It's a good history novel. I think there's 2 parts, the first part of the story related to their childhood where it told about FL's family while the later revolve about imperial throne. I like the character development and the surprise twisted plot. After finish reading it, I check the novel tags in novelupdates.com and there's rape tag, it is a bit funny since that refer to FL dad.
ML transmigrated as an unfavored prince due to his mother humble background. He married FL but never touch her. He secretly love her but never dare to sully her. Both of them died because the new emperor killed all the other siblings. ML rebirth as 7-8 yo. He tried to become better and get close to FL.
FL father is ambitious, he married FL mother who is a duke's daughter to get their help. In previous life, he got military merit then join the 2nd prince faction and destroy the duke's family. In this life, FL met ML early. Due to ML's suggestion, FL become tougher and fierce to protect her brother. FL mother is naive and fool, she believe her husband and his family without realizing they only use her family background and bully her. FL met ML in the duke's residence when ML is kicked out of the palace and waiting his prince manor getting build. FL run to the duke's residence for help.
