In the morning I woke up and walked into the living room. Nate had already been awake and was cooking scrambled eggs.
"Hey. It's 7:30 in the morning and you're wide awake." I said. "What's happening here?"
"Figured. Why not try and be a normal person." He said. "I know you can't eat eggs so I made you some pancakes."
"How did you know I can't eat eggs?" I asked.
I never told him that before. So how could he have known?
"Okay." He put the plates down on the table. "I may have gotten your brothers number while you were sleeping."
His face went to a really sour face. "Don't get mad. Ok? I don't need a frying pan to the face like Chef Denumount."
"Ok that was one time and he said that my uniform looked messy when we was wearing the same one." I said.
I ate the pancakes and we went to work.
