The movies started again.
ᴘᴏᴛᴛᴇʀ ᴍᴀɴᴏʀ, ᴜɴᴘʟᴏᴛᴛᴀʙʟᴇ.
25𝔱𝔥 𝔡𝔢𝔠𝔢𝔪𝔟𝔢𝔯 1975.
"Why do rich people have beautiful homes?" someone asked.
"Because they are rich!" his friend deadpanned at the stupid question.
James Potter was shown sitting in his sister's bedroom, his eyes closed. Voice could be heard arguing from down. A faint thud! was heard. James glanced as Regulus emerged from the window.
"Why are you there?" Lily asked.
"You have a sister?" the rest asked.
"What are you doing here?" Regulus asked, surprised.
"It is his house, genius," Sirius told his brother, who scoffed.
Selena chuckled.
"This is my house, genius," James rebuked.
"Are you soulmates or something?" Alice asked, teasingly.
"hmm.. maybe we are Padfoot," James spoke pondering.
"I agree Prongs."
"I meant in Lena's room?" Regulus asked.
"She is my sister, idiot. The real question is what you are doing here?"
James and Selena exchanged looks.
"A sister that you've not acknowledged for the past few years," Regulus sassed. James face dropped into a frown.
"Reggie..."
"I'm sorry," Regulus mouthed.
"And for the record, she is my best friend."
"You both act like she is a little more than your best friend," James said amused.
Regulus and Selena blushed.
"Finally! someone said it," Evan spoke dramatically.
"Don't change the topic, Potter. Why are you here?" Regulus tried to ignore the ongoing argument below.
"Avoiding the statement, Reg," Bellatrix teased. Regulus flipped the middle finger.
"Why are you avoiding the topic Reg," Selena asked him.
James sighed, slumping against the bed, "To apologize. I know the truth."
"What truth?"
"Well seems like some finally started to use their brain."
"Why are you here?" he asked tiredly.
"To take her away."
"Take who away?"
"What?! You cannot, Black she is my sister."
"A sister none of us know."
Dumbledore watched the movie with wide eyes. The tables had turned without his knowledge.
"And your sister is not happy living in your house. I'm taking her to Aunt Dorea," Regulus spoke with finality.
"Is it not weird, that you have the same aunt?" Lily asked.
"Not really," Regulus told her.
The door opened, and Selena Potter was shown walking in her eyes were red, and her face stoic.
And then is when the chaos ensued.
"You're his sister?"
"isn't your last name, Fawley?"
"Is that Selena Fawley?"
"Plot twist!"
"What the fuck!"
"Were you crying?"
"What are you doing here?" she asked James, rudely.
Euphemia and Fleamont looked at their daughter with disgust.
"I need to talk to you," James spoke, hesitantly.
"If you plan to insult me and call me a disgrace, let me tell you, Euphemia has already covered that." James flinched, as Regulus squeezed her hand, and murmured something into her ears, leaving the room.
Euphemia glared harshly at her daughter. Received a glare from Dorea.
"Leave," she told her brother pointing at the door.
"No, Lena-"
"Don't call me that!"
"Selena, please listen to me! I'm sorry!" James pleaded.
"For what?!!"
"I didn't mean to. I really did not. I was stupid, naive, and a complete arse. You are not a disgrace. I don't fucking care that you are a Slytherin; not anymore. I'm sorry for being a bad brother. I'm sorry for pushing you around. I'm sorry for humiliating you, and insulting you. I'm sorry that I never stood up for you. I am so sorry!"
People watched the screen vividly.
James and Selena were sobbing.
"Why? Why now? Why after all these years?!!" She shouted at him.
"Yesterday, I was going through the old album. I found a letter, addressed to me. I opened it out of curiosity, and suddenly everything was clear. I don't what happened, but suddenly everything was not so black and white. I could finally see the truth." James confessed.
"Compulsion potion," Severus gasped.
"Compulsion potion." James nodded.
"I'm sorry I trusted that bastard." Selena pulled James into a hug.
A faint cough was heard, Regulus leaned against the door, "We need to leave."
"Way to ruin the moment, Reggie," Andromeda commented dryly.
"it was getting way to emotional," he replied.
Selena nodded, walking towards him, she held out her hand. Regulus held it.
'I'm sorry,' James whispered, Selena smiled at him, as they prepared to leave.
"You were the only one under the potion, Jamsie."
"What!"
"No way."
"That means..."
With that Selena left the Manor, leaving an angry James Fleamont Potter. And that was the day Selena Euphemia Potter, became Selena Dorea Fawley.
