"Wow! This is huge," Yedam said as they walked into Jaehyuk's condominium. "Oh! Hyunsuk is already here,"
"Yeah," I said. I just walked in from the balcony as I heard Yedam's voice from the inside. I just stand there because they have been walking around.
"Have you been here, Asahi?" Junkyu asked.
"Yeah. Couple of times," Asahi responded.
"What are you doing here, huh?" Junkyu asked mischievously.
"Just being here doing nothing," Asahi answered flatly. But I saw his ears turned red. I'm not going to say anything.
"Aye. Do you think I'm gonna accept that answer?" Junkyu asked. "Tell me what you did here,"
"I didn't know Junkyu is the type who tease people," Jihoon said suddenly. I looked at him who's standing beside me. "He always being angry and frowned when I bothered him,"
"He's always like that. When he's around the people he close with, he can be quite hyper. And when he's around people who he don't familiar being with, he can be cold," I said. "I guess he consider you quite close with him seeing his how he acted around you lately,"
"I'm glad. But he still look like he hate me," he said.
"Don't worry. He didn't hate you. If not he won't even talk to you at all," I said.
"I bought some beers," Yoshi said as he entered the condominium.
"Me too," Doyoung said, entering the condominium right after Yoshi.
"Eh? Yoshinori?" I heard Mashiho's voice. Did he know Yoshi.
"Mashiho?" Yoshi replied. "I thought you're still in Japan,"
"I just arrived today," Mashiho said.
"You guys knew each other?" Yedam asked.
"Remember the boy that has been following me around since kindergarten that I've told you? He's that boy. Takata Mashiho. I just found out that he's studying at our college as well but he has been in Japan for the exchange program," Yoshi said.
"Wah. He has been following you for ages," Junkyu said. "Hi. My name is Kim Junkyu,"
"Why did he suddenly introducing himself? I thought he's not so friendly with strangers," Jihoon asked to me.
"Maybe he likes Mashiho," I guessed.
"Why is there so many chopsticks here? Are we going to drink it with chopsticks?" Yedam asked as he looked into the plastic bag containing the beers that Yoshi brought.
"Ah! There's another customer who buy a lot of cup ramyeon. Maybe the cashier misplaced it in my plastic bag," Yoshi said.
"We can play that game," Mashiho said. "Osama Game,"
"What game?" Junkyu asked.
"It's the game where the king can give an order to any number they want. First we will prepare one chopstick with king label and the rest have the number 1 to the rest number minus the king. We'll put all the labeled chopsticks in a cup and everyone have to pick one chopstick at the without looking at the label. The one who get the king can give out one order. After that, we'll collect all of the chopsticks and start a new round," Mashiho explained.
"Sounds fun. Let's do it!" Yedam said.
The twelve of us sit in a circle around circling the foods and beverages. Yoshi is still labelling the chopsticks while the other started to eat and drink. After Yoshi done setting it up. We took turn to pick the chopstick and covered the labeled part with our hand until everyone already get their own chopsticks.
"Okay. Who's the king?" Mashiho asked.
"Me," Jaehyuk showed his chopstick. "So, I as the king ordered Asahi to kiss the king,"
"Yah! That's not how it's work," Mashiho shouted. I see Asahi showed his chopstick's label to Jaehyuk and whispered something.
"Okay. Number 7 kiss the king," Jaehyuk said. Asahi showed his chopstick and kissed Jaehyuk's left cheeks.
"You cheaters!" Junkyu said.
"Okay. Okay. next round," Jaehyuk collected the chopsticks and put it in the cup. He mixed it and let us picked in again.
"The king?" Jaehyuk asked.
"Me," Jihoon said while showing his chopstick's label. "Okay. Number 11 say 'I love you' to number 9,"
"Who's number 11?" Mashiho asked.
"Me," Junghwan said.
"Ugh! I'm the 9," Doyoung said.
"Doyoung-ah," Junghwan called Doyoung's name. Doyoung raised up his head lazily and looked at Junghwan. "I love you,"
"Okay! Thank you for your cooperation," Jihoon said while collecting back the chopsticks.
"Number 3 and number 8. Feed each other," Asahi ordered when he get the King's chopstick.
Haruto who's number 3 and Mashiho who's number 8 feed each other the chicken.
"Number 7. Aegyo," I ordered as I got the King's chopstick for this round. Jeongwoo who's number 7 did some aegyo.
"Number 10 flick number 6's forehead," Junkyu ordered.
Number 10, Doyoung happily flicked number 6, Junghwan's forehead.
"Finally. Number 7 tell number 5 mean things," Doyoung said as he get the King's chopstick. "The meaner the better,"
"You're so mean," Yedam said.
"Let me be," Doyoung said.
I looked at my chopstick and sighed. I'm the number 7. I wonder who got the number 5.
"Who's number 7? I'm ready for the meanie time," Jihoon said.
"Eh? You number 5?" I asked.
"Yeah," Jihoon showed his chopstick. "Are you the 7?"
I nodded and showed him my chopstick.
"This is going to be fun," Doyoung said.
"Okay. I'm ready," Jihoon said. What should I say?
"Um.. Park Jihoon. We should stop be friend, I guess. Because to be honest, I hate you," I said. Is it mean enough? I see that the kids look very interested to know what I'll say next. "Don't get me wrong. Cause I've never really liked you. I just following the flow. And well you think that we're best friends now. But I can't do it anymore. It was never fun to be with you. So stop calling me your friend,"
I can see Jihoon's expression turned a bit darker. Is my words actually mean?
"Okay! That's mean enough. Next round!" Doyoung said while collecting the chopsticks.
"Sorry, guys. I need to use the bathroom," Junghwan said.
"Okay let's pause the game for a bit," Mashiho said. Some of the kids stood up and walked around the condominium. They either went to the kitchen, bathroom or the balcony.
I took another piece of pizza because I just manage to eat one piece while playing because I'm too focused on it. I looked at my left as I felt like someone is sitting there. It's Park Jihoon.
"Do you really mean it?" Jihoon asked.
"About what?" I asked while munching the pizza.
"That you don't like me and want to stop being friend with me and that you just be friend with me because you just go with the flow and that you don't have fun with me?" Jihoon asked. I looked at his face. He really looked down.
"Of course not. It's just a game, Park Jihoon," I said. "It's totally the opposite, whatever I said just now,"
"Really?" Jihoon asked, wanting a confirmation. I gave him a smile and patted his shoulder. Then I just continue to eat. "Hyunsuk-ah. Tell me,"
I giggled as I eat. How can I hate him when I've been liking him for months. I've been trying to get rid of my feeling toward him but being with him just make me like him even more. And I definitely will never say that to Jihoon, right?
"Hyunsuk-ah... I'm upset. Cheer me up," he said while casually hugging my left arm and resting his head on my shoulder. I feel like my heart stopped beating before thumping faster and louder so sudden. I have to act calm. Keep calm. I take a piece of pizza and shove it into his mouth. "Yah!"
"Just eat it," I said before continue to eat. But Jihoon still hugging my arm while eating the pizza I shoved into his mouth. I'll just pray that he'll can't hear my heart beat.
