"Heyy bestieee" Jayda said as I answered the phone
"Heyy" I smiled
"Watchu doing girl ?" She asked
"Nothing just re-watching Vampire diaries" I said
"Girl you re-watched that like 5 times. Ain't you suppose to be at work ?"
"Yea I called in sick" I chuckled
She laughed "Why ? you look perfectly fine to me"
"I woke up with hella cramps had my ass crying" I chuckled
"Ouu girl I know the feeling" she sighed
"Yup and I missed church yesterday because I over slept" I shook my head
"You don't never miss church" she looked at me with a shock expression on her face
"Yeah I know"
"Okay well I've got work in like 20 so I'll talk to you later" she said
"Alright later" I said before hanging up
Looking at the time I realized I had class in 30 mins.
I sighed loudly before pausing my show and getting up to go to the bathroom.
As I stood in front of the mirror my thoughts took over.
Ughh your so fat
No matter if you stop eating the weight still stays
Everything about you is just fat
Tears began to roll down my eyes as it continued to replay in my head.
"Please stop" I said to my self
"Please" I said covering my face with my hands
I wiped my eyes and started the shower.
"Your strong, your beautiful" I said before taking a deep breathe and releasing it
I took my clothes off and got into the shower.
I grabbed my wash clothes and lathered it with soap then started to wash my body.

"Great I'm gonna be late" I said rushing to my car
I quickly started it before putting my seatbelt on and pulling off.
Being in school for nursing was great, but I was ready to get things started.
I was currently waiting for these people to get back to me about my internship.
Pulling up the university I parked my car and grabbed my purse before getting out my car and locking it.
"Ms. Taylor your late" my professor said as I tried to walk into class quietly
I rolled my eyes "yes I apologize"
"Don't apologize. Just answer this...While assessing a one-month-old infant, which of the findings warrants further investigation by the nurse?"
I sighed before rubbing my forehead "uhhh...Inspiratory grunt, nasal flaring, cyanosis, and Asymmetric chest movement"
He nodded " Don't be late again" he said before going back to teaching
I sat down and pulled out my lap top and note boom before listening .
"So how long did it take you to memorize that answer" I heard someone whisper beside me
I continued writing down notes "not long" I shrugged
"Ahh so she's a show off"
I looked at him with a scrunched face "nope just photographic memory"
"Cool... you wanna use that memory to help me out ?" He asked with a smirk
"No thank you" I smiled before looking away
"You single ma ?" He asked
I rolled my eyes "very single and very not interested"
"I love a good chase" he bit his lip
"Don't run too fast" I mumbled
I really wasn't trying to get with no one at this school.
I want to be able to come to school, do what I gotta do...then leave and that wouldn't really be possible with a boy breathing down my neck 24/7.
Once class was done I grabbed my things and headed to my car.
I started my things and quickly drove home.
Once I got home I sat my stuff down changed into my gym clothes.
Hearing my phone ring I answered it " Hey Ki"
"Hey girl what you doing ?" She asked
"About to go to the gym. Why ? wassup" I asked
"Nothing just needed someone to hang with" she sighed
"Oh I'm sorry maybe we can hang tomorrow after work"
"Okay cool and you can invite Jayda" she said
"Okay I'll let her know"
"Oh my brother been asking for you" she laughed
I raised my eyebrow "Your brother ?"
"Yes. Eli"
I smiled "ohh why is he asking for me ?"
"Girl I don't know, but that's just my brother he find a new girl he's interested in like every 2 weeks don't even worry about him" she said
"Oh okay....well I gotta go I'll talk to your later" I said
"Okay let me know what time you wanna meet up tomorrow"
"Okay bye" I hung up
I grabbed my water bottle and filled with ice and water.
I then grabbed my keys, headphones, and left the house.

I pulled up to the gym and grabbed my stuff before getting out the car.
I used my phone to scan my membership card and walked in.
Deciding that I was gonna work on legs today. I walked over to the mirrors and started stretching.
"Lani ?" I heard causing me to turn around
"Uhh Eli right ?" I asked
"Yea, how you doing ?"
"I'm good you ?" I asked
"I'm great....I've been trying to get in touch with you" he smiled
"Yea your sister told me" I chuckled
"I was wondering if you wanted to maybe catch a movie or something" he suggested
"Uhhh I don't think so...I'm not really trying to get into something right now" I said
"It don't have to be nothing serious just as friends....please"
I sighed "okay"
"Great tomorrow? Around 8 ?" He asked
"Sure."
"I can come pick you up"
"No. I'll drive"
"Okay see you around"
"Bye" I waved at him and turned my music up loud before getting back to what I was doing
