Third POV

A family of four exited their family care, arriving at the new house the parents had bought. They all started at the big house in joy, or at least the parents did, their children, not so much.

There is a reason why they all moved here, it was for a fresh start, an escape from their old, sad house. The things that happened there, surely left a scar in their hearts. Their son, Sapnap Dalton, is somewhat glad about moving, since you have a fresh start, you can be whoever you want.

And he was ready to be someone new, at home he hated it there. When you grow up somewhere, you're set, you are who you are, but moving gave him a chance to be someone new. Someone who can actually live himself maybe.

Before they walked into the house, they were stopped by an unusual guest. "Hey new family! Nice to meet you, my name is Dream, glad to make your acquaintance." Dream says as he reaches his hand out to Sapnap's parents, "Hi, my name is Connor and this is my wife, Lucy, nice to meet you, neighbor!" They shake Dream's hand. "Kids, introduce yourselves."

Both Sapnap and his sister glanced at Dream with unimpressed eyes while Dream was filled with curiosity. "My names Sapnap, nice to meet you." Sapnap said, "And my name is Katie." The girl just stares at Dream, Dream awkwardly moves along.

"Alright, kids, let's put this stuff up." Everyone goes into the house, but Dream puts his arm in front of Sapnap, stopping him from following his family. "How old are you?"

"The same age as you are? 14?" I chuckle, "What school are you going to go too?" Sapnap felt uneasy with Dream asking so many questions, it kind of annoyed him. "I'm going to Westwood high, why?"

"Oh, that's great, I'll see you than, bye!" Dream quickly handed Sapnap a piece of paper before rushing to back his house. It had his number, Sapnap smiled to himself. He put the note in his pocket and help put the boxes in his new house.

He finds his room, which is much bigger than his old one, it's like living room size. His dad recently got a promotion, Sapnap is not very close to his dad nor mom. They're often at work trips or something, so they're barley home, the only parent figure he ever had was his older sister, Katie. Sure, they had maids and stuff, but Katie often took care of Nick. Sapnap's family is very rich if you didn't notice.

He got all of the boxes for his room out of the truck and start unpacking everything, first his clothes. He started folding his pants, he opened up his drawer and put his pants in there. He followed by getting hangers and putting shirts, hoodies, anything that would go on them, on the hanger before hanging them in his closet. He decided that he'll decorate his room later.

He grabbed his shoe boxes which were only 4 more besides the one he was wearing, and he places it in the corner where you enter his closest. Everything else had already been set since the movers took the furniture and had already placed everything here, at their new home.

Sapnap walks downstairs to the kitchen where he sees his mom putting pots, pans, utensils, and plates where they go. He opened the fridge, knowing there was already nothing in there, he just wanted to see how it looked like. He was impressed, it was nice.

Sapnap jumped up and sat on the island since there were no stools yet, "Hey, mom, when do we go to school?" Nick asks, watching as his mom opens cabinets, putting whatever in there and closes them. "On Monday, but remember, you're going to a public school, so it's going to be different. "

Sapnap just hums, swinging his feet. "So, since tomorrow we have nothing to do, but put everything up, I decided we could explore the city, look around at the mall, eat at a restaurant." Lucy suggests while Sapnap just hums in interest. "We can go to the North hill, we passed by it, and it looked really big." He suggested, "Ok then, I'll have the help unpack some stuff."

"Oh, ok then, I'll tell your dad later." Sapnap just hums again, he's not really that close with his dad, he never was. He's always off working, or probably sleeping with his mistress. The only reason why Sapnap knows this is because he's caught them more than once, it started when he was 9. When he was 12, he told his dad to stop the affairs, or he'd tell his mom. So, his dad did stop.

"Ok, well, I'm going to go for a walk, so I'll be back soon." He says, "Ok, Hun, be safe!" Sapnap walks away to the garage, looking for his dad's tool, specifically a screwdriver. After a couple of minutes of searching he finally found one, it took a while since everything was such a mess. Nick placed the screwdriver in his pocket of his hoodie. He walked back inside, into his room and got his skateboard. He then left through front door. He placed it down and started skating away.

——

A girl was wandering around in her neighborhood with her best friend. They were just passing each other a vape, walking around, endlessly. "Bro, I hate my fucking math teacher, it's like she's always gunning for me and my grades." She whines, jokingly. "Isn't that every other math teacher, ever?" The girl next to her questions, "Yeah, true, but she's worse, she never misses a day." She spoke.

"Let's go to the park," Her best friend said, "Vaping is the best at night." The blonde just nods, agreeing. Minutes had passed and they were almost there, it was almost 8 pm, of course their parents didn't worry that much since they know they are careful with what they do, but they don't know they vape and do other stuff.

"Hey, who's that?" The black-haired girl asked as she spotted an unfamiliar black-haired boy, "I don't know, I've never seen him here before maybe he's new to the neighborhood." She shrugs. "Why would anyone want to move here, especially to this side of town, it's the worse." Her friend said as the blonde agreed. "Let's go talk to him." Her friend grabs her fellow blonde best friend and starts dragging them to the boy, "Wait, what!? You want to talk to him?" She sheepishly spoke, "Yup." her friend simply said.

The raven-haired boy was standing next to a stop sign with his earbuds in listening to music. He grabbed the screwdriver from his pocket and placed his phone there. We put the screwdriver in and started unscrewing the nails out, so he could take the stop sign. He didn't hear the girls talking behind him because he was too zoned out and his music was on high volume.

The curious, black-haired girl tapped the boy's shoulder making Sapnap jump. He turned around and was met with both girls just staring at him. He took off his earbuds, you could still hear the music playing. "Uh, this isn't what it looks like, I'm just fixing it, it was crooked." He lies while the girls obviously didn't believe him and just looked at him, unimpressed. "That's the worst lie I have ever heard," The black-haired said, "It really is." Her best friend agreed. Sapnap just chuckles awkwardly as he takes to stop sign off, just staring at both of the girls embarrassed. "You're not from here, are you?" The blonde girl questions, Sapnap just shakes his head. "I'm new to the city, I'm from the rich side, which filled with a lot of cops which is why I came here."

"That's smart, there's barely any cops in the side of the city." The blonde girl says, "Ok, well, goodbye!" Both of the girls started walking away as Sapnap was just standing there confused. The three of them thought they would never see each other again. Sapnap started skate away, pushing his feet against the ground. As he was skating away, he was scanning around the neighborhood, noticing there were many people outside.

When he was almost at his house, he saw a kid around his age. It felt like everything was in slow-motion for Sapnap, he saw him working out, just doing pushups and sit ups. When the boy got up, they both stared at each other for a split second, yet it felt like minutes. Sapnap looked away and pushed his feet on the ground to speed him up as the boy stared at Sapnap from his back, watching him roll away.

Sapnap finally got home, he opened the door that happened to be unlocked. He quietly walked in, hiding the stop sign behind his back. He walked past the kitchen, but he heard his mom call for him. He walked back, peaking through the entry way, "Yes, mom?" He asks, "Could you help me make dinner?" she replied back. "Yeah, yeah of course, I just need to do something really quick." She nods and Sapnap quickly heads upstairs and into his room. He closes the door, and sees a box of decorations, Sapnap puts the stop sign on the box. Sapnap rushes down the stairs to the kitchen too help his mom.
