It's morning, why is it morning? I'm to sleeply to move a muscle...
The door opened but I'm too lazy to get up.
"Azubah, wake up." Someone shook my body
Keep pretending that you're asleep Azubah, keep pretending...
"If you don't wake up, we're going to leave you."
I don't want to go anywhere so go ahead and leave me.
"Azubah come on, wake up."
I'm going much more sleepy...how is that even possible?
[Few minutes later]
Sitting up in bed, I noticed how quiet it was.
"They really did leave...That's good, now I can do whatever I want."
Getting ready for day, I decided that I'm going to wander around by the school.

[Moments later]
Walking around, I noticed Lilia and Sliver leaving Sam's mystery shop.
"Lilia! Sliver!" I ran towards them
"Young Azubah!" Lilia looked happy
Lilia held my hand as we walked to wherever they were going.
As we walked Lilia told me all about Faes and Sliver was fighting to stay awake.
"Faes have a longer life span then humans." That was the only thing I stood out to me
"That sucks booty cheeks." I mumbled
"What?" Sliver was suddenly awake
"Is this how kids talk now?" Lilia asked
"N-no! It's just that having a long life is awful..." I explained
"Awful you say?" Lilia asked
"Yeah...I certainly don't like having a long life..." I looked down
"But you're life is just starting, child." Lilia tightened his grip on my hand
Should I tell them? I already told Yuu and the other three...plus Lilia has a long life span.
"I'm older than Sliver, but probably younger than you." I mumbled
"Huh?" Sliver looked at me
"What do you mean, child?"
"I've been eight for hundred of years. Demons have a long life span too." I said
"That explains why your brothers have horns." Sliver said
"Still, compared to your brothers you're a baby, am I right?" Lilia asked. "Even to me you're a baby."
"I guess so..."
"You may have lived longer then me but your mind is still a child." Sliver ruffled my hair
"If I had a normal life span then I'll would've been able to live a short life without Papa but I have to live longer without him." I mumbled
"Azubah?" They both looked at me with concern
"I'm going to continue exploring the school! Bye, bye!" I quickly ran off
|Night Raven College: Courtyard|
"Is that Lucius?" I saw a ball of fluff in a tree.
"Meow" Lucius meowed
"It is you. What are you doing here?" I asked
"Lucius." A voice called from behind
"Good day, Professor Trein." I greeted him
"Hello, Azubah." Professor Trein looked at me
Lucius jumped down from the tree and walked to Professor Trein letting him pick Lucius up.
"Where's is Yuu at? Usually you're with him." Professor Trein said
"Mrrrrow" Lucius agreed
"I'm exploring the school so I won't get lost." I told him
"I see, well, behave when you're exploring." Professor Trein patted my head
|Hallway|
"I should go to the Heartslabyul dorm. They were talking about going over there last night." I looked over the leadge
"Be careful." Someone told me
Turning to see who said that, the person was Professor Crewel.
"Puppies that aren't careful fall to their death." He said
"I won't die from a short fall. I'll probably just get injured." I pouted
"I don't know if you're brave or just plain stupid." He sighed
"Professor Crewel, how much would this sell for?" I took out a grimm coin and showed him
"Hm, where did you get a gold coin from?" Professor Crewel asked
"That's the currency where I'm from!" I smiled
"Probably around 900 Thaumarks from Sam's mystery shop." He handed me the coin back
"So I can sell this at the school shop?" I lit up
"Yes, you can." He confirmed
"Peace! Professor Crewel!" I waved

"This is the place!" I looked at the tiny house
"Time to get money!" I happily skipped to the door.
"Whoa, this place looks cool." My eyes wandered everywhere
"Hello welcome to Mister S's Mystery Shop. What among my humble selection interests you?" A voice spoke
I whipped around to face shop keeper. "Hello, I'm here to sell not buy." I walked to him
"What do you have?" He asked
"I have this!" I dug into my bag to show him the Grimm coin
"Whoa, this is pure gold!" He examined it
"How much could I get? Good sir." I leaned on the counter
"I could give you 1,000 Thaumarks right now." He smiled. "But you can sell it for more in town."
"A-a 1,000!? Really! DEAL SAM!" I shook his hand
Sam gave me the Thaumarks and he gave me two cans of tuna for Grim.
"Come back for more deals, my little demon." Sam waved
"Did he call me a demon??"

{Third Person}
"When I tell Yuu and Grim that I have money they'll think I'm so cool!" She walked into Heartslabyul mirror
"It's pretty empty here." The dorm was practically deserted. "Where is everyone?"
Hearing talking in the distance, she walked over to rose maze and saw everyone over there.
"HEY YUU! GUESS WHAT I JUST GOT!" Azubah ran over to him
"SHUT YOUR SPOILED LITTLE MOUTH!!" Ace landed a punch on Riddle's face
"A-Ace?!" Deuce and Yuu gasped
"EHHHHHHH?!" Azubah stopped in her tracks
I thought the plan was to give Riddle the tart not PUNCH HIM THE FACE
Riddle was on the ground holding his cheek, as the Heartslabyul students gasped in horror.
"He punched the Dorm Prefect!?"
"Riddle?!" Trey and Cater consoled Riddle
"Did you see that right hook, Yuu?" Grim cheered
Ace pointed a finger at Riddle. "Ah, I'm tired. I don't care about you or this duel anymore."
"That hurt!? You...punched me..." Riddle stared in shock at Ace
Azubah stayed in place because she's confused about what's happening so it's better to wait and watch.
"Kids aren't their parents' trophies. Your parents aren't the ones who decide what you're worth. I finally understand that you being a trashy person isn't you mom or dad's fault at all! You've been in this school for a year! And the one to blame is that bastard you call a friend, who did nothing but turn a blind eye to your selfishness!" Ace declared
"What are you saying...?" Riddle's face started getting red
"And I understand that your mom raised you the way she did, but is 'Mama this, Mama that' all you can say?! You're not capable of thinking for yourself!?" Ace ranted more. "To hell with that 'Red Ruler' bullshit! You're just a baby who happens to be gifted with magic!"
"Baby, you say...? Me...?! You know nothing and yet... You don't know anything about me and yet...!" Riddle's face got redder and redder in anger
"Yeah, I don't. I don't know a damn thing!" He yelled at Riddle. "Do you think that I'd know anything with that attitude of yours?"
"...Shut up, shut up, shut UP!" Riddle started yelling. "MOTHER IS RIGHT! THAT IS WHY I AM ALWAYS RIGHT!"
Trey stepped in. "Riddle, calm down, the duel is already over."
"Mr. Clover is right." The headmaster spoke up. "Any attacks done outside of the duel will nullify you victory. If you continue this any further, you will be violating the rules!"
"I agree with the freshman! I've had enough with this, too!" A student yelled from the crowd
*SPLAT!*
"What was that- an egg!? Did someone throw that?!" Trey looked around
"Who threw that egg at me?!" Riddle demanded
No one spoke up, the silence was loud.
"Ha...hahahaha...!" Riddle began to laugh, as he stood up
"HAHAHAHA! You've had enough? I'M the one who's had enough! No matter how much I've warned you, no matter how strict I've gotten, you all just keep breaking the rules. Every single one of you, YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS WHO THINK OF YOURSELVES!" He breathed heavily. "Very well. If no one will admit, then I'll have you all take responsibility. Off with all your heads!" He shouted
"OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!"
Screams were heard from all around the Tea Garden as collars snapped.
"AHHH!! RUN AWAY!!"
"Urk! This collar is- !"
"AHAHAH! How's that? Now none of you can raise a hand against me! Hahaha, I knew it. I'm the only one who's right because I protect the rules!"
"Please stop, Rosehearts! Not following the rules is not like you at all!" Crowley yelled
"Trey, this looks bad..." Cater whispered to Trey. "If this goes on, he'll..."
"Riddle, that's enough!" Trey shouted
"Hey, you! Not everything will go the way you want it to, you know!? You throwing a tantrum like this is exactly why I called you a baby!" Ace yelled
"TAKE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW! DO YOU WANT TO GET SKEWER!?" Riddle's face was super red
"Hell no. Never." Ace replied
"UGYYYYYYYYYY!!"
"This is getting really bad! You guys need to get out of here!" Cater ushered students to the exit
Purple mist surrounded the garden and trees were floating.
"What distorted magic! Does he plan on using it on Ace!" Deuce yelled in terror
"ROSE TREES, TEAR THAT MAN'S BODY APART!"
"This is bad! Get out of the way!" Crowley yelled at Ace

I watched in horror as the trees go towards Ace. Everything seemed be in slow motion.
No, no, not again...
I don't want anyone else taken away from me...
My legs started moving on it's own
Ace stood in fear, he could only stare at the trees coming his way. Yuu made it to Ace, he shielded him from the trees.
An all too familiar scene, someone sacrificing themselves for someone else.
"Azubah! It's too dangerous!" Cater grabbed me
"YUU! ACE!" I tried getting out of his grip
The two braced for death.
But it never came.
"We're alive?" Ace asked in disbelief
Colorful cards fluttered around the garden. Yuu let go of Ace as they both looked around.
"All the rose trees are turning into cards!" Deuce uttered. "This is..."
Getting out of Cater's arms, I run over to Yuu and Ace to hug them.
"Riddle, stop. That's enough." The one behind it all was Trey, he stood between Riddle and us
"Trey's Doodle suit! But how!?" Cater questioned in disbelief
Grim felt the weight of the collar disappear. "The magic collars are gone!"
"I told you, didn't I? My Doodle Suit can change any given situation in a short amount of time. That's why I changed Riddle's magic to be replaced with mine." Trey explained
"No way...is that even possible? That's like a cheat, isn't it?" Cater said
"Ugh...Off with your Head! I said, Off with your Head! Why are there only cards coming out!?" Riddle screamed
"Riddle, stop it. You're only hurting yourself! Look at everyone around you!" Trey lectured Riddle
The students began to whisper.
"He was serious about skewering him..."
"That's going too far..."
"He's a monster!"
"Hah? My magic was overwritten by Trey's? Does that mean his magic is stronger than mine?" Riddle didn't listen to Trey
"That's not true! Riddle, you need to calm down and listen to what they're saying!"
Riddle didn't calm down. "Are you saying that I'm wrong, too? Even after I did my best to protect all those strict rules? Even after I endured so, so many things! I won't. I will never. I WILL NEVER BELIEVE IT!"
"R-riddle..." It hurt to look at him like this
"You mustn't, Rosehearts!" Crowley told him. "If you use your magic further, your magic jewel will become tainted with blot!"
"I am- I alone am-! I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO'S RIGHT!"
"RIDDLE!" Trey screamed
Riddle's appearance completely changed. His skin was pale as snow. A black crown was on his head and he wore a ragged dress that looked like was the Queen of Hearts. His right eye glowed red and had ink splattered on his body.
A ghostly creature stood behind him. In the creature's hand was a huge rose bush.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I do not need anyone who defies me in my world. I am my world's absolute Ruler. My world itself submits to me! I will not tolerate any answers aside from 'Yes, Queen Riddle'! It's off with the heads of those who dare disobey me! AHAHAHAHAH!"
Crowley was stressed. "Ah, how could this happen? How could I let someone overblot?" He cried
"What's overblot? That guy just turned completely evil!" Grim asked
"Overblot is the one situation that all magicians should avoid. Riddle has been enveloped by so much negative energy that he lost control over his emotions and magic." Crowley explained
"I don't really get it, though?" Grim complained
"Me neither." Deuce joined in
Cater groaned. "Ah, geez! In other words, it's like an evil villain berserker mode!"
"If this goes on, Riddle's life will be in danger!" Trey added
"HIS LIFE?!" Grim's eyes widened
"The other students' lives takes more priority." Crowley declared. "I'll go help with the evacuation! Rosehearts must come to his senses before his magic consumes him."
"Losing his life is an absolute bad scenario, but even worse is..." Crowley stopped himself.
"What's worse then Riddle dying?! You stupid crow!" I yelled at him as I let go of Yuu and Ace
"In any case, you boys go get the rest of the staff and dorm heads to help control the situation-!"
"TAKE THIS!" Ace shouted as he sent his large tempest at Riddle
"COME FORTH, CAULDRON!" Deuce shouted as well
Grim shot out a blast of fire after another blast of fire. Yuu told him where to shoot.
Riddle flinched from the attacks. "You insolent littl- What are you doing?"
"H-hey! What are you guys up to!?" Cater yelped
"We have no choice!" Grim yelled back. "That guy will be in danger if we leave like that!"
"I really don't want him to go out that way. Plus-"
Ace interrupted Deuce. "I still didn't get an 'I'm sorry' or an "I was wrong'!"
"Fighting is always scary...but I don't want to run away." I said, griping my bag tightly
Trey got determined. "You guys... Got it! I can overwrite Riddle's magic for a short amount of time. When that happens, I'll leave him in your care. Headmaster, please escort everyone else to safely."
"Wait a minute, that's dangerous!" Crowley argued
"Principal's right, Trey! There's no way you can win against Riddle!" Cater was clearly against it
Ace glared at Cater. "It's too lame to keep losing to people we challenge!"
"It's totally not cool at all!" Grim added
"This the only way I can think of to get him back to his senses." Deuce said
Trey furrowed his brow. "Yeah... I can't lose him yet, there's still something I need to tell him-!"
"Ah, damn it! I get it already!" Cater got out his magic pen. "There's really no other way, huh!"
"Ah, good grief. I'll return once I escort everyone to safely, so stay safe while I'm gone, all of you!" Crowley left
Once Crowley left I started using magic, helping bring Riddle back to his senses.
After many attacks, Riddle was finally defended. He fell to his knees as the monster faded away.
"I was wrong? That can't be true, right? Mother..."
Riddle passed out
Soon Yuu passed out, before he could fall I caught him and gently laid him on the ground.
[Few Moments later]
{Third Person}
"RIDDLE!"
He slowly opened his eyes the same as Yuu.
"He's awake!" Ace exclaimed
"R-RIDDLE!!" Azubah attacked Riddle with a hug
"I thought you died! Uwaaa!" Azubah started crying
"I totally panicked...I don't know what we'd have done if you didn't wake up...!" Cater confessed
"What a relief. You've gained consciousness again." Crowley sighed
Trey helped Riddle sat up, with Azubah still hugging him. "What in the world...have I done...?" He asked
"You don't have to think about anything right now. Sleep." Trey said
"It's 'cause you spoil him like that he throws a tantrums when he gets scolded! What he did was no joke y'know? I almost died there!" Ace ranted
Deuce sighed. "Indeed. It was no joke."
"But we're glad you're safe." Yuu smiled
"Geez, you can't go wild just because you need to relieve stress." Grim crossed his arms
"I really wanted to eat that marron tart, too." Riddle mumbled
"Huh?"
"I like white roses, too. And pink flamingos are totally fine. And I prefer honey over sugar in tea. I actually like milk tea more than lemon tea. I wanted to talk with everyone after meals a lot, too." Riddle said while he patted Azubah's head
Trey's face softened. "Riddle..."
"I've always wanted to play with you more, Trey." Riddle tightly hugging Azubah
Riddle broke down crying.
"No way...Riddle is crying..." Cater said in disbelief
Ace wasn't moved. "Hey! Don't think I'll forgive you just because you're crying!"
"You really need to learn how to read the atmosphere." Deuce scolded him
Trey ignored them. "I'm sorry too, I always knew you were suffering but I kept quiet. That's why I'll say this now. Riddle, you were wrong, you should apologize to everyone."
"I'm sorry, I'm s-so sorry!" Riddle sobbed
Ace scowled. "I actually wanted you to say sorry for everything you've done, Dorm head, but...As if I'll be satisfied with a single sorry! I'll never forgive you. Ever!"
"Eh!? You're saying that even in this situation?" Cater said
"Of course! I experienced a Lotta trauma! And that marron tart I worked hard to make was thrown like garbage!" Ace argued. "I won't forgive you easily even if you cry."
"This guy's has a deep grudges on food..." Grim murmured
"No way...Then, what should I do..." Riddle asked
Ace rubbed the back of his head. "My birthday's not for a long while yet..."
Deuce had a confused face. "Huh? What are you-"
"How about we have another Unbirthday Party?" Ace suggested
"Also, bring a tart that you made next time. Ah, you can't ask Trey for help either! Make it yourself from scratch!" Ace said, pointing at Riddle. "If you do that, then I may or may not forgive you..."
"But you had help making the tart." Yuu faceplamed
"Outsiders, keep quiet!" Ace told Yuu
"You got all that?" Ace asked Riddle
He nodded. "Yeah, I got it..."
"Indeed, indeed. What a beautiful turn-out this had been. Let's say things are settled for now, shall we?" Crowley nodded
With the help of Trey, Riddle stood up.
"Alright! Let's start with cleaning up the garden!" Cater smiled then pouted. "The garden I worked so hard in is in shambles...Boohoo..."
"I'll help you out." Trey patted his back
Cater declined. "You go and take Riddle to the infirmary, Trey. He just went into overblot, so I think you should have the doctor check on him."
"It's as Dimond says. I'll accompany you." Crowley said
"Yes, sir... Thank you very much." Trey thanked him
"Bye!" Azubah waved them off
{Third Person}
The three left, leaving Cater, Yuu, Ace, Deuce, Grim, and Azubah to clean up the garden.
"I'm so hungry after using so much magic. Huh? This is the jewel we saw in the Dwarf Mines!" Grim picked up the black stone
"You're right... where did it come from?" Deuce asked
"You better not eat it." Ace warned Grim
"Grim, don't do it." Yuu demanded
"It's a taste I can never forget, so I'll dig in!" Grim put the black stone in his mouth
"He a-ate it?!" Azubah stared at Grim in confusion
Cater watched the monster chew the stone. "How is he able to stomach that!?"
"Hmmmmm! It's a rather sweet taste, but it's also got a good kind of bitterness mixed in. It's a totally different taste from the one I had before!" Grim exclaimed
"Ah, he's a monster so his stomach's built different. He was fine before, so it's probably alright." Ace already used to Grim's weirdness
"It's got a really refreshing and soft kind of taste!" Grim exclaimed
"Still, he shouldn't eat random stuff off the ground!" Deuce reminded
"Oh, boy. Thank you, guys." Cater said to himself
"Hm? Did you say something?" Ace asked
"Nope, nothing!" Cater waved his hands
