"Ah shit!" A yell from the kitchen alerts me. I drop the book I was read, a little mad that i forgot my book mark and run over to see blood "did you cut yourself again?" I ask Zelda "yeah I'm not good with cutting and not looking" she began to look for a bandage "first we have to clean that, it's kinda deep." Handing my wife a wet paper towel to substitute her other hand
Jogging to our first aid cabinet to find some polystyrene, hydrogen peroxide, since it's an old knife, and a bandage or two
"Vivian!" My lover shouts "where did you put the paper towels, mine is covered in blood" I start to worry a bit more 'what if she needs stitches?'
This time I run back to her "please put you hand under water". I request while turning in the faucet. The water starts red and slowly turns clear, taking her hand out "this is going to hurt, I'm not gonna suger coat this, it hurts" I warn and she gulps
I try to open the hydrogen peroxide and fail so I stab it with my longish nails and pour some onto the wound. Small tears go down Zelda's face "I hate pain" she winces "who doesn't?" I reply "masochist and sadist"
"True"
I wash her hand off again and put the polystyrene on followed by a bandage "There, I'm gonna finish the food, can you set the table?"
"Alright"
We had ended up having ramen and watching captain America and the winter soldier, again
