fight then anything as Volkner was also a bit surprised.
Volkner:*a bit surprised*huh it took that attack head on and didn't take any damage that's odd.he said to himself
Keenan:it's Dubwool's ability.he said out loud which caught his attention
Volkner:it's ability so your telling me it's ability is able to tank attacks head on and not take damage.he asked him
Keenan:well not necessarily only certain attacks If your wondering, but it's ability is called Bulletproof. It is not affected with ball and bomb type moves like Aura Sphere,Electro Ball,Shadow Ball,Gyro Ball and well you get the idea.he said back to him
Volkner:quite impressive Keenan so you used a Pokémon that not only I can't use Ghost type moves up against but not even Electro Ball your smart.he said back to him
Keenan:that maybe so but I also can't use attacks on you because Normal type moves won't do a thing to it but that doesn't mean I still can't dish out damage now use Bounce.he commanded him
Volkner:quick Rotom use Protect.he commanded it
Keenan:go below and jump Dubwool.he told him
Both Pokémon had carried out their orders as Dubwool had started to run below Rotom while Rotom had created a protective barrier in front of it and faced Dubwool which had finally jumped up toward Rotom but it did something shocking, as Dubwool had used Rotom's barrier that he created to jump even higher as a boost to its attack as he was higher into the air.
Keenan:good now dive down using Charging Dive.he commanded him
Volkner:*his eyes widens*quick Rotom get out of there.he quickly said to it
It was too late as Dubwool had came hurling down covered in blue electricity as it was using both Bounce and Wild Charge all in one attack as Volkner was a bit impressed by it, as Dubwool had slammed right into Rotom as it was sent flying toward the ground dealing some damage, which Dubwool also took some damage because of the recoil.
Volkner had decided to use this as an opportunity to do some major damage to Dubwool in which he gave Rotom yet another command.
Volkner:Rotom use Discharge do as much damage as you can.he commanded him
Keenan:try and endure it Dubwool.he told him
As Dubwool had stood its ground taking the powerful electric type attack head on as it he was gritting his teeth withstanding the attack until the attack had wore off as Dubwool is seen smoking a bit from that attack.
Volkner:that Dubwool is done for now Rotom use Air Slash.he commanded him as Keenan smirked
Keenan:*smirks*now Dubwool use Payback.he commanded him which made Volkner's eyes widens
Volkner:*his eyes widens*wait what.he cried out in surprise as he wasn't expecting that at all
Dubwool had gotten a dark glow to him as he shot out a beam of dark purple energy which struck Rotom as it's eyes had widened in surprise from the attack until it started to fall toward the battlefield as it was now unable to battle thanks to the swirls in its eyes.
Ref:*raises her flag*Rotom is unable to battle Dubwool wins, gym leader please send out your next Pokémon.she announced as everyone in the stands were impressed by it
Volkner:*returns Rotom*you did well Rotom return and get some rest.he said to it as he got sucked back into its ball
Keenan:*returns Dubwool*return Dubwool you deserve a rest for that, you did well for your first official battle.he said as he returned his Pokémon as well
Volkner:I must say Keenan that was quite impressive and also quite risky what you did back there.he said to him
Keenan:yeah I knew that was risky but I had to do it since it was part of the plan that I had to defeat your Rotom, and well if it didn't worked then i would've just used a different Pokémon.he replied back to him
Volkner:*smiles*it's been a while since I've gotten challenged by a trainer that has guts like you I like it.he said back to him
Keenan:*lightly smiles*why thank you I take that as a compliment.he said back to him
Volkner:*grins*let's see you handle this Pokémon go Raichu.he said as he threw out his next Pokémon
As Volkner's next Pokémon had appeared onto the battlefield as its cheeks had sparked with electricity ready for battle as Keenan has battled up against Ash's Pikachu in the past before and he knows that his Pikachu is worst then his Raichu so he isn't too concerned but still is keeping his guard up.
Keenan had seen his Raichu in action before and although it's strong it's still not like Ash's Pikachu.
Keenan:in that case I'll use this Pokémon Golem let's go.as he threw out his 2nd Pokémon
Keenan's Golem had appeared onto the field as she's ready to battle as Volkner had expected him to use a Ground/Rock type Pokémon agaisnt him since pretty much most trainers he's battled up had brought those typings and well he does have counters for them.
Volkner:I expected that you'd bring a Ground type with you just like every other challenger.he said to himself as Keenan noticed that he's calm
Ref:*throws down her flags*Golem vs Raichu battle begin.she announced
Volkner:this time I'll take the first move, Raichu use Iron Tail.he commanded him
Keenan:counter it Golem with Mega Punch.he commanded her
Both Pokémon had carried out their orders as Raichu's tail has gotten a metallic glow to it as he jumped up into the air and did a front flip aiming his tail toward Golem, in which Golem's left fist has gotten covered with white energy as he thrusted his arm forward as the 2 attacks had clashed with one another which resulted in a tie.
Keenan:use Flamethrower now.he quickly commanded her
Volkner:use Light Screen.he called out
Keenan:dam should've expected he'd know at least a shield type of move.he said to himself
Golem's Flamthrower had gotten blocked by the psychic barrier that Raichu reducing the damage by half as Raichu did took damage but not that much damage.
Keenan:well alright then use Stone Edge Golem.he called out to her
Volkner:Brick Break Raichu.he commanded him
As Raichu had used its speed to quickly appear in front of Golem as she was a bit surprised by the sudden appearance as Raichu's glowing fist had slammed right onto the top of her head as she cried out in pain as she stumbled back a bit feeling that attack.
Keenan:are you alright Golem.he asked her as she stomped her foot angrily as a response
Keenan:*chuckles*atta girl you gotten hit with more powerful attacks, although that did still do some damage be sure to keep your guard up.he said to her as she nodded
Volkner:*smirks*I think it's time we play one of our strategies Raichu use Rain Dance.he commanded him as Keenan narrowed his eyes
Keenan:*narrows his eyes*crap this can't be good.he said to himself
Raichu had let out a loud cry as rain clouds had appeared above the battlefield as the rain drops and started to fall onto the battlefield soaking everyone on it as Golem is looking up not knowing what to do in this situation and well Keenan is being extra cautious since Volkner can use any electric type attack and it'll do damage to Golem.
Keenan:I figured that your Raichu would know Rain Dance.he said back to him
Volkner:this is just the beginning of my battling style, now Raichu use Dig.he commanded him
Keenan:don't let it go underground use Stone Edge Golem.he commanded her
As they gave their Pokémon commands as Raichu had almost instantly disappeared underground since the ground is more soft now thanks to the rain as Golem's attack had missed because it was too slow, as now both her and Keenan are watching the battlefield closely.
Keenan:*thinks to himself*thanks to the battlefield being softer Raichu had dug underground faster as well, what a pain in the ass but this can also be used as a perfect opportunity to do some damage to it.he thought to himself
Just then Raichu had burst from underneath Golem as he strucked her underneath her as she cried out in pain as she was sent a few feet back from the attack as Golem had took some damage from the attack as Raichu had landed back onto its side of the battlefield.
Keenan:in that case Golem use Rock Polish.he commanded her
Volkner:Raichu use Thunder.he commanded him
Keenan:*grits his teeth*well crap this isn't good.he said to himself
As Raichu's cheeks had sparked with electricity and unleashed the powerful arch of lightning toward Golem who took the attack head on as she cried out in pain as the rain had only amplified the attack as Golem had lost her footing and fell backwards as she has swirls in her eyes.
Ref:*raises her flag*Golem is unable to battle Raichu wins, challenger please send out your next Pokémon.she announced
Keenan:*returns Golem*return Golem you fought hard out there.he said as she got sucked into the ball
Volkner:*pets Raichu*you did well out there Raichu ready to continue battling.he said as he rubbed against his hand
Keenan:I see that you decided to just knock out Golem by taking advantage of that Rain Dance I was waiting for that to happen.he said back to him
Volkner:yeah and I couldn't let that happen anymore I needed to get rid of that Golem one way or another.he said back to him
Keenan:*throws out a ball*well let's see what you've got to Hydreigon.he said as he threw out his next Pokémon
Keenan's newly evolved Hydreigon had appeared onto the battlefield as he let out a loud roar announcing his arrival as Keenan spent a few times training him to get ahold of his new body and power and Keenan thinks that he's ready to be finally used in battle, as Hydreigon had floated down a bit waiting for the battle to start.
Volkner:a Hydreigon huh haven't battled one in a while and yours is larger then a regular one and looks strong.he commented while looking at him
Keenan:well Hydreigon is one of my strongest Pokémon so it's to be expected.he replied to him
Volkner:right in that case Raichu use Focus Blast.he commanded him
Keenan:dodge it Hydreigon.he commanded him
Hydreigon had dodged the yellow sphere of energy as he stared down at Raichu who was also glaring back at it as Keenan had called out to Hydreigon.
Keenan:now use Fire Blast,Dark Pulse and Dragon Pulse.he commanded him which shocked Volkner
Volkner:*his eyes widens*what it can use those 3 moves at the same time.he said out loud in shock
As Hydreigon had charged up those attacks in each of his heads and launched the attack toward Raichu which didn't know what to do with those 3 attacks coming after him as he took the powerful attacks head on which made an explosion upon contact.
The smoke and dust had started to clear up which shown that Raichu is unable to battle as he has swirls in his eyes.
Ref:*raises her flags*Raichu is unable to battle Hydreigon wins, gym leader pleas e send out your next Pokémon.she announced as the crowd had cheered
Volkner:*returns Raichu*return Raichu you did well out there now get some rest.he said to him
Keenan:*looks at Hydreigon*your getting a hang of using 3 attacks at the same time but still a bit sloppy we'll work on it more before the Sinnoh league.he said as Hydreigon had nodded
Volkner:*chuckles*color me impressed I wasn't expecting your Hydreigon to use those 3 moves at the same time it was a first for me that's for sure.he said back to him
Keenan:well might as well put use to his 3 heads if he can use 3 attacks at once then it's better for us, but he can also use one attack but with more power because of its 2 other heads.he responded to him
Volkner:*lightly smiles*you sure are an interesting trainer Keenan I'm starting to get excited.as he tossed his next Pokémon out onto the field
Keenan had rose an eyebrow at the Pokémon that he's using as he hadn't seen him use this Pokémon before not in the anime or in the World Coronation Series battles that he's watched a few times as this Pokémon was Galvantula.
Keenan hasn't battled up against a Galvantula before so this is a new experience for him.
Keenan:I haven't seen you use that Pokémon before is it new.he asked him
Volkner:yeah you could say that she's kinda new but she's quite powerful and i'd like to see what she's got.he said back to him
Keenan:*thinks to himself*need to be careful with this one who knows what kind of strategy he came up for it.he thought to himself
Ref:*throws down her flag*Galvantula vs Hydreigon battle begin.she announced
Keenan:Hydreigon use Dark Pulse now.he commanded him
Volkner:block that attack with Electro Web.he commanded her
The 2 Pokémon had carried out their commands as Hydreigon had launched the 3 chains of dark energy toward Galvantula which also amplified the power of the attack as Galvantula had spat out a web of electricity blocking the attack which made an explosion in the air as their vision was temporary blocked.
Volkner:now use Electro Web again make yourself a web Galvantula.he commanded her
Keenan:*narrows his eyes*just what is he planning on doing now.he said to himself
As Galvantula had started to shoot out multiple webs of electricity up into the air as it connected to the ceilings and the walls as she jumped onto them not taking any damage as Keenan's eyes had widened as he realizes what he was doing. He was limiting Hydreigon's flying space and not to mention if he does fly into those webs then he'll get electrocuted.
Keenan:*looks at him*so that's your plan huh your limiting Hydreigon's flying space by setting up Electro Web like that.he said to him
Volkner:*smirks*yup we've spent some time working on it as your the ver first person to witness this and battle up against my Galvantula.he replied to him
Keenan:*chuckles*that sure is clever I'll admit, but that won't stop use Hydreigon use Steel Wing.he commanded him
Volkner:use Cross Poison.he commanded her
Hydreigon roared out into the sky as his wings has gotten a metal shine to them and flew toward Galvantula who was also hitting the Electro Web's that's been set up there as he was taking damage but just ignored it as thanks to Steel Wing it was absorbing most of the attack and electricity.
As Galvantula had launched an X shaped attack toward Hydreigon as it was dark purple in color as Hydreigon had dodged it at the last possible second which made Galvantula's eyes widened in surprise, as Hydreigon had slammed into her as she cried out in pain.
Volkner:quick land on another those webs.he called out to her
Keenan:don't let it happen use Dragon Pulse Hydreigon.he quickly called out to him
Volkner:use Agility.he said to her
Galvantula had landed onto one of the web's as she gotten surrounded with a small glow to her and seemingly disappeared from eyesight as Hydreigon's attack had completely missed as Galvantula was to fast to be kept up as Hydreigon was trying to keep up with her movements but it was too fast.
As Keenan was both surprised and impressed at Volkner's strategy as he's using Galvantula's webbing as another place to set foot for her and not be affected by her own attack and also acts as some kind of protection against his opponents Pokémon if their not electric or ground types.
Keenan:*looks at him*your strategy is quite remarkable using Galvantula's webbing as not only a place for she can stay and freely move around but also act as land mines if a Pokémon comes in contact with them.he praised him
Volkner:why thank you I take pride in the strategies that I come up with so hearing that from a fellow challenger makes me happy that the training has paid off.he said back to him
Keenan:but there's one thing that my Hydreigon hates and that's not being able to hit his target it'll only make him angrier now use Dragon Rush and charge through those webs.he commanded him
Volkner:*his eyes slightly widens*quick Galvantula use Thunderbolt.he quickly commanded her
But it was to late as Hydreigon had let out a roar as he gotten surrounded with draconian energy and charged right through the electric webs like it was nothing completely ignoring the pain as he has gotten angry at the fact that he couldn't land any hits onto his opponents which only filed his attack to be stronger then usual. While Galvantula had unleashed its Thunderbolt attack which connected with Hydreigon's attack but he once again pushed through the attack as he appeared right in front of Galvantula roaring angrily.
And slammed right into her sending her straight into the ground of the battlefield which made a cloud of dust and a small shockwave as Volkner had called out to her as Hydreigon had flew out of the cloud of dust a bit tired of what he just did, as Galvantula is seen unable to battle.
Ref:*raises her flags*Galvantula is unable to battle Hydreigon wins, gym leader please send out your next Pokémon.she announced and the crowd cheered at the end result of the battle
Volkner:*smiles*return Galvantula you did really well for your first battle thank you.he said as he returned her back into her ball
Keenan:*thinks to himself*i need to return Hydreigon I need him for his last 3 Pokémon especially the one that is Elite Four level.he thought to himself
Volkner:that was an impressive display of power Keenan I can see why Hydreigon is one of your strongest.he said back to him
Keenan:thanks Volkner although he evolved recently he's always been eager to get stronger and battle any opponent he comes up against, he was like that ever since he was a Dieno.he said back to him
Volkner:I like a Pokémon that has spunk to them and eager to get stronger I'm sure that's what everybody wants, but this is when things will get serious from here on out.he said back to him
Keenan of course knows that since the last 3 Pokémon that Volkner has is among one of his strongest that he has as he needs to be aware of that Luxray and Electevire that he has as those 2 are Elite Four level as his other Pokémon is not exactly Elite Four level as of yet but he still needs to be cautious around it.
Keenan:*smirks*i wouldn't have any other way after all there's a reason why your the strongest gym leader here in Sinnoh.he said back to him
Volkner:*smirks back*you know I wish all of my challengers are like you but let's continue this battle let's go.as he threw out his next Pokémon out onto the battlefield
But this battle will continue in the next chapter let's go to another part of the world like Leaf for example.
Change Scene Alola
Leaf had currently lost a battle for the World Coronation Series as she's currently on Ula'Ula island in the Alola region enjoying some time in the sun as she gotten a challenge from the World Coronation Series for the Great class as she was ranked 150 but now she's ranked 300 as she lost her first battle.
As her opponent had took out all of her Pokémon with only using one of his.
Leaf:*returns her Venusaur*wow your really strong you defeated all of my Pokémon even with Venusaur's Mega Evolution she still lost.she said to her opponent
Ryuga:I'll admit you put up a more better challenge then most of the trainers in this stupid class I'm also surprised your in the Great class.he said back to her somewhat respecting her strength
Leaf:your Kommo-o is really strong you trained it well.she said to him
Ryuga then looked at his rankings as he went from 900 to 650 as he gotten a pretty big boost from that battle because Leaf is higher on the list as he entered the World Coronation Series not to long ago and all the battles he's had was nothing as Leaf is the only opponent he's had so far that put up a decent challenge.
Leaf:well anyways I should probably get back to relaxing maybe we'll battle again in the future.she said to him
Ryuga:*looks at her*yeah whatever you say thank you for the battle.he thanked her as he made his way away from her
As Leaf had stared at his retreating back as she didn't really stood a chance her Cleffable gottme one shotted by Kommo-o and her Venusaur had put up a better fight then her Cleffable but was ultimately defeated even when she was Mega Evolved she knows that Ryuga is a powerful trainer.

A/N:This is it for the chapter hope you guys enjoyed it as Keenan is batting Volkner for his last badge to enter the Sinnoh league and as to why I made it a full 6 vs 6 battle is to get him prepared for the Sinnoh league.
The Pokémon I came up with Volkner are kinda obvious since he's an electric type trainer but I decided to give him Galvantula since I figured that he did some traveling to different regions as I originally had Eelektross in mind for him but scrapped it. Magnezone was also on my mind but I wanted to give him a Pokémon from another region.
Leaf had battled up against Ryuga and she ultimately lost against him even with her Venusaur Mega Evolved, her Venusaur is at a Mid tier Elite Four level and High tier when it Mega Evolves, Ryuga's Kommo-o is Complex Elite Four level which his Kommo-o can defeat the Entire Elite Four by itself.
Also how I got the idea that Hydreigon can use 3 moves at the same time is from the Fated Dream's book from ArchieX2Y.
Yes Ryuga is Lance's student as I decided that Lance would have an apprentice and that's Ryuga.
Been a while since Leaf had seen Keenan so why not bring her back before the Sinnoh league and for his birthday party.
