The next day at school was pretty uneventful, that was until lunch. Danny, Ben, and I were minding our own business as always when a very familiar brunet came over to our table.
"Hey, guys." We all looked up from our food to look at Madison, better know as Maddi. To us, she's Madison, Sam's right hand man.
"Hey Maddi." Danny smiled at her.
"Hey, Madison." Ben and I said the exact same line in unison. We didn't like calling her Maddi, because we weren't exactly friends with her.
"So, Danny.. There's this new movie I've been dying to see. And I was wondering if you wanted to go see it with me tonight." Madison seductively bit her lip.
"As a date?" Danny blinked. Ben and I didn't speak, we were shocked into silence. Danny was also stunned. Sam would never let Madison associate with anyone who had a direct link to me.
"Of course!" Madison smiled at Danny. You tell from the look in her eye she was really hoping he'd say yes.
"Uh... I don't know." I kicked Danny under the table, bringing his attention to me. Madison didnt notice, so I took the time to mouth 'say yes stupid' to Danny.
"Why not?" Madison stuck out her bottom lip. She was totally pouting and trying to look cute.
"Well..." I kicked him again."Sure, Maddi." He smiled his oh so attractive smile at her. A ting of jealousy was sent through me. I kinda of wish he was smiling like that at me, and I had the date with him. Wait! What!
Earth to Aria, this is Danny your best friend you're thinking about!
"Great! Pick me up at six? I'll text you the info." With that, she smiled and left.
"Woah, man. When did she get your number?" Ben looked at Danny like it was his first time meeting his best friend.
"We worked on a project together last year. I guess I gave it to her then.. I don't remember." Danny scratched his head, obviously trying to remember.
"Well it doesn't matter! Oh my god, Danny! You have date tonight! You have to let me come over and help you get ready." I was squealing like a girl. The jealousy had faded and was replaced with excitement for my best friend.
"God, Aria. You're such a girl." Ben rolled his eyes at me. I shot him a glare back.
"Kitten, I don't need your help to look good. I look good all the time." Danny shot me a smirk.
"Uh... Your look begs to differ." I fake checked him out, biting back the smile that wanted to break through onto my face. I saw Ben silently laughing across the table.
"Sweetie, take a picture it lasts longer." I heard a female voice snap at me. I jerked my head and saw none other than Sam giving me a death glare.
"I'm sorry Sam, but we don't all need pictures for a shrine like you." Danny shot Sam one of his 'mess with Aria and die' looks. It was sad how he had to create one in the first place. He's been perfecting his since freshman year.
"I didn't come here to talk with you two, I came to talk to Ben." She sent me and Danny a glare then looked over at Ben.
"Surprise surprise." Danny mumbled.
"Benie, I was wondering if you want to come to the movies tonight with me." She bit her lip, trying to look innocent and sexy all in one. She failed really badly.
"Sorry Sam, but I have plans." Ben tried to sound as nice and polite as possible. Which was really hard since he was rejecting a girl.
"Oh. Well, thanks anyway." Sam face showed hurt. If I didn't know any better, I would have felt sorry for her. And since I was a good person, I still felt sorry for her. She looked like her heart was being shattered along with her pride.
"Sorry again." Ben frowned at her, as she turned and walked away.
"Jeez, you guys must really be a hit with the women. You both had an option for a date tonight and I got nothing." I smiled at them.
"Don't worry, Kitty. Even if a guy were to ask you out right now he wouldn't be good enough for you. You deserve better than the douche bags at this school." Danny beamed at me.
"Yeah, Ari. Don't let it get you down. You'll always have us." Ben winked at me.
"You guys are awesome. I don't know what I'd so without you." I stood up and walked to their side of the table, bringing them into a group hug.
"Stop hugging me!" They both yelled in unison, but I could tell they did t mind the huggin because they were hugging me right back.
"I love you guys." I squeezed them harder.
"We love you too, Kitten." I could feel both of them start to smile.
"Ugh. Danny please, that pet name makes me want to barf." I stopped hugging them and sent Danny a scowl, which only made both of them laugh. I could t help but drop my scowl and smile.
"I think that's my favorite one." Ben smiled and high fived Danny.
"Yeah, I like it too. I won't stick to that though, because there are so many other options that would annoy you more, babe." Danny had a big smile that showed all his teeth, but I still sent him a scowl and grumbled.
"Aria, wanna hang out tonight? We could order pizza and watch movies at your place until Danny gets done with his date. Then he can join us."
"Yeah, Aria. We could even match some more Resident Evil. I like the way you're all over me when we watch it." Danny winked at me, and I just scowled.
"Sure, Ben. And no way in hell Danny." I couldn't help but smile, when I saw the smile spread across each of their faces.
These boys were the only thing keeping me alive. Without them, when Sam left I would have gone into depression. They are literally the only thing that makes me happy. I can see myself with them for the rest of my life.
