Hello! This is my first try to write fiction, it's not the best but I hope you will enjoy it. My first language is not English, so I'm sorry for the grammar/writing mistakes.
Chapter1
It's been a long and boring day until somebody knocked on Ceylin and Cüneyt's door. You, may ask Cüneyt and Ceylin? Yes, they work together since Yekta went to prison.
A few weeks ago, after Ilgaz pushed Yekta to the wall, he filed a complaint about Ilgaz, but this time the big Yekta Tilmen didn't win. He was abandoned by everyone, and he was left alone in the court. Lacin and Cüneyt were on Ilgaz side because they had enough of all the bad things, he did just to separate the young couple. He needed to stay in front of the judge and prosecutors, lawyers alone. Well, thanks to Cüneyt and Lacin who said everything about him... Even that he did on purpose everything just to part Ilgaz and Ceylin, but mostly to hurt Ceylin.
When the case was about to end Cüneyt made a surprise and revealed the truth about Yekta's fake diploma. So, he ended up in the prison for several years. We can say that Neva had a good influence on Cüneyt, but also Cüneyt had enough of Yekta's behavior, so he did what was right.
Back to the present. Where I was? Yes, so a man knocked on the office door. Ceylin and Cüneyt stayed in Ceylins office, and there create their own lawyer's office it wasn't luxurious as the Tilmen's office, but finally, they were free.
Cüneyt opened the door and a man came in, he was in his 50s he was well dressed and he had a suspicious look on his face. Ceylin wasn't sure about this case, but they take it anyway. The case was about money laundering, the man was accused by his company that he stole from the company money and replace it with non-existing equipment. He told all the details about the case, but the two-lawyer thought that he might lie, so they became too suspicious about it. After the man left, Ceylin started to put together the case, while Cüneyt dogged in the company affairs, to find out the truth. For both of them this case and the man give a Yekta vibe, they know there is something bigger at the end of this case.
-Cüneyt, I don't like the way, this case is going. I think we should drop it. - said Ceylin while she was waiting to get her coffee.
-Trust me Ceylin, something is wrong here. I'm not sure but this man is like Yekta was. I'm afraid if we take this case we will be in trouble. But I want to find out the truth. - said Cüneyt while he put some milk in his coffee.
-I want to find out too, so let's get back to work and find out, then we will discuss if we will finish it or not. - replied Ceylin with her mug in her hand, while she was walking back to her desk.
Ceylin and Cüneyt worked all day and made phone calls but they still didn't make it until the end of this case they became more and more sure that this case will be ugly. The two busy lawyers didn't even notice that it is evening already, not even that somebody entered their office more precious two-person entered their office. They were so busy they didn't even notice that the ones who entered the office were their loved ones, Ilgaz and Neva. Ilgaz went to Ceylin and kissed her hair, she realized just then that Ilgaz came to her.
-You two are very busy. – said Neva with a smile.
-I agree with Neva, you don't even respond when I called you, not a message, nothing. What are you two in again? How many problems we will get after this? - asked Ilgaz with a laughing voice
-There is a bizarre case, we want to find out so then we will know if we drop it or not. - said Cüneyt while he was still looking at his laptop screen.
-You are thinking about dropping a case? I'm interested now. - said Ilgaz. Ilgaz went out to the kitchen to take a glass of water then when he got back, he scolded them. - I see you drank a lot of coffee, but nothing to eat. Am I right? Ceylin? Cüneyt? Guys, did you eat something today?
Both of the lawyers were silent because honestly, they didn't have the time to eat, but if they will say this to them, they will get just another scold.
-Tamam, both of you get up, we are going to eat and tomorrow you will continue this case. - said Neva whit anger in her voice. - Look at them Ilgaz, these two are able to live with caffeine and water.
-Hadi, Ceylin faster, close that laptop and come.
-Tamam, we are coming to stay calm, Cüneyt I think they are considered as some children. -said Ceylin hoping that Ilgaz didn't hear this phrase.
-Yes, because you two act like some kids. - got the answer from Ilgaz. While he was walking back to Ceylin and kissed her again. They left the office, and walked to their favorite restaurant, in the way Ceylin got an idea.
-Guys, let's call Eren and Pars too. - and she tried to find her phone. - Nice I left my phone in the office.
-I will call abi, and Ilgaz call Eren. Let them bring Derya and Aylin too. - said Neva.
-Ceylin, don't stress yourself we will get your phone when we came back from dinner. I call Eren then.
The four of them arrived at the restaurant and they sit down while they are waiting for the other two couples. Cüneyt and Ceylin's heads are still full with the case, they can't relax.
-Sevgilim, leave that case for tonight, please. -Ilgaz voice sound worried because he knows that if Ceylin starts something she had to finish it.
-I just want to find out the truth, maybe if they arrive, they can help us and finish it early so we can have fun. – replied Ceylin to Ilgaz and take his hand in her and place their hands on her lap. A few minutes later arrived Pars and Derya, then Eren and Aylin.
-Guys, we need your help in a case, then we can have fun, but we need to find out this because until then our two genius lawyers will be in a different world. So, Ceylin, Cüneyt tell us the case. - said Ilgaz after everyone sat comfortably around the table.
-So, we have a case about money laundering, Ceylin and I think that there is something bigger in the whole story, we need to find out, so we can decide if we continue this case or not. – Explained Cüneyt their situation.
-It's obvious that there is something dangerous, so I think you should drop this case. – said Pars while Eren was talking on the phone with Umut, his right hand.
After Eren finished receiving the news, he was shocked.
-Guys, I agree with Pars savci. The man had already two cases with murderers and one with stealing.
-I told you, he is like Yekta. - said Cüneyt to Ceylin.
-I think we get our answer, tomorrow we take this case to court and drop it. - said Ceylin with confidence. When they started to work together, they made a promise, that they will not protect a guilty person. They made this decision because of their life partner, Neva, and Ilgaz. Both of the lawyers were madly in love with their partners and wanted them to be happy.
Little did they know that the mysterious man followed them, and when he found out that they know the truth he wanted to stop them, by stealing the documents from Ceylin's office.
The couples had a great time at the restaurant the friends weren't together in a while because everybody had their own work to do. The newest couple was Eren and Aylin, when Eren finally take the step and asked Aylin out his friends didn't even think that they will end up together, but both of them deserved to be happy. Let's be honest all of them deserved to be happy.
Ilgaz and Ceylin had the hardest time, but they hold into each other and faced all the problems which were in their way. Now they are calm and happy, well as happy as they can knowing that Metin is in prison and Gul erased Ceylin from their life, Ceylin talks just with Aylin and Parla. Cinar wasn't arrested in the final, but as the case was closed, he left the country to not make more trouble for them. Defne lived with her aunt or with Ilgaz and Ceylin, when she wanted.
A few hours later the eight friends were on their way back to Ceylin's office to get her phone.
-I will be back in a minute. -said Ceylin and wanted to go upstairs.
-Don't be ridiculous, I will get it and come, wait for me. - said Ilgaz and entered the building.
As Ilgaz get up to the office, he noticed that the door is open, he takes out his phone and calls Eren to get up too. Ilgaz entered the office and find a man at Ceylin's desk, the man turns to him and shot Ilgaz, and run out of the office through the fire escape. While Eren gets up, the man is already out and Ilgaz is bleeding heavily.
-Kardesim, what happened?
-The man, escaped find him...
-Ilgaz, open your eyes, stay with me, I call the ambulance. - said Eren with panic in his voice.
-Protect Ceylin lütfen.
Eren called the ambulance and after he called the friend group to come up. The moment Ceylin heard what happened to Ilgaz she braked down. Pars and Cuneyt helped her upstairs and they tried to calm her down, but it does not help at all. She was in a panic that her only support might die.
The ambulance arrived and they took Ilgaz to the hospital, Ceylin went with them while the other three girls went after the ambulance with Neva's car. Meanwhile, Eren, Pars, and Cuneyt were after the man, to find it and put him in jail.
-Will their suffering end anytime? Look they lost their family, and now this. – said Neva to the other two girls.
-I don't know Neva, but if something happens to Ilgaz Ceylin will not survive either. - Derya voice sound so worried, they were friends for just a couple of weeks but had a strong connection.
-Ilgaz will be fine I'm sure he is strong, but right now Ceylin needs our support. What we will do? - asked Aylin as worried as Derya.
-Don't know, let's just be there and help her. - replied Neva, while she passes another car, they need to be right after the ambulance, to arrive at the same time as the hospital.
Meanwhile, the boys received the camera's video.
-Cüneyt, you know this man? -asked Eren while Pars was driving.
-Yes, he is the man, we should protect.
-To protect? He will need protection, but not from lawyers. But from us and Ceylin. - replied Pars with anger.
-Eren calls Umut, to find out where is this bastard. -said Pars
-Umut find this man from the video. Now, he shot Ilgaz savci. - said Eren to Umut through the phone.
-Ne? How is Ilgaz savci? Ceylin? - asked Umut whit a worried voice
-We don't know if they are at the hospital, hurry Umut, hurry!
-I send you the location in a few minutes' commissars.
-Thanks, Umut!
Pars phone started to ring, Derya was it.
-Pars, Ilgaz is in surgery, hurry up guys. Ceylin is not okay at all.
-Tamam, we do what we can, try to calm her down. We will find that bastard.
-I'm going back to Ceylin, she needs us. – closed the phone Derya.
Eren get the location, and the trio drives to the place.
-This man shot somebody and came to a bar he is too stupid.
-He didn't think that he is a prosecutor, so we will find him so easy. He is too calm for somebody who just shot a man. It's not his first case – replied Pars to Eren phrase.
Eren and Pars stopped the man at the exit from the bar.
-You are under arrest for shooting a state prosecutor! - said Pars with the calmest voice he could use at that moment. He knows that they will be alone so he can express his anger there. They take him to the station right to the interrogation room.
At the same time, Ceylin breaks down again in the hospital. She is not crying, she is in shock, she just sits there and stares at the floor.
-How can I live without him? What I will do? I have nobody just him. He is my everything, I love him more than my life. Please tell me he will be fine. - looked at Neva with teary eyes.
-Look Ceylin, this might will not help, but he loves you too, he never loved me as much as he does with you. When he looks at you his eyes are shining, and his smile lights the whole room, just because you entered the room. He is strong nothing will happen to him; he is in good hands now.
Derya came with her phone in her hand to the two girls who are at the bench.
-They found the shooter; you will be not happy about who it is.
-Who is it? - both of them asked Derya
-Is the man who asked you to be his lawyer. Ahmet bey.
-What? So Ilgaz get shot because of me? - Ceylin starts to blame herself
-No, it has nothing to do with you, calm down.
-How can I calm down Derya? He is in that operation room because my client shot him. He might die because I was so stupid to let my phone in the office. He is in danger because of me again. Again, he has problems just because of me, like every time. I can't take it if something happens to him.
-Aylin bring some water. -shout Derya to Aylin who is talking on the phone with Eren about the man. She immediately runs to bring water to Ceylin so she can calm down a bit.
-Nothing will happen to him, I know. - tries Neva to calm her. Aylin arrive with water and gave it to Ceylin she had a few sips just to please the girls near her.
Then opened the surgery room and the doctor came out.
-We succeed, he is alright, he might sleep for the next hours maybe the whole night because of the sedatives, but he is alright. The bullet didn't hit any internal organs. As I said he is sleeping but one person can stay with him. Who will be? - finished the doctor his monologue.
-Well, his wife will stay here then, Ceylin. - replied Derya. - If it's okay I will go to the station to check what the boys did. Neva, are you coming? Aylin I can take too.
-I will come, I want to see what Cuneyt did.
-I stay a little bit longer with Ceylin, I will go after. - said Aylin. While they were talking, they take Ilgaz to his room, and Ceylin immediately went after him.
Aylin stayed in front of the room, she can't enter because Ilgaz was still sleeping, while Ceylin was in the room holding Ilgaz hand. Once Ceylin noticed that Aylin is still there, she left Ilgaz room to talk to her.
-You can go too; I'm fine there is no problem. Thank you so much for being here. Abla don't say anything to Parla, tamam? She loves Ilgaz.
-No need to thank anything. If you are alright, I will go to talk with Eren, then home to check how is Parla.
-Tamam, good night! - Ceylin hugged Aylin. After that Aylin left and Ceylin went back to Ilgaz room and lay next to him.
At the station Pars is interrogating the man without the camera and with Eren and Cüneyt at the door, so nobody would enter.
-So, what were you doing in that office?
-I wanted to take my documents, from the lawyers.
-So, to take some documents why do you need a gun? -asked Pars with an ironic laugh.
-Just to protect me.
-Do you know you shot a state prosecutor!!- start to shout Pars, lift the man and push him near the wall. Then Pars punch him a couple of times, but he is careful to not leave any marks on the man
Then entered Eren to say to Pars that Derya and Neva arrived. But he ended up hitting the man too, while the two friends left the room, Eren turns back and speaks.
-Be great full for that his wife is not here, if she would be here, you would get out from this room dead. Just to know.
-Umut, take our friend to the cell, and in the morning right to the judge. - says Pars.
-How is Ceylin, Neva? - Cüneyt asked for the first time that night. He is blaming himself just like Ceylin.
-She is okay, near Ilgaz. Aylin stayed with her a little more, probably she left too already. Ceylin will stay at the hospital tonight. - replied Neva
-Cüneyt, please don't start to blame yourself too, it was enough one person for tonight. You guys didn't do anything wrong. Also Pars why was that man's nose bleeding?
-Ask Eren, not me. I didn't punch him in the nose.
-Well, he shot Ilgaz, he can be happy to be alive, sure when Ceylin arrives, he will be in a worse state. – replied Eren with a smile.
The group left the police station and went home, it was already late.
Chapter2
Ceylin in the morning wakes up to a calm and warm voice.
-No matter, I sleep better if she is near me, I don't care about the stitches, I needed her and she needed to feel that I'm okay.
-Yes, but...
-There is no but. End of the discussion. When I can get out?
-The doctor will come and say when you can leave. - the angry nurse left; she didn't like that Ceylin was in Ilgaz bed.
-I caused your a problem again, right?
-Who cares if a 60-year-old nurse is mad at me, I care just about you. Are you okay? The others? Do they know who is the man who shot me?
-Ilgaz, calm down. First, I'm okay I'm just worried about you. Yes, the boys arrested him, and he was the man with the money laundering.
-Fuck, what could happen if you entered the office and not me? I would be crazy if something happens to you. – Ilgaz hugged Ceylin even tighter and kiss her head. While he felt how Ceylin started to cry again.
-Hey, I'm fine, don't cry nothing happened.
-Ilgaz, I can't lose you; I love you so much.
-Ceylin, I love you too, nothing will happen I'm alright. We will go home and be safe tamam?
The doctor just entered Ilgaz room, with a smile on his face. Ceylin gets up from the bed.
-The nurse told me that you broke the rule and slept together. But I don't blame you. How are you feeling Ilgaz bey?
-I'm fine. When I can go home?
-In a couple of hours, you can leave, but you need to rest and don't do sudden moves. - the doctor left and Ilgaz and Ceylin stayed in the room.
-Can you come back next to me? - asked Ilgaz with a cute look on his face.
-I can, but I don't want to hurt your wound.
-I don't care, I just want to hug you. – so, Ceylin lay next to Ilgaz again and put her head on Ilgaz chest next to his heart so she could hear his heartbeat.
After a couple of hours, they left the hospital and went home. When Ceylin gets a phone call from Pars.
-Ceylin, we take Ahmet bey to the judge, do you want to come?
-I don't know, I don't want to leave Ilgaz alone, but I talk to him and I will see.
Ilgaz sits on the balcony admiring the beautiful flowers and he says to Ceylin.
-Go to the court I will be fine. I promise if something hurt, I will call you.
-Tamam, I get ready and go then.
-Ceylin, please don't do anything to end up in a cell- says Ilgaz with a smile- you know I don't want to go to court just to take you out from there again.
Ceylin throws a pillow at her husband and entered the house laughing.
-Seni Sevyiorum, I'm out.
-Ben de, take care of yourself Ceylin.
Ilgaz had a plan in his mind so he can make surprise Ceylin when she will get home, finally, he has the ring for her, and he will propose to her like a real man.
Chapte3
Ceylin arrived at the court exactly in time to meet Ahmet bey.
-Pars savci, is your room free for a couple of minutes?
-Evet Ceylin, is free, but please be careful. - said Pars to her- Guards take the detained to my room.
Pars followed the guard and behind them was Ceylin. The guards left the detained in the room and then entered Ceylin.
-Pars savci, would you like to stay too? I just want to ask a couple of questions.
-Tamam Ceylin, I'm here. Ask!
-Two questions, Ahmet bey. First, why did you lied to us, we told you we will not protect you if we find out the truth, so you entered my office and stole the document? And the second question, with what audacity did you shoot my husband?
-Your husband? I didn't know he is your husband.
-Yes, Ilgaz savci is my husband, so I give you five seconds to explain why you shot him?
Ahmet bey didn't respond then Ceylin slaps his face twice, and left the room.
-Guards you can take him to judge. - said Pars and went after Ceylin to check if she is alright.
-Ceylin I'm proud of you, I thought you will be more aggressive with him.
- I promised Ilgaz to not end up in a cell. - laugh Ceylin was nervous and went with Pars to the judge, who of course was Neva.
Ahmet bey was detained and sent to prison, because of an attempt at murder. After the hearing Ceylin and Pars left Neva's office, they went back to Pars office just for Ceylin to take her coat and bag. When Ceylin left the room, she meets with Ozge.
-Ceylin hanim! How is Ilgaz savci? - asked Ozge.
-He is okay, he needs to stay home for a few days but nothing serious.
-I hope he gets well soon. I'm going to Derya savci. Good bye!
-Bye, Ozge!
Ceylin went out from the courthouse to her car, as she sits in take her phone, and called Ilgaz.
-How are you? -asked Ceylin worried.
-No hello? Nothing? Just the question, tamam, I'm fine Ceylin. I'm not sick just wounded.
-Yes, if you were sick, I knew you will be fine in a few days, but I'm worried now. Do you need anything from the supermarket?
-Calm down Sevgilim. No, I don't need anything, I went out to take everything that was missing from the fridge.
-Oh, so you didn't stay at home? And you say to not worry. Ilgaz you should stay at home. - says Ceylin. - I can't believe you...
-Canim, come home and I will be perfectly fine until then.
-I'm on my way. In 30 minutes I will be home.
-Take care of yourself! And drive safely. Seviyorum! Bye
-Ben de. Bye. - Ceylin close the call and drive out of the parking lot. She managed to drive pretty fast, but thankfully wasn't too big the traffic. Even this way it took more than 30 minutes to get home.
Chapter4
When she parked her car in the front of the house already was almost dark outside. She took her phone and bag from the car and entered the yard. When she arrived at the front door, she realized her keys were inside, so she searches her phone to call Ilgaz.
-Can you open the door; my keys are inside. - she heard how Ilgaz closed the balcony door through the phone.
-Coming- and he closed the phone.
He opens the door, and pulls Ceylin inside, Ilgaz closed the door and kissed Ceylin.
-Close your eyes I have a surprise for you,
-What did you do?
-Close your eyes and let me lead you.
Ceylin closed her eyes and take Ilgaz hand, when they arrived in the living room Ilgaz said.
-Stay here and wait until I say. - Ilgaz went to open the balcony door, and light the candles at the table.
-Tamam, you can open your eyes, and come to the balcony. - Ceylin opens her eyes, and she is so surprised she can't even say a word. The balcony was full of flowers and candles. Ceylin eyes get wet from the tears, she was so happy and emotional, she never thought somebody will do this to her.
-Ilgaz... when? How? Why? - she couldn't form a proper phrase. Ilgaz cross the few steps which were between them and hugged her.
-I love you, and I wanted to show you how much. Hadi the food is ready.
-Ilgaz did you even cook? -asked Ceylin surprised but at the same time, she was a little angry at Ilgaz because he did too much while the doctor said he need to sleep and relax for a few days.
-For you anything, dear.
Ilgaz brought the food, and he sits down, but not across the table as he does usually, but right next to Ceylin. They finished the food while they were talking about the hearing. After Ilgaz took the plates, he came back with a little box in one of his hands, and he put it right in front of Ceylin. Ceylin looked at Ilgaz who sits back in his chair.
-I know I should be on my knees but forgive me I can't right now. Ceylin, I have had these rings for a while. I always wanted to give it to you, just we always faced something painful. When we agreed to get divorced, I couldn't even imagine giving you any time this ring. – Ilgaz sound nervous.
-All my life I wanted to live like my parents, they love that they had always inspired me. I never thought that one day I will live with somebody even more than they did... You know when we first met, I really wanted to throw you out of my office. - smiled Ilgaz- Then when I asked you to be Cinar's lawyer, I was already amazed by you, and you told me that I'm not your type... If I knew back then how I'm not your type- both started to laugh, but Ilgaz continued his speech.
- Do you remember our first hug? After that every day I wanted to be next to you, to feel your heartbeat again near my heart. Neyse, I will not tell our full story, you lived it with me. But the first time when I told you "I love you!" that was the day when I realized I can't live without you. When you showed up at my door that night, I didn't want anything more just to kiss you and fell asleep with you. So, the next days were the most painful days because I wasn't sure if you want me as much as I want you. Then that night when we finally kissed, I was amazed by you. Then everything went with the flow. The first "I love you!" from you was the most precious promise for a new life. I know why you left me the first time, because of my aunt and father. The second time was my father's sin, and the third time I left you because I didn't want to hurt you even more. But I always loved you. Tamam, I think I should finish this monologue you are about to cry, and I don't want it. I know our life isn't easy, and sometimes it will be a mess just my speech. But... Ceylin, I love you more than my life, more than anything in this life, you made me a real person, showed me what means the real love, you are my right and wrong, you are my start and finish line, you are the most precious human in my life. I want to spend my whole life with you. Ceylin Erguvan Kaya will you be my wife until the end of my life? Will you be the trouble on my head after everything we went through? -Ilgaz finished his speech and opened the box, waiting for Ceylin's answer with teary eyes. When Ceylin started to talk her voice was trembling because of all the emotions she had.
-Ilgaz... can I say something too, before I answer your question? I never thought you will ever love me this much; you gave up everything to be with me. I never thought I will be good enough for you. You are the reason why I live, to want to live this life. You are my everything as I said the only person I hold in this life. Thank you for loving me. But I remember you said that I'm not your type either... Ama let's forget that past- laugh Ceylin with tears in her eyes. - I love you, you are me right and wrong, my life, my everything. Evet I will be your wife for the rest of our life! - Ilgaz lifted Ceylin from the chair to kiss her, the moment when their lips meet each other Ilgaz lifted Ceylin in his arms and carried her to the bedroom, while they were kissing.
They take down each other clothes and loved each other like never before. After they were cuddling on the bed, it was already dark outside, when Ceylin asked Ilgaz.
-Ilgaz, can I ask something?
-Anything dear.
-When did you buy the rings?
-Good question, remember the first night in my apartment after we became a couple?
-Yes, I remember. - said Ceylin with confusion, because that was months ago already.
-So, the next day, I went out to buy them. When I went to buy lunch for you in the office.
-Ilgaz that was long ago, you carried with you the rings?
-Evet- Ilgaz kissed Ceylin again.
-Seni Seviyorum!
-Seni Seviyorum!
-Promise me that you will not lift anything while you have stitches, not even me. Tamam?
-Tamam Ceylin, stay calm I'm fine.

Bye!"- Both of them started to laugh how they remembered their friend's face while he said these words. Ceylin turns his face in Ilgaz naked chest and kissed the place where his heart is. Ilgaz kissed Ceylin hair and they fell asleep in each other arms.
