I was so tired. i didn't get a wink a sleep at all last night. i felt like i could fall asleep standing up.
all night i was thinking about my loss against shinso. shinso. it irritated me that i let him win, that i responded to him. if i had just kept my mouth shut i could've won.
i walked downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom making bacon and eggs.
"oh, hey sweetie! how'd you sleep?" she asked, focused on trying not to burn our breakfast. "terrible. can i just skip school today? i'm not feeling well." i sat on the couch, pulling out my phone and started scrolling through instagram.
"i mean, if you really don't feel good then i guess it's alright." she said, bringing over a plate with delicious smelling bacon and eggs, with a side of raspberries to balance it out.
"thanks mom!" i decided to take a picture of my plate and posted it on my insta.
