Ah yes, another stupid bloody festival. No it won't literally be bloody, probably will be stupid. Anyways, you and Tadano are listening to a shit load of prompts about what the class is doing for the festival. Najimi practically did all the talking though.
Y/N: 'I wanna die...'

Anyways, there was a lot of ideas like maid cafes, haunted houses, bands, frickin uhh... whack-a-mole or something, and stages... All of them backed up with Komi as evidence for some reason.
Y/N: 'Why was I vice-president anyway?'
You wonder to yourself. Tadano goes to talk with Komi about what she wants to do for the festival, you head to Nene.
Y/N: Hello...
Nene: That looked quite rough up there.
Y/N: It was pretty bad.
Nene: I just wanna make rice balls or something.
Y/N: I would call you stupid if your rice balls didn't taste as heavenly as they do.
Nene: Glad you like them! Also, I heard you learned how to brew coffee.
Y/N: Yeah, I still don't drink it though.
Nene: Oh really?
Y/N: I only really drink water, milk and hot chocolate.
Nene: Huh. That's new.
Y/N: I doubt that we're gonna do a maid cafe though.
Nene: Yeah, it sounds pretty unlikely because of how overused it is.
Najimi: Komi-San wants to do a maid cafe!!!
Everybody else: MAID CAFE!!!
Y/N: I stand corrected...
Nene: Welp, might as well vote for it too.

You were helping around, organizing placements and putting up curtains. You overhear people talking about budget and materials. You just finished hanging up a side of the curtains.
Kaede: *very slowly* Hey, Koooommmmiiii-saaaaannn, do you want to come with me to buy materialssss?
Oh yeah, it's her. Anyways, Komi trembles in nervousness. Nene decides to tag along like the big sister she is.
Nene: Ill go too. I'll look after the both of them.
Hearing this, you also decide to tag along. Why? Everything else was already being done by everyone so you had nothing to do. Also Komi is a on throne for some odd reason.
Y/N: I'll go too, just to make sure everything goes well.
You hear a few people whisper about you behind your back. They weren't even subtle about it... A lot of students suggested they go until some crap happens and they all do their work in order to finish the cafe.
After leaving to buy stuff (within the budget). You follow the group, only to realize that Kaede is falling behind.
Y/N: Hmm?!
She seems to be in wonderland... Maybe you should tell her to pick up the pace or something...
Y/N: Hey Kaede-San.
Or talk to her... It's more interesting anyways.
Kaede: *slowly* Ah, hello there L/N-San.
Y/N: You having fun?
She seems to not have a single thought in her brain. You wished you were carefree like that sometimes.
Kaede: Yeeeessssss...
Y/N: Alright.
You slowly walk until you realize you were far behind Komi and Nene. You grab Kaede's shoulder and speed walk to the 2.
Kaede: *slowly* Weeeeeee...
Y/N: Wow.
After arriving at the shop, which seemingly felt like forever, you guys decide to look for the crap.
Nene: Alright so planks, paint, cloth.
Y/N: That should be it.
Nene: Alright let's split up gang-
Nene stops when she sees that leaving Komi and Kaede might not be a good idea.
Nene: Actually, Y/N you take Kaede-San and I'll take Komi-San...
Hearing this, you immediately sweat drop.
Y/N: That's fair.
Komi looks at the both of you surprised. Probably from the use of first names.
Y/N: I'll take the cloth and you take the paint. We'll meet up and look for planks.
Nene: Sure.
After splitting up, you look around for cloth with Kaede.
Y/N: Hey Kaede-San, what colors should we get?
Kaede: *slowly* Huuuhh? Oh... Whichever you want.
Y/N: Bruh...
After picking a few of the colors, you go to meet up with Nene, grasping Kaede's shoulder the entire time.
Y/N: Ah shoot!
You slip over and drop all of that cloth. Way to go idiot.
Y/N: Wait... Where'd she go?!
Oh wow, she went missing... How the hell? Anyways, you look around for Kaede only to bump into Nene.
Y/N: Have you seen Kaede-San?
Nene: Have you seen Komi-San?
Y/N and Nene: Huh?! We lost them?!
Nene: While I was getting the paint, she just ran off...
Y/N: I tripped and let go of Kaede for like a second and she disappeared.
Nene: Wow, that sounds troublesome.
Y/N: We got our cloth at the very least...
Nene: Hah! We got both the paint and planks!
Y/N: Huh?! That fast?!
Nene: Yeah, anyways, I think we should look for them.
Y/N: Probably.

Oh my god you actually found them. That took so damn long.
Nene: Jeez, don't do that to us...
Kaede: *slowly* Onemine-San! Komi-San is now my friend!
Y/N: That's cool.
Nene: Ah, isn't that great?
Kaede: *slowly* You guys are my friends too!
Y/N: Ah, thank you Kaede-San.
Nene: Thanks!
We walk around further and in anime fashion, we turn around and motivate each other.
Kaede: *slowly* Let's all do our best for this festival!
After a long pause, you hear something you never thought you'd ever hear.
Komi: Yes.
Y/N: Pfft!
Nene: 'She spoke?!'
Komi walks ahead of all of you guys. As you guys make into the school, you complain.
Y/N: Why do I have to carry the paint and the planks?
Nene: Because we got both of them without you helping.
Y/N: Bruh...

After telling the class you'd be in charge of the sweets and coffee, you head to your parents' restaurant. To your surprise, it was closed today.
Y/N: Hey mom, hey dad.
F/N: Ah kid! Perfect timing!
M/N: We have new uniforms for you to try out!
Y/N: Huh?
Your mother picks out a literal butler outfit... Oh how convenient. You decide to change into them later.
Y/N: Oh... Anyways, what baked goods would be nice in a cafe?
M/N: I don't know.
F/N: Ah! Brownies, croissants, and cakes!
Y/N: Oh, thank you.
M/N: Why are you asking this? Don't you have class?
Just as you are about to explain, Najimi busts down the door (not literally) and hands your parents a flier.
Najimi: Hello! Please come to our maid cafe in Itan private high school!
Y/N: Why are you here? The store is closed...
Najimi: What? I'm sorry you're gonna have to speak up.
Y/N: Nevermind...
F/N: A maid cafe?
M/N: I want to go.
F/N: Huh?!
M/N: It's the work of our son! We should go so we acknowledge his work!
F/N: You just wanna go for the sake of the maids right?
M/N: Absolutely, I could learn from them.
After grabbing your new uniform, you leave whilst kicking Najimi out of the store.
Najimi: See ya!
Y/N: Later.
After heading back to school, you prepare the ingredients that you brought as a test and head to the kitchen, with permission from teachers of course.
Y/N: Alright... Time to get to work.
After preparing cakes and brownies, along with a few croissants, which you somehow learned to make, you decide to give the treats to the Normie squad. You head outside and find them in the hallway.
Y/N: Hey, you guys wanna try some of the stuff I made?
Chiarai: Huh?! Oh thank god, something to eat.
Sonoda: I am so tired...
Shinobino: Thank you very much L/N-San.
You were pretty nervous about how they'd feel. But they don't hate your guts so they might not kill you if it's bad.
Chiarai: Oh my god...
Sonoda: This is...
Shinobino: What?!
Y/N: 'Shit... It was probably bad...'
Chiarai: It's so good!
Sonoda: This is amazing!
Shinobino: What?! This is really good!
Oh. It wasn't shit. In fact, they all really liked it.
Y/N: Oh thank god...
Chiarai: This is great! We're so doing this!
Sonoda: Let's do this for Komi-San!
After their little celebration, you head back and clean up the kitchen a bit. You were now gonna help prepare for the cafe.

It was the last night before the festival, you already informed your parents that you were staying overnight.
You were so damn tired, you stepped out of the classroom and into the kitchen to make yourself a cup of coffee to stay awake. It was something you never thought you'd do.
Y/N: Mmm... I need to stay awake...
After making something which... wasn't a coffee and more of a hot cocoa, you take a swig. Even the heat of the drink doesn't bother you much.
You head back to the classroom only to find everybody cheering over rice balls. Rice balls...
Y/N: Oh...
Nene: There you are!
Y/N: Ah... Hey Nene.
Nene: You got yourself a drink.
Y/N: I'm so damn tired...
Nene: Well here you go!
Y/N: Huh? A riceball?
Nene: A special one! One just for you.
Y/N: O-oh, thanks.
After taking a bite, you find yourself weirdly mesmerized by the softness and flavor of the filling. The filling was a tuna mayo combo, which you thought was quite good.
Y/N: This is really good...
Nene: Glad you like it.
Y/N: Thank you.
Nene: Don't sweat it!
You turn to see Komi blushing while looking at Tadano eating a riceball, which wasn't really a ball and more of a cube...
Y/N: Ah, I'm guessing Tadano is eating Komi-San's riceball.
Nene: Wow, thats pretty spot on.
(Timeskip again)
Ah yes, you changed out of your school uniform into that glorified butler outfit your parents got you.
Y/N: This is strangely comfortable.
Huh?! Really?! That's comfortable?! I wish clothes that looked fancy were comfortable...
After exiting the changing room and heading to the back to prepare coffee, you're met with a lot of stares, making you very nervous.
Y/N: 'I was nervous before but now everybody is staring at me... Do I look weird?'
After setting side your thoughts, you decided to sit back and take orders. You had started baking some sweets and brewing coffee. It was sort of lonely with the occasional Najimi picking it up and serving it.
Y/N: Huh...
Soon enough, Nene joined you. She started preparing the cups and plating to make it easier on you.
Nene: Huh, you look really good right now.
Y/N: Thank you... I'm scared of what other people think though...
Nene: Huh?! Why's that?!
Y/N: Some people were staring at me... I think they might be judging me or something...
Nene: Oh.
Y/N: It doesn't help that I'm already super nervous...
Then someone strange decides to walk in. The person shocked you to your very core.
Y/N: PFFT!
Your good pal Tadano was dressed in a maid outfit and had a pink wig and everything.
Y/N: Is that you?!
Nene was trying her best to hold back her laughter while you were just confused.
Tadano: Yeah...
Y/N: Was it Najimi-San?
Tadano: Yes.
You decide to go outside and grab Najimi. They were probably up to no good. You find Najimi telling Komi to do a walk around the hall. You swiftly bonk Najimi in the head and drag them back inside. You come outside to tell Komi some stuff. Idk.
Y/N: Please don't listen to Najimi-San. They're probably up to no good...
Komi just silently nods. You were glad the customers were too focused on their own to pay attention to you. You head back inside the kitchen area, hidden from all sight.
Najimi: Oh L/N-San, your outfit is turning me on~
Y/N: Bruh...
Nene: I know right?
Y/N: Huh?
That was weird... Anyways, you realize that basically all the pastries and baked goods have been sold out. You head outside to change some of the signs and add sold out signs. While walking back to the kitchen area, yiy see someone that resembles Komi a lot.
You hear a lot squealing and find a swarm of maids squealing over this Komi like guy. I mean you were also caught in the swarm but it's not like they liked you or anything.
Student: EEEEH! THEY'RE BOTH SO CUTE!
Y/N: 'Huh?'
They had placed this Komi-like guy on the throne, which you assumed was Komi's brother, you were placed next to him to make it look like a butler serving a king or something like that. He suddenly leaves due to being weirded out and you couldn't blame him. It's also strange how everyone doesn't recognize your goofy ahh face.
Najimi: L/N-San! We need a brew right now!
Y/N: Coming...
You quickly head back to quickly prepare that coffee. After finishing it, you serve it to someone that was probably Komi's mother.
Y/N: Here you go master.
Komi's mother: Ah! Thank you sweetie!
After politely leaving, you catch in the corner of your eye, your family arriving. Also, Tadano's sister was there. Tadano's sister takes a picture and shows it to your sister, who then walk off. Your parents then go inside. This was a moment you dreaded. You quickly run back into the kitchen area.
Nene: Hey, what was happening out there?
Y/N: I don't know...
Nene: You look very tired.
Y/N: Yeah, I am.
Nene: Jeez, you should take a small break...
Najimi comes in with a coffee order, which you recognize to be your parents' usual coffee order.
Y/N: We're almost sold out anyway, might as well work til the end.
Najimi: Oh really?
Nene checks the amount of stuff you guys have and makes a decision.
Nene: Yep, this is probably the last order.
Y/N: Ah thank god...
After you tell Najimi to go put up the sold out signs, you head to brew the last order (which was surprisingly for your parents').
Nene: You good?
Y/N: A little stressed, this order is probably from my parents.
Nene: Ah... Why not add a little special decoration at the top? With that cream and stuff.
Y/N: You know how to do that?
Nene: YouTube tutorials.
Y/N: Fair enough.
After she helps decorate the coffee with that cream stuff or whatever, she gives it to you.
Nene: C'mon now, try giving it to your parents.
Y/N: Hmm? Why?
Nene: Well, firstly, you show them that you can make a good brew and secondly, you show them that outfit you're wearing.
Y/N: Uhh... I feel like this outfit is garnering a lot of confusing responses.
Nene: Eh, it looks sensual.
Upon hearing this, you blush.
Nene: Good luck, I'm gonna start cleaning up.
Y/N: I have a question, why aren't you dressed up?
Nene: Huh? Do you want to see me in a maid outfit?
Y/N: Nah, just curious. The idea of maid and master is something I'm unfamiliar with.
Nene: Oh, that's fair. Well, it's because I'm not serving anybody now.
Y/N: Ah yeah, that's fair.
Nene: Well, good luck!
Y/N: Thanks.
You head outside to see your parents discussing with Komi's mother. You gently place the drink on the table.
Y/N: Here you go, masters.
You quickly bow and quickly try to head back. Your father quickly takes a sip. You are however, stopped by your father.
F/N: Please stay here kid.
He looks at you for a bit, a lot of eyes can be seen looking at you and your father. You were pretty nervous but your... well 'mask' was handy for this specific situation. I think...
F/N: That was really good, well done kid!
He grabs you and ruffles your hair, messing with your (somewhat) formal hairstyle. You hear a lot of 'awwws' coming from the back.
Y/N: Glad you liked it.
M/N: Please make this for me in the morning...
Komi's mother: Isn't that adorable!
After everybody leaves and everything is cleaned up. You decide to meet up with Nene.
Y/N: Hi...
Nene: Oh! Wanna go explore?
Y/N: Sure...
You decide to follow her. That is, until you are hit with a giant wave of fatigue, your body becomes really heavy and everything goes dark. Your body hits the floor with a thud.
You legit just passed out from exhaustion in front of your loving girlfriend. In the middle of the classroom.
Alright man, don't die on me now... Ugh, whatever, plot armor is a thing anyway.
