I was sitting on the beach ie my favourite place, the weather was hot here. The cold breeze was something else !
I walked around , played in water and was relaxing myself totally! While sitting there my eyes fell on a box that was floating on water and it reached the shore.
It seemed beautiful as the sun rays fell on it , it's red colour sparkled !
Moving near the shore towards it,
I picked it up.
Y/n: it's beautiful!
I tried to open the box , but it was hard maybe coz the water got inside it!
I was hella curious to know what was inside , but I finally managed to open it . Water spilled out of the box as i opened it ,soon my eyes reached inside as I saw two small beautiful keys hung in a string.
Y/n: wow that's so pretty!
It looked old coz of the rusting and all .
Thats when i remembered something! There was a key hole behind that red pendant! I looked at the back of the box and found the same colours of the pendant on there. Red and black! Even the designing was somehow similar!
Y/n: there is some connection!
I dropped the box on the sand as I took out the keys and rushed towards my house to check!
Soon I reached home and rushed in my bedroom.
I searched for the pendant and finally found it.
I cleaned the keys and they looked in kinda good condition now.
Picking em up , i was about to insert the keys in the keyhole behind the pendant , but what I saw amazed me ...
The keys and the red portion of the pendant started to shine !
Y/n: w-woah!
Without wasting any time further I inserted the keys , first one , it opened up half part of it and when I inserted the second key, the red portion of the pendant rolled and opened !
But as soon as it opened , i dropped it as I saw black smoke like thing coming out and it took the shape of a cloud! I was terrified with that as I fell on my bed while looking at what happened! But soon the cloud went out of my room! Leaving behind the open necklace but it's red portion was gone! That red buldged out side had become dark and dull now! And the keys were still there in my hands.
I was breathing heavily right now!
Unaware of the fact that I just opened the gates of hell . I went towards washroom to change my mood, after sometime I went down to eat.
While eating my eyes fell on the bag that was kept on the couch! I remembered Martha carrying it when she came , raising one eyebrow of mine i looked at it.
Y/n: did she forget it here?
I went towards it and opened it up just to see what was in there. That's when I saw my dress that we bought together yesterday!
Y/n: oh shit it's her birthday tomorrow!!!
Then suddenly I heard my door bell ring.
It was almost dark and raining outside , coming of a visitor didn't make any sense to me, and mostly no one actually comes to house, I slowly took my steps towards the door when I saw a shadow outside in the dark. It was enough to scare me, I slowly turned the door knob and..
Y/n: MARK!!!???
He was panting heavily , while holding on to the door .
Y/n: Mark u okay!!?(I asked concerned)
Mark: y-y/n someone's trying to kill me !!
Y/n: what!!!
Without thinking twice I helped him to come inside ...and shut the door.
I made him sit on the couch and brought water for him, he drank while I looked at his condition, he was covered with wounds and his knees and elbows were bleeding !!
He kept the glass on the table and sat straight.
Mark: i-i , y/n pls help me !!
He grabs my hands while begging!
Mark: I haven't done anything wrong!!! Pls help me by staying at your house for a few days!! Pls!! They'll kill both of us otherwise!
Y/n: kill us? Who!? Why??
Mark: first tell me will u help me or not!
Y/n : o-okay Mark, but what happened!?
Mark: You won't believe me , but the thing is I can't even tell u that! And all that has happened in the past with me is coz of you!
Y/n: what are you saying Mark!!!!!? ( A lil serious tone)
Mark: I'm not blaming you! But you're in danger !
Y/n: tell me clearly!
Mark was shaking terribly! It was getting too hard for him to even utter a word ! I felt so bad for him! I don't have any idea what was going on but rn he needs to be alright.
Mark: all I would say is , I'm sorry y/n! I was under control of him!
Y/n: what him!?
Mark held his head tight and groaned in pain!? It was so hard to manage the situation! I wasn't even knowing what was happening to him!
I thought of calling Stacy! I thought it would be great if she comes!
I called her and asked her to come over .
I kept my phone down and suddenly my eyes fell on my wrist !! It was the pearl necklace!!!! Wrapped around my wrist as a bracelet!!??
I tried removing it but it was stuck!! Idk wth was going on !! And how it came on my wrist out of no where! I observed that it was shining red. What does that mean now?
I tried to focus on Mark who was feeling a bit better .
I went to him, but all of a sudden, i felt a strange feeling going down my back, as goosebumps i felt. A sudden urge of staying away from Mark arose in me, i looked at my pearl bracelet , it was shining red under my sweater's sleeves.
I asked him to sit there while I bring clothes for him!
I rushed in my room as i slid down the door after closing it. I was panicking so much! Idk but I had a strong gut feeling regarding something I wasn't knowing , I tried to calm myself by breathing in then out I closed my eyes to relax myself , I tried concentrating on the petrichor and the sound of rain outside. The thunder and all, but seems like relaxation is not in my dictionary in this series :)
Suddenly I heard a glass broke in my living area and heard gun shots!!!
I was scared as hell but Mark was there in the living area!! I need to save him!
I reached down towards Mark and found he was lying on the ground while whining, by keeping his hands on his leg that - that was b-bleeding!!!!!!
Y/n: MARKKKK!!!!!
I ran towards him but someone caught my hands and I weren't able to go any further .
I looked on eachside and found two men who looked more like bodyguards holding me !! I looked around and saw more ppl with guns in there hands inside my house while three windows were broken and the entry gate was open!!! I tried to remove myself from their grip while I was crying coz my bestie was in pain.
Soon I heard footsteps coming , I was hella scared by this I didn't wanted to look up, while I cried looking at Mark in front of me in pain!
??: Well , I had to do this! The one who will help my enemies needs to face the consequences! Finally caught you!
His voice was somehow familiar to me but was very scary at the same time ! Maybe coz of the weapons and all I was seeing around me .
Mark: p-pls l-leave her ! She isn't involved in all this!
Y/n: m-mark (I whispered)
??: Ik she's not! But you are! And you have to face the consequences!
Y/n: No!! He hasn't done anything! Leave him!!!
??: U don't have to speak in b/w and tell me what i have to do and what to not!
Y/n: b-but-
Man1: yaah! How dare you get the courage to speak to our boss like that! Don't u know about Kim Taehyung? The greatest Mafia boss of this time!
Y/n(thinks): T-taehyung? M-mafia!?
The terror could be felt rn, i was so damn scared rn! Never thought I would ever face a Mafia ever in my life!
Taehyung: Take her right now!!
With that command the two men started taking me somewhere! I tried alot to run away from them but suddenly their boss (Taehyung) shoots Mark on his back and he leta out a loud cry !!
Y/n: NO!!!! MARK!
At this moment while these people were taking me , the memories of those good times rushed through my brain! The one who supported me all the time layed unconscious on the ground ! And I weren't able to do even a single thing to protect him! He came to me for help and also to save me but this is how we ended up!!
I was a crying mess when they opened the car gates and led me inside ...I covered my face with my palms and cried, I just want Mark rn!
With that some more ppl came inside and sat while Taehyung sat in front of me, with that they shut the gates.
I was so scared to even speak up to em , to tell em that i want my Mark rn, and don't want to go with em!
Taehyung: we're done drive now!
He commanded his driver and with that we drove off...
In the car:
I was still crying while thinking about everything!
When someone gets a message on their phone..
Taehyung who was wiping the blood off his gone asks.
Taehyung: who's it!?
??: Ah~ it's Nancy!
Taehyung: oh !
??: Tae your dad is here!
Tae: Come on hyung you must be kidding me now!

Minho: she didn't say that but if it's Tae's dad then ofc he might be here coz of that!

when suddenly his eyes landed on you who was constantly crying!
He smirks at you while u were not even knowing what they all were talking about!
Taehyung: maybe ik what I have to do!*smirk*
Yeonjun: are you serious!!!?
Taehyung: I can do anything to secure my position! I know what he wants let me give him a surprise then..
Yeonjun: That's my hyung , I'm so proud of you! But u sure about it?

Tae: hey you! Look up!
You wiped my tears with your shaking hands and slowly looked at him! When he noticed your bracelet!
His eyes widened as he saw the bracelet !!
Taehyung: FROM WHERE DID U GET THAT!!!
He shouted , and you could see him turning all angry!! and what you hadn't expect was, his eyes were yellow!! You remembered him!! But rn he looked super scary!!
Y/n's pov
His eyes were full of anger!!!
When suddenly he tried to grab me but the other two guys in the car holds him , I was in the corner fully scared!!!
That's when the guy who sat beside me ( yeonjun) said something in his ear and he calmed down!! My heartbeat was really fast by this that happened rn !!
Taehyung took a deep breath and spoke.
Tae : you have no idea what you've done! And now all that is happening with you! Makes sense! Aish!
Tae: well u have to pay for this anyways! You've brought hell on earth again, so u need to get punished for that.
I looked up at him scared.
Tae: from today onwards you're going to do everything that I want ! You'll obey my every single word! Mark it! Coz if u don't, you don't know how bad i can do to you!
I wasn't in the state to argue ! But I nodded and looked outside the window.
Soon we reached somewhere! It was a huge yet beautiful mansion!
The gates opened and I tried getting out first , sort of like I would run away but ig I was wrong!
Taehyung grabbed my wrist and made me sit back in the car again!
The others went out..
Taehyung: now that you're here don't u dare try to escape!
I nodded and looked down , he got out of the car and I followed him.
I slowly turned my head up and my jaw dropped as I saw the beautiful mansion in front of me !!
Taehyung grabbed my hand as one of his men pulled out an umbrella over us.
We stood outside when I heard someone ...
??: So finally my son is here!!
Taehyung: I thought u went away!
Tae's dad: yeah yeah was just leaving only! Just came to remind u of thinking about your-
Taehyung: marriage! Yes ik very well , that's y-
He looked behind at me , left my hand and grabbed my waist as he pulled me close .
Tae: here! Meet your going to be daughter in law! i.e my fiance *smirks*
I was shook by what I just heard!!! I looked up at him with a "what" face! While he just smirked!?
