Lost in her thoughts Naina opened d door of her room.
"Kaha thi tu ab tak", Pooja asked in her sleepy voice peeping out from her blanket. Today she slept little early than her daily routine coz of Maj. Nair's hard drills but woke up listening d opening sound of d door.
Naina didn't reply. Only entered silently inside d room.
"Tujhse kuch punch rahin hoon Missed call...kaha khoyi hui h", She again asked taking a little yawn
Now Naina noticed Pooja's voice.
"Wo...bus...kuch..kaam tha", Naina replied in a lost voice moving slowly towards her bed vth her predetory steps
Though Pooja saw some papers in Naina's hands but seeing her condition she became little worried.
She got up & sat on her bed.
"Sab thik to h na Naina..tera tower itna uda uda sa kyun lag rha h", She asked in a caring tone rubbing her eyes
"Kuch ni Pooja..bus aise hi...", Naina replied vth absent mind
"Pakka na...Dekh agr kuch h to tu bata sakti h", She tried to confirm
"Pakka..kuch ni h", Naina now gave her reply plastering a little smile on her face
"To phir main so jaun", Pooja asked again taking yawn
Naina nodded vth a slight smile.
"Okay..then good night missed call..tu bhi so ja ab", Pooja said to Naina lying again on her bed
"Good night..Pooja", Naina wished her back
Pooja gave a carefree smile & slept again covering herself properly vth blanket.

As she did it, Naina sat on her bed feeling completely tired. Her eyes again became teary recalling the things.
"Jo karna h kar lena lekin aaj....."
Fixing his gaze from her eyes to her lips he leaned more onto her leaving only a hair's space left between their lips.
She closed her eyes tightly escaping a tear from them unknown of this fact dt his eyes too doing d same.
Now both of their eyes were closed but their hot breaths were completely mingling vth each others making their heartbeats to run v fast against their chests. Their lips were quivering in anticipation of contacting vth each other soon but there was uncertainty too vch was stopping them to do so.
Suddenly Naina felt a shove in her body vch made her eyes to open. It took her few secs to realize what happened there when she found herself free from his grip..from his proximity due to vch she was feeling a tingling sensation through out her body. She lifted her eyes & found him standing there on a distance turning his back to her.
"Jao yaha se, Naina...isse pahle ki main sach mein apna aapa kho baithun aur kuch aisa kar jaun jiske liye ek baar phir mujhe umra bhar pachtana pade", He said to her in a v serious tone. Though his voice was having extreme pain.
She couldn't react for some time. Only kept looking at him dumbfoundedly. Slowly she started to take her steps back though still in a daze.
When he heard d sound of her foot steps along vth her heavy breathing, he said," ek sec ", saying this to her he went to Almirah, took out sm papers from it & threw them back side on d sofa
"Red Box ki sari details hn in mein.. take them vth u", he informed her still standing there turning his back.
She picked up d papers vth her shaky hands & left d place.
"Should I complain to Brigadier Chandok??", She thought in her mind after recalling all the things vch happened before some time between them in his room.
"Why not..", her mind determinedly replied her
"Par kisliye", her heart questioned her innocently in d v next moment
"Kisliye kya...u don't know whatever happened a while ago in his room", Her mind asked her heart
"Kya hua hai ??...", her heart naively questioned back her mind again
"How can u say that like nothing happened... didn't u see what he did to her??", her mind said to her heart in a shocking way
"I don't think he has done anything like this for vch she should complain abt him", Her heart calmly replied to her mind
Naina looked at her heart's shadow expectantly vch was standing on her left side
"Ohh hello, if he did nothing then what was that the way he moved towards her vth his dark eyes & stood v close to her making her squirm", her mind objected to her heart. "remember Naina", trying to remind her of d moment
Naina now looked towards her right where her mind's shadow was standing on some distance.
"At d moment did he touch u,Naina?,"
Just think..", her heart again catched her attention towards him.
"So what??..not at dt time but later the way he closed d door then blocked her way & then tried to touch her neck only if she would not hv pushed him", her mind reminded her d 2nd proximate moment of them.
"Just shut up...he didn't try to touch her neck. That was accidental only coz he was drunk..& do u think it was so easy for her to push him back the way he stumbled..no it was not if he would not hv wanted this by hismself", her heart said looking towards Naina
".....yeah agree dt he shut d door & then blocked her way but it was not for dt what u r thinking," her heart said to her mind.
"Then what was for it?", Her mind questioned her heart
"You won't understand coz it is the matter of mine", her mind replied to her heart looking at her.
"Okay....chalo maan liya...par baad mein jo hua wo..the way he pulled her & then twisted her arms & she cried in pain...what was dt???," her mind again put a fact before her
Naina recalled d moment & her eyes filled up vth tears again.
"That's coz of his anger & pain...didn't u hear his painful voice??...& if talk abt of her pain I know better why was it but for ur satisfaction u can ask her too why she cried so much?? It was d effect of his twisting her wrists or more than dt whatever was happening around her she never expected from him..first seeing him like this in a completely devasted condition then all dt", Her heart replied to her mind looking at
Naina who was just looking at her heart's shadow v thoughtfully.
"Don't forget Naina what happened at the last moment. He forcefully tried to
ki..kiss u", Her mind provoked her catching her attention again
Looking at her right & listening to her mind's shadow her brows frowned remembering dt particular moment.
"But did he??...No...na..coz he never wanted to do dt", her heart immidiately said in a defending way.
Now Naina looked at her left v meaningfully & hopefully
"Don't listen to ur heart, Naina...he is making u fool. Just think..are not all these things d matter of offending for vch u should complain??
Naina looked at her right.
"Are u crazy...why r u misguiding her",
her heart shouted a little at her mind feeling annoyed
Now Naina looked at her left.
"I m not misguiding her...I m just putting all the facts before her.", Her mind stated
"Putting the facts in a wrong way is itself called misguiding," her heart said pressing on d words
"Aur rahi baat offend hone ki so if she hab been she would hv protested", her heart said to her mind looking at Naina through his peripheral vision.
"So...she did na..but he had grabbed her wrists..so how could she," Her mind reprimanded her heart looking at Naina through his peripheral vision like her mind
Sometimes Naina was looking on her left & sometimes on her right v thoughtfully
"Ohh common..she is not a Abla Nari type girl. Hv u forgot the way she had taught a lesson to Huda", her mind reminded them of dt moment
"So Huda was not a trained Soldier like Capt. Rajveer", her mind stated a true fact
"Okay agree but at least..she could shout & he also hadn't make any effort to stop her from shouting. He himself said,"to chillao kisne roka h", but she didn't why??", her heart divulged.
"May be...May be....coz...coz she didn't want others to raise a matter again in KMA which happened during their return from Mentorship programme. After all it is imp for her to stay here in KMA for her ultimate aim to prove her brother's innocency ", her mind tried to give a reason.
"So it means she would hv let him do anything vth her...Oh common...this was not reason. I tell u d exact reasons First one is dt she herself was lost in d moment vth him", her heart proclaimed.
Naina looked at her heart's shadow vth a frown.
"What nonsense r u talking ?? Why would she??", her mind angrily questioned
"That's what she needs to decipher", her heart asserted on the words looking at her vth a slight smile on face
Naina looked down trying to understand d hidden meaning of what her heart said a sec ago.
"Tumhari batein meri samjh se to bahar hain", her mind uttered feeling annoyed
"Ye meri yani Dil ki batein hain...U won't understand them", her heart enunciated smilingly
"And what was that 2nd & 3rd reason,
" her mind asked in curiosity
"The 2nd reason is that somewhere deep down in her heart she knew v well that he can't do anything wrong vth her & the 3rd & the last one..did he complain when she shot him?..No..so how can she?," her heart declared d fact."
"I understood", her mind announced vth a smile
"Actually we both are ur parts & want only ur good. Most of the things depend on d best use of us. A person needs to decode only where he/she has to follow his/her mind & where he has to follow his/her heart. We know it's not as this easy as it looks but what to do it is like this only," her mind explained further
"Correct,"her heart gave d affirmation
"& I can say this only dt this time u need to listen to ur heart before its too late", her mind finally concluded
Stuck between her heart & her mind she didn't get when she drifted into sleep holding those papers in her hands.

On the other hand as Naina left his room, in anger & pain he scattered all the things of kitchen counter from his both hands...& Sat on d floor vth a thud & Broke out in crying.
He kept crying like this for some time until his conscience asked him ,"If u r feeling this much pain then why did u do this?? How can u loose ur control like this??",
"To kya karta...kya karta main...bolo...
Wohi to kiya maine jo wo mujhe samjhti hai...khooni...neech...gira hua...aur bhi na jane kya kya," He cryingly answered
"But u r not like dt what u did today", his conscience proclaimed calmly
"Haan ni hoon main vaisa...par mujhe majboor kar diya gaya....kya karun main...main bhi ek insaan hoon...I m also a human being dammit...dard hota hai mujhe bhi...why anybody doesn't understand this dt I also hv a small heart jo dukhataaa bhi h yaar..", saying this he laid down on d floor itself feeling tired & broken from inside completely
"I understand v well but jo hua dt was also not ryt...don't u think smewhere u have crossed ur limits??," his conscience asked him imperturbably
He became silent for some time then spoke
"I accept it whatever I did in my anger & pain dt was not ryt...but I didn't cross my limit...main kabhi uske sath vaisa kuch galat kar hi nahi sakta...
main uske sath kabhi galat kr hi ni sakta...no...never..not even in my drunken state...", He replied in a low voice. Tears were continuously flowing from his eyes.
"But in this way u gave her one more big reason to hate u more...isn't it??," his conscience asked in a serious tone
"Nafrat...suna tha Nafrat ko Pyar aur Care se jeeta ja sakta h par yahan to nafrat ke aage sab kuch haar gaya...na use mere Pyar nazar aya aur na hi uske liye meri Care...
door to wo mujhse kabki ho gyi thi..
Wo to main hi bewakoof tha jo ek jhoothi aas lagaye baitha tha dt one day she would understand me, would forgive me..would return to me...
forgetting all her anger & hate...lekin aaj wo akhiri ummeed bhi toot gayi,"
He stated smiling painfully
"It is not like dt what u r thinking...
Just think why she didn't shout?? She could na but she didn't...koi to reason hoga..", his conscience tries to make him understand
"Honge uske apne kuch reasons..now dont try to give me a false hope...My heart today has gone beyond all this.
It is so much wounded now dt I don't think it can ever be reparable," He exclaimed feeling completely disappointed & devasted
"I m not giving u any false hope...I m stating a true fact...just ask from ur heart," his conscience said
"No..I won't now...bahut sun li Dil ki..
Hamesha chot hi pahuchi h iski sunkar...ab aur nahi..now I will do what my mind tells me to do...yahi sabke liye achcha hoga," he uttered.
Though his tone determined but voice completely lethargic.
"Kya achcha hoga...what r u going to do," his conscience tried to ask
"Ek..Ek..Decision," he said intermittently
"Kaise decision,"his conscience asked exasperatedly
"Ye ki.......," before he could complete.
He passed out on the floor.
