Yuan Yao specifically set the charity ball on the same day as their company’s anniversary.
With Yuan Yao as the host, they had invited almost half of the entertainment circle and the event was well talked about.
This was a privately hosted charity ball. Mainly there would be auctions during the event and the earnings minus the expenses would be used for charity purposes.
It was an event that would bring them both profit and goodwill!
The reason Lin Yiyi wasn’t too overly excited about the event was that all attendants, regardless of your status, would have to show some sort of gestures.
Meaning, everyone would have to willingly spend a large sum of money!

Charities meant an individual or a group of individuals voluntarily performed acts that would be beneficial to victims of the unfortunate ones in the society without asking for anything in return.
That being said, let it be wealthy people or stars, most of them were only doing it for fame. Where the money went at the end; how they were spent; or how much was spent… Nobody really cared.
All said and done, building a school and donating books and other materials would have been much more pragmatic!
On the day of the event, the location was dazzling.
Just like the media had advertised from a long time ago, many stars were attending this event.

This was a fall-winter design with silver sequins and a long train. It was very eye-catching and the way it hugged the body along with the back showing made it a very s*xy gown.
Even though she was the CEO of a film company, her limelight arguably outshone a lot of the actresses.
She had no problem at all walking on the red carpet that was full of attractive people.
