Two days later, the trip was over and we all went back home. My parents dropped me off at Walton's house on our way home.
The first few hours of my stay there, me and Jayla went live, followed by us re-watching the 'Pretty little liars' series and discussing our opinions on the show. While we were listing out things that we could do to fill our free time up with, I suddenly got an idea,
"Hey, Jay?" I said, getting a muffled 'mhmm' in return.
"How about we go in the pool with Jaden and Wanna?"
She suddenly jumped from her seat, clearly on board with the suggestion, replying with an excited─ "Sure!" before gesturing for me to follow her, which I quickly obeyed.
She led me to her room, where I got offered one of her bikinis, or at least that's what I thought since she threw it at my face the moment I catched up with her to the room.
She offered me a royal blue bathing suit with a separate top and bottom, which I gladly accepted. She, on the other hand, put on a white one, accompanied by a pair of black sunglasses.
Me and Jayla went in the pool, completely forgetting about the boys, and got lost in a deep conversation. It was interesting enough for us not to notice the brothers passing by.
Javon's POV:
Me and Jaden were wandering around the house, searching for my sister and Nicky, because we were bored out of our minds, then we saw them talking in the pool. Nicky was wearing a royal blue bikini which complimented her lucious brown hair, and her body was beautiful, every single one of her curves made me want to jump in there and kiss her.
Nicole's POV:
As soon as I saw them standing beside us, I got an idea. I asked Javon to help me get out of the pool, and he immediately came next to me like a lost puppy. He took my hand in his and as soon as he did, I used all my strength to push him in the pool with me. As soon as he resurfaced, I felt my legs being pulled underwater, the actions coming as a shock so that I couldn't grad onto the pool to hold on. Javon pulled me and him underwater, which he surely regretted, because, as soon as we were back on the surface, I started repeatedly hitting him, though he was laughing uncontrollably.
Seeming to realize he was still fully dressed, he took off his now soaked shirt, which left him standing in the pool in shorts. He had toned abs, that much not surprising, but still enough to make me stare. The second I saw a smirk making Its way on his face, I looked back up at his eyes and rolled mine.
After a while, we ended up deciding to split up in teams of two and fight. I was on Javon's shoulders, while Jayla was on Jaden's. Once I was steady on his shoulders, we started fighting. Me and Javon ended up winning, which led to us constantly teasing them about it.
The day went by rather quickly. Javon was persistent for me to go back home tonight and spend time with my family, which was weird and out of order for him, but I agreed anyway, blaming his sudden mood swing on the career the 15 year old boy was building.
After I went home, I spent the whole night talking to my family and ended up falling asleep on the couch next to my brother.
I woke up the next morning and decided to visit the Waltons.
I brushed my teeth after I had eaten breakfast, followed by me dressing up. I decided to wear something fun, so I put on a short summer dress accompanied by my favorite Nike footwear. I put on a crazy amount of blush and just as I was about to go out, I received a text.

Good, what about you?
I just went out actually, I was coming to your house, if that's okay?
Jayla ♡
Oh, okay great, because I was thinking that we could have a girls day maybe? I'm ready to go if you want to go ((:
Of course, I can't wait!! I'll be at your place at 15.
Where are we going?

Great, I'm waiting for you in my car, oh and don't bother checking the house for Javon, he's out somewhere. I have a few shops planned for us

Right as I answered her last message, I had gone out of my house. Fifteen minutes later, I was nearing Jayla's car. Just as I opened it, she spoke.
"Hey, are you all ready to go?"
"Yes, though I'm still skeptical on where you're taking me" I replied as my brows furrowed.
She chucked silently, "Don't worry, I'm not kidnapping you, though, this place may be your new obsession. I recently found out about it, and if It's as good as it looks, then it will be our new favorite hang out spot"
"That sound a little too good to be true, Jay"
We both spent the next 20 minutes screaming our lungs out to Taylor Swift while Jayla drove us to the mysterious place. When we finally arrived at our destination, my first thought was how in the hell did she find this place?
The small coffee shop had an 'old money' vibe attached to it─ from the walls to the smallest details, the whole shop was perfect.
"Jayla!" I exclaimed. "How on earth did you find out about this place?"
She shrugged, adding "Tik tok"

We had sat there for about 45 minutes, before the small coffee place started filling up with people and Jayla and I both decided to visit shops near it. Our first stop was Tiffany's, where we got matching rings. Then, we stopped by Nike, where I bought a pair of shoes and Jayla bought herself a backpack, and then we finally went home.
She told me to go home for a little bit, and then meet her in her house at 6 pm wearing something casual, which was really weird, but I guess I'll have to find out later.
-- time skip to 5 pm --
I checked the time, 5 pm. I had about 45 minutes to get ready, so I better start now. Since Jayla told me to be casual, I wore a beige mini skirt, accompanied by a tight black t-shirt. I did simple makeup, put on a pair of black heels and was ready to go.

Javon's POV:
I was putting up the last finishing touches, when Jayla called out from the kitchen.
"Javon"
"Yeah, what's up?"
"She is gonna be here in minutes so hurry up!"
"Okay I'm almost ready!"
I stepped back and looked at everything─ the promise ring, the tulips, it was going to be perfect. It had to be.
Just as I was lost in my thoughts, I heard a knock on the door and knew it was time. My siblings both rushed to the stairs as I quickly made my way to the front door of our house, trying not to trip over my slightly trembling legs.
"Hi, love" I smiled at her, fidgeting with my fingers. Okay, she definetly knew something was up with the way I'm acting.
"Hey, what's up?" she asked while smiling and looking around the house for any familiar faces. "Where is everyone?"
"That doesn't matter, could you close your eyes please?"
She narrowed her eyes on me and reluctantly closed them, with me guiding her to the living room, where I had set up the gifts. When we went into the room, I put on a nervous smile and told her to open her eyes.
As soon as I saw those beautiful brown eyes again, she looked around with her mouth slightly parted, just like the way it was when she slept in my arms. A few seconds passed, and she looked back up at me, inspecting every detail on my face. I grinned widely, and she returned the gesture with a heartfelt smile.
"My sweet Nicole, since the moment I saw you, I thought you were the most magnificent and the most beautiful girl in this world. I have loved every peaceful moment spent with you, and I want to have so much more of those memories with you," I paused for a slightly shaky breath, "Can I be yours?"
She looked at me with glistening eyes, "Yes".
That was all he needed, before pulling her into a slow, but passionate kiss as if they had all of the time in the world. One simple gesture that speaks so many words, yet so magical.
And there they stood, appreciating all the time they spent together as unknown to lovers.
