- out of all of the groups, this one is most like a real family, with fukuzawa literally adopting a bunch of adults through the ada
- honestly the only ones that dont give fukuzawa any shit is kunikida, tanizaki, kyouka and kenji. you can find them in a cafe every so often, drinking their respective hot drinks and complaining about the others
- speaking of the others, they all annoy everyone else working. and yes i firmly believe atsushi, naomi and yosano annoy fukuzawa as well. sometimes of their own accord and sometimes getting roped into shit by the others.
Dazai
- as much as he loves annoying people in the ada i think he would respect certain boundaries that they have and understand if they are having a bad day or something similar
- would blast shitty music at loud volumes for fun
- does not have healthy eating patterns. if you do see him eating it would probably be junk food
- not academically smart but very smart when it comes to people ( i mean he was killing people from 15 years old so not much chance for education)
- would either buy the cheapest clothes he can find or the most expensive ones. no in between.
- as for his love life, i definitely think he and chuuya argue a lot but more in a joke way, and even though he annoys chuuya he still loves him a lot
- thinks of atsushi as a little brother and would rather die than admit that, and he finds it weird having an almost-family again, and he loves the people in the ada and the fact that they are so nice to him despite everything
Atsushi
- gets dragged into mischief but secretly enjoys it
- he does lots of random things he didnt get to do as a kid, like trying various foods and watching shitty shows
- cares for akutagawa so much, and akutagawa is probably the first person atsushi can really care about.
- refuses to change his bizzare hair cut
- would make tea and coffee for the other ada members when he has nothing to do
- since he didn't really have any family, the ada is like his family and he thinks of ranpo and dazai as his older brothers but he wouldn't admit it cuz he thinks they would laugh at him, similarly he thinks of kenji and kyouka as his little siblings and does spoil them occasionally
- has a terrible sense of fashion, im not gonna try to deny it
Ranpo
- also has terrible eating patterns and will just eat candy, though i bet he didnt have the chance to as a kid which explains why he loves it so much now
- definitely thinks of fukuzawa as his dad. he accidentally called him dad once and was so embarrassed that he left to 'go buy sweets'
- he can actually ride the train, he is smart, he just doesnt like being alone
- yosano is definitely like his sister and she takes him clothes shopping because he prefers the clothes she picks over the ones he does
- dazai is like his brother too, they love causing mischief, and ranpo can always tell when something is bothering dazai, so he does something to distract him and help him without addressing it
- atsushi is like his little brother, kenji and kyouka are like his siblings too but mainly atsushi. i believe that when ranpo was younger he really wanted a little brother but never got one. he does now though :)
- would listen to asmr instead of music. poe hates it
- speaking of poe, ranpo loves to listen to poe read his books out loud as he falls asleep, and its one of the rare times ranpo feels happy and safe enough to sleep infront of others. definitely loves poe and his books though.
Kunikida
- our favourite ex maths teacher. he is definitely smart academically and would get annoyed at others stupidity but wouldn't get too angry as most of them didnt have childhoods, or a chance for education
- would definitely tutor some of the younger ones or anyone who wants it, mainly maths but also other life skills
- cares about everyone in the ada. yes, everyone. even dazai.
- respects fukuzawa and is loyal to the ada through and through.
- mentioned this before but he loves tea. would definitely have like 10 different loyalty cards to different cafes n shit.
- a pretty lady complimented his hair once and said it was nice that it was long and he's grown it out ever since that day despite never seeing her again
- his book of ideals is so random and chaotic but i think he writes so that he doesn't forget anything, as i think forgetting things and losing his memory are his worst fears.
Yosano
- definitely has a mischievous side and likes to occasionally annoy others. once she moved everything on kunikidas desk an inch to the left and he cried
- thinks of ranpo as her brother. yosano never got much time for family and quickly felt at home in the ada with fukuzawa and ranpo.
- her loyalty to the ada comes from the fact that she cares about them all so much
- shes a doctor, and she hates that her ability means the person has to be half dead to heal them, which means she has to hurt them. she always tells herself that its for the good of the patient, but its so much worse when its her friends screaming in pain.
- listents to shitty teen bop music unironically cuz she enjoys it (it drives kouyou mad)
- speaking of kouyou, yosano loves her girlfriend sm, they definitely go on lots of dates all over the place but they do love a good picnic in the park
- has the superior sense of style
Fukuzawa
- dilf
- honestly i think hes great. he loves cats but mori won't let him adopt more than three but thats ok because he still looks after the other cats. he has two kittens hiding in his closet too.
- names his cats after the ada members. his favourite cat is a tabby cat called 'ranpo' also he has a mischievous black cat which had to be called 'dazai'
- loves tea as well as kunikida, they often drink tea together (aww)
- his favourite child is ranpo, and he spoils ranpo a lot. im not sure if he adopted the ada lot cuz he wants kids or felt guilty that everything happened to them.
- ranpo called him dad once by accident and he was so happy he had to try not to cry. (spoiler alert, he did cry, but he didn't let anyone see)
- anyway, mori. unlikely couple i know, but i love the idea of fukuzawa finding out dazai and chuuya or akutagawa and atsushi are a thing and having to decide whether to be like 'no you cant date someone from the mafia, they are the enemy' or like 'oh yeah funny story, im actually dating the mafia leader haha...'
- also they definitely knew each other for a while and trained their skills and abilities together
Kenji
- sunshine boy
- loves all animals and was very sad when fukuzawa told him he couldn't keep the baby ducks he found
- cuz of his ability also has weird eating patterns and he definitely prefers savoury over sweet food (much to ranpos dismay)
- loves kids cartoon shows and definitely listens to kidz bop
- gets on really well with kyouka and atsushi, and they go out to eat lunch sometimes
Kyouka
- goes clothes shopping with yosano and naomi as she doesn't know what to wear
- naomi is definitely like her big sister
- she also loves going out for lunch with atsushi, and will usually like to order whatever he orders
- surprisingly gets on well with kunikida who teaches her basic math and english skills as she never got the chance to learn
- also loves cats. she saw fukuzawa stroking a bunch of cats during a lunch break and they had a silent understanding that cats are great
Tanizaki
- awesome guy if you ignore the incest
- definitely lets his sister buy his clothes cuz he has a shit sense of style
- really good at tennis
- ive seen a lot of shit about naomi being part of his ability, which would mean that tanizaki really wants a sister, enough to fabricate one with his ability, which is kinda sad
- dazai and ranpo pay him in food to help them get away with their pranks with his ability (he's always happy to help)
- definitely uses his ability to annoy kunikida (who wouldn't??)
Naomi
- girlboss if you ignore the incest
- looks after everyone in the ada
- loves to bake and bakes cakes for each ada members birthday
- always wanted a little sister and was happy to take kyouka under her wing

-i love these guys
-there are undoubtedly different friend groups with in this section and that is great.
-we have chaotic group of tachihara, gin, higuchi and kajii with the tired supervisor hirotsu (they would never overstep too many boundaries cuz they love the guy but you would never hear them admit that)
-theres also the executives and the leader, chuuya, kouyou and mori, who have their own occasional lot of mischief
-if you got all of this lot in a room together it would probably be chaos
Chuuya
- short ginger man
- definitely listens to rock/punk kinda music but has a soft spot for queen and abba
- kouyou is like an older sister to him, especially as he never had a family. as for mori, i reckon they would be friends at most, i dont see a family bond there.
- akutagawa is like a little brother to him and he definitely spoils akutagawa and spends loads of time with him, they once won the jackpot at an arcade and won one of those giant teddy bears (which akutagawa keeps in his room but would die if anyone found out)
- this man loves his wine so much
- dazai. where do i start? definitely a love hate relationship but he does care about dazai and has a heart attack if he heard that dazai tried to do something stupid and get himself killed. they go on bar dates most of the time but definitely love romantic evening walks.
Akutagawa
- idk what to say. probably listens to 'emo music' but is more than happy to listen to whatever music atsushi likes (simp)
- speaking of his boyfriend, him and atsushi are literally couple goals. cute cafe dates, cuddling watching films, all of it. they are so fuckin adorable. also they definitely go on double dates with dazai and chuuya once they were aware the others were a couple
- this man is 100% a plain food guy. idk he just gives only salt n pepper vibes.
- looks up to chuuya after dazai left the mafia, which was a good decision as chuuya is a much better role model than dazai would ever be. he enjoys spending time with chuuya which he would admit to only chuuya.
Tachihara
- literally one of the most chaotic people here, has no regard for his health, much to gin's dismay, and loves causing mischief
- kajii is a good friend of his, and they like to go out for drinks every week and chat about life
- as for gin, man those two are great. i dont think theyd go on actual dates unless it was a special occasion but they definitely like to watch shitty movies whilst cuddling and being rude about the acting skills and cgi
- shit music taste. picture kids disco music and there you go.
Mori
- personally im not a fan of mori but here we go
- hates animals but lets fukuzawa keep no more than three cats, though he had thought he heard small meows from the closet a few times...
- as far as music goes, i think mori would be a classic music guy but i can picture him listening to little mix
- him and fukuzawa. a rare pair i think but i think theyd be an interesting couple. they've definitely known each other since they were teens, and have probably liked eachother since. theyd probably go on small dates like walks together or go to cafes
- definitely a wine and vodka guy (either together or separately)
Gin
- girlboss
- definitely plays with knives for fun
- very good at cooking only because akutagawa cant cook and they both had to eat. her kinfe skills came in handy.
- happy to cause mischief with her friends but would hate for her brother to find out
- looks out for her friends, despite being a badass she is a very caring person
Hirotsu
- needs a pay rise from dealing with the little shits
- listens to taylor swift (i dont take criticism plus i can see him dancing to shake it off in the kitchen whilst making dinner)
- as for the little shits i think he does care for them a lot despite not getting much back. however there was one time, on father's day when tachihara, gin, higuchi and kajii all turned up at his door with gifts and cards. he cried when they left.
- loves reading and often visits the library
Higuchi
- another girlboss
- has definitely had a crush on both the akutagawa siblings, but respects the fact that they are both dating someone else (she's awesome like that)
- has a great music taste and is always the person who picks the music in the car
- is very chill and goes along with anything
- enjoys mischief but will remove herself if she thinks its gone too far
Kajii
- lemon boy
- i would love to know how he discovered his ability but hey whatever
- this little arsonist loves mischief and him and tachihara plan most of the stuff but let the girls check it as gin and higuchi actually have brains to look for loopholes and mistakes
- would listen to kid disco music as well as shitty parody songs of different games. has gangnam style on repeat.
- loves lemons but hates oranges

- i think q would have a decent music taste but idk how old they are

-there is a large age gap between members and i can easily picture lucy, twain and poe teaching some of the older lot how to use technology
-had an art competition for their logo which was won surprisingly by twain who drew a stick figure holding a dollar bill. how he won, we will never know. (probably bribery)
Poe
- best boy
- loves his books and lives in his library
- people forget this guy is filthy rich btw and i think he'd be the person who doesn't realise how rich they are, and it'd be funny
- loves his raccoon karl, and definitely pampers him
- also loves his boyfriend, unconditionally. loves reading books and spending time with him. poe occasionally heads to the ada building and sits and cuddles ranpo on the sofa as ranpo rarely ever works.
- has social anxiety but would definitely put himself in a bad position if one of his friends is panicking more than him
- hes a caring guy i love him sm
Lucy
- a girlboss despite the fact that i probably gave her like two lines
- definitely cares for everyone and would bring people food n shit if they are ill
- pretends not to care for twain but makes sure he stays out of too much trouble
Hawthorne
- im not a fan of this guy. dunno why, just bad vibes.
- very religious (obviously) and probably a stupid level of religious that he would hate on atheists or people of any other religion
- listens to exclusively piano/organ music with no words, basically the shit youd hear in the church
-idk what else to say other than he did care for mitchell a lot which was nice
Twain
- one of my faves. probably second after ranpo.
- chaos. literally the most interesting person in the guild. definitely pranks everyone whenever he can. would range from putting a bucket of water above the door before mitchell walks through or letting loose 30 chickens in hawthornes room
- he definitely annoys hawthorne and mitchell the most because they are 'boring'
- would be great friends with tachihara and kajii
- listens to kid disco music, and country music
- i dont think hed cause any mischief or harm to poe unless he was sure it wouldn't upset him cuz he's considerate like that (love him)
Mitchell
- i wrote about her in this book, now she has headcannons. yay.
- a tea gal, definitely drinks cocktails too, and wine
- i think her and hawthorne would be a thing, and i think theyd be a cute couple, but theyd go on really stereotypical dates n shit

-weekly film night, each have shitty films they love, and they had to put in a three-week timetable for who picks the film cuz they argued so much
- definitely place bets on things going on outside, like '10 bucks that guy will fall over' etc.
- honestly i could totally see these three in a poly relationship or being good friends but i like the relationship idea
Nikolai
- he is chaos
- man bullies everyone and has no sympathy. well sometimes he does, he has a soft spot for fyodor and sigma
- loves his hair long because on a windy day he lets it blow all over the place and it 'looks cool'. however the rest of the time he likes plaiting it.
- he also definitely plays with sigmas hair and occasionally fyodors if he gets really bored
- knows so many magic tricks, both shitty ones and really cool ones. definitely takes peoples stuff to do magic with, especially if they are trying to use it
- loves sugary foods
- wants a pet bird, especially a dove but they fly away because nikolai hates keeping them in cages
- lives off classical music, literally like ballroom music. the guys insane
Fyodor
- i cant decide if he loves alcohol or hates it
- definitely a picky eater tho
- also the guy never showers, sigma literally has to bribe him to have a shower (fyodors a greasy rat man dont try to change my mind)
- also loves classical music and anything with amazing violin/cello parts
- has a love hate relationship with nikolai but definitely loves to cause mischief with the guy
- as for sigma, he gets on well with the guy, its hard not to get on with sigma
Sigma
- needs a pay rise for dealing with these two
- since sigma doesn't remember too much, these two idiots feel kinda like family to him, so he makes sure they are safe, and that they eat and drink enough to stay alive.
- loves animals, especially small fluffy ones like kittens, mice or chinchillas
- is a picky eater too
- as for nikolai, sigma at first hated the guy but now has a soft spot for him. definitely enjoys it when nikolai plays with his hair
