Your POV
We spent a couple of hours at the beach, recording our stupidity. We had fun though, but it was getting late. I had been out of the lake for a good 15-20 minutes by this point. "When are we leaving?" I asked Narrator, who was drying off.
"Uhhh, soon. Everyones already out of the lake, so we could just go walk around down town and find somewhere to eat supper." He explained, putting his towel back into the bag he used to bring it.
"Ooh, we could stop and get some pizzaaa!" Gaege exclaimed, sliding his shirt back on.
Eddie laughed. "Nah, dawg, we gotta get some chinese food."
"What do you think, (Y/N)? Pizza, obviously, right?" Gaege questioned, walking over to where I was sitting and lending me his hand.
I grabbed his hand and stood up, already dressed. "Honestly, I'll eat anything." I shrugged.
Gaege groaned, "Noo, you were supposed to agree with meeee."
I shook my head. "Nope. Not after you pushed me in the water." I picked up the cooler and turned away, beginning to walk away from him.
Josh laughed. "Actually, he threw you in. Big difference. Now let's get going."
We all made our way to the vehicle, Narrator and Mully getting into the front seats, Eddie, Josh and Gaege climbing in the back, with me laying on top of them, feet on Josh and head on Gaege.
"Soo, where are we stopping?" Narrator asked as he pulled away from the beach, driving on the main road.
"I'm still sayin' pizza, boys," Gaege stated. I looked up at him and rolled my eyes as he looked back down at me, "Oh, come onnn, pizza is great."
"Nah, nah, chinese food is wayyy better." Eddie exclaimed, looking over at Gaege.
They argued about what we were going to eat for a good 15-20 minutes, when they were interrupted by Narrator. "Sorry, Eddie, but pizza's the closest place, so we're stopping here." The vehicle came to a stop, and a loud, upset groan came out of Eddie.
"Haha, losers. Big goosey wins." Gaege smirked.
I sighed, "Come on, let's just get outtt, it's crowded in here," They quickly complied and began getting out, allowing me to also get out. As my feet hit the ground, I felt myself lose balance for a moment as I was just laying down. I stretched my arms in the air, cracking my back in the process.
"Let's go inside and order." Narrator locked the vehicle and began walking towards the pizza place as we all followed him.
I walked beside Gaege as we made our way to the building. We had parked a bit further than we wanted to, as there were no available spaces next to the restaurant. "My hair's still all wet." I sighed, brushing out my dripping hair with my fingers as we walked.
Gaege giggled without saying anything.
"What's so funny?" I asked, turning to face him.
"I was gonna make a joke," he confessed, "But it's not niceeee."
I raised a brow as I glanced up at him. "Go on. Say it." There was no way it could be that bad... I had been friends with him for so long, at this point, nothing he could say would surprise me, right..?
He let out another laugh, "I don't think I'm going to. Now let's get some pizzaaaa."
I sighed as he held the door of the pizza place open once the other boys walked in. "Thank you, kind sir."
"You are very welcome, your majesty." He bowed as he walked in, letting go of the door. We both started laughing before turning towards the rest of the boys, just to see all of them looking at us.
"Y'all are corny." Eddie stated before walking up to the counter to order our food.
"How- what? How the hell are we corny..??" i questioned, looking back at Gaege.
"He's just jealous that he doesn't get called good sir." He playfully rolled his eyes, a huge grin plastered on his face. I couldn't help but smile when he smiled. No matter what the situation, seeing Gaege smile just... made things better. I still didn't know what this feeling was. It wasn't love... I don't love Gaege... No. That's impossible.
"(Y/N)? You're staring off into space." Josh snapped me out of my thoughts, bringing me back to reality.
"Shit, sorry. I was just... thinking..." I nervously smiled at him.
"Aboouttt whaattt?" Gaege said, leaning over me and speaking right into my ear, scaring me.
"AH- oh fuck, Gaege--" I looked around the restaurant and silently apologized for screaming, "Don't scare me like that.."
"Alright boys, I got pizza. Let's go." Eddie ordered, walking towards us with a huge, steaming hot box of pizza.
I pumped my fist in the air in excitement. "Oh hell yeah! I'm so hungry right now. Let's hurry home so we can eat."
We began walking out of the restaurant when Mully came up with a great idea. "Hey boys, how about... I take the camera, and film us in the car. We can just eat the pizza on the way home!"
Narrator opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off - not by Mully - by Josh. "No. Never again. I almost threw up last time we did a food review in the car."
"I think it'll be fun," I shrugged, walking in the direction of our car, "We haven't done a car vlog yet, so why-" that's when a tall man, who was leaning against the wall of a store, cigarette in his mouth, caught my eye. He seemed uncomfortably familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on why... Thats when he looked up and looked me right in the eyes.
"(Y/N)? Why'd you stop walking? Eddie asked, coming up beside me with the box of pizza in his hands.
I quickly looked away from the man, a pit of fear growing in my stomach. "Uh, sorry. I thought I saw something."
We continued walking, getting closer and closer to the area where the man had been standing. That's when I felt someones arm drape around my shoulders. I looked up to see Gaege, with a worried expression painting his face. "Don't look now, but there's some guy staring at you.." He whispered, his eyes darting in the direction of the man who I had recognized.
"Hey, is that you- (Y/N), was it? I thought you looked familiar..." The tall man, whose voice seemed uncanilly familiar, as if I had just heard it yesterday, stomped out his cigarette and began walking towards me.
The rest of the boys stopped and looked at him. Gaege kept an arm around me, pulling me even closer to him, staring at the man as if he was throwing invisible daggers in his direction with his sight. "You know him, (Y/N)?" He asked, an unfamiliar tone of sincerity in his voice.
"Uhm," I looked up at the man, examining his face, when I remembered who he was, "Yeah. Aiden, right..? We uh, met at the club when I went with Gabs." I hesitantly explained, feeling my hands shaking in my pockets.
"Oh, so this is Aiden?" Josh asked, walking towards the man.
"Yeah, I'm Aiden. You five are all lookin' at me like I'm lunch. What? Did I do something wrong?" Aiden laughed, throwing his arm around my shoulder, and practically butting Gaege away from me.
I could feel his eyes staring down at my chest. My top was white, and since my bathing suit was still wet, you could see right through. And.. I knew that I had an average — if not above average — chest size. I was used to the staring.
I quickly turned my head towards Gaege, a look of fear in my eyes. I did not want to be in this situation. I hadn't noticed it at the bar, as I was... well... drunk, but Aiden gave off a not-so-great vibe. Almost dangerous, even. "No, Josh, this is... a different Aiden." I nervously laughed.
"What's wrong, princess? You were a whole lot more comfortable around me at the club, hm? Isn't that right? What, am I making you nervous?" He smirked, leaning down so that his face was mere inches away from mine.
I held my breath, trying my hardest to avoid eye contact and to look over to Gaege again for help, but he was holding my head to face him. "Y-yeah. Sure.." I stuttered.
He let go of my face and removed his arm from around me. "Maybe next time I see you, you'll be alone, and won't leave before we get to my apartment. Maybe your little boyfriend won't get in the way of me railin' you into tomorrow.
" He winked at me and sent a death glare in Gaege's direction before turning around and leaving, walking the opposite way.
"What the fuck was that." Narrator sternly questioned, his face stoic and his fists held tightly together by his sides.
"Nothing." I answered back, feeling a weight lifted off my shoulders now that he was gone.
"(Y/N) you alright? That guy gave off some pretty bad vibes.." Josh mentioned, looking over at me.
I nodded. "Yes, I'm fine. Can we just keep going? I'm starving." I flashed an obviously fake smile, hoping they would just drop the topic and continue walking.
"If you say so.." My brother sighed and began walking again, along with everyone else, myself included.
We got back to the vehicle and all climbed in. I had managed to squeeze between Eddie and Gaege, but half of me was practically sitting on Gaege.
"Sorry, Gaege - I can try to move a bit more if you're uncomfortab-" Before I could finish my sentence, he shushed me.
"Shh. No. Stay right there." He ordered.
Mully, who was still sitting in the front with Narrator, pulled out two tiny cameras. He set up one in the front for him and Narrator, and one on the console, for all four of us in the back. "Both are recording now." He stated.
Narrator explained what was happening to the camera in the front, his eyes fixated in the road as he was driving, and Eddie, who was beside me, had the pizza box.
"Gooddd, it smells so good." I groaned, throwing my head back. I was hungry to the point where my stomach hurt. Maybe it was because I was heavily hungover, or the fact that I hadn't really eaten at all yet. Maybe it was both.
"Have a slice, then, dawg," Eddie ripped a slice of pizza out and handed it to me, "Anyone else want any?"
We all grabbed a slice and began eating. "Is there peppers on this pizza?" Josh asked, squinting his eyes and examining his slice.
Gaege nodded. "Yeah. Don't like peppers or something?"
He shook his head, a look of disgust plastered across his features. "God, I fuckinng hate peppers."
I laughed. "Josh, they aren't even that bad," my brother had always been extremely picky when it came to food and stuff. Even the slightest bad taste could make him vomit, "Just pick off the peppers and give them to me. I'll eat them."
POV SWAP!!
Third Person POV
Josh sighed and gave in, beginning to pick off the small peppers off of his pizza and handing them over to his sister, who ate all of them gladly.
In the front seat, Narrator and Mully were talking about some random stuff, and about how fun the beach trip was, while in the back, Eddie and Josh were arguing about foods.
"Spicy foods aren't even that bad!! You just have the tolerance of a pussy, dawg!!" Eddie argued.
(Y/N) sighed and took another bite of her pizza before turning her head towards Gaege. "Soo, what was that joke you were gonna make a while ago," she asked, still wondering what he could've said that would have been soo terrible, "When I had said that my hair was still wet?"
Gaege thought for a moment. Of course, what he was going to say was just a joke, but after all that had happened between the both of them in the last 24 hours, he didn't know if he should make that joke. Although, he did want to make her embarrassed on camera. He leaned closer to her, his mouth almost pressed against her ear, and he whispered, "I was gonna say... That's not the only thing that's gonna be wet."
(Y/N) coughed, and choked on her bite. Her face flushed red with pure embarrassment. Out of all the things she thought he was going to say, that wasn't even on the list. Her eyes were wide, and her hand was slapped right over her mouth. "Gaege..!! You- I... I don't even know what to say to that. You can't say that!!"
He laughed. "It was a jokee, I swear!! Plus, I just thought it would be funny to make you all flustered on camera," He teased. He was always like this, even before.. everything. He teased her all the time, the same way the other Boys did. But now.. now that he had an idea how she really felt, he could be a bit more extreme with the teasing.
She scoffed at his comment. "Oh yeah? Well.. I can do that too, y'know." She spoke without a plan. She didn't really have a way to make him flustered, but she just felt like one-upping him.
"Really," He giggled, "You've never even come close. I'd love to see you try."
She swallowed whatever air was still in her mouth, making a 'gulp' sound. She had to think of something, and fast. She reached over, pulling his face closer to hers so his ear was right by her mouth, "Maybe I don't want it to be a joke.."
She kept his face held there for a couple of seconds, hoping that the closeness, along with what she said, would help her succeed. And it did. She watched as his cheeks changed colours ever so slightly. Tainted with a light pink. She let go and smirked at him.
"I- ..." He was speecheless, "That's just cruel."
"Whaatt, it was just a jokeee," She looked at him with pleading eyes, trying to play all innocent, "How am I cruel?"
He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could actually say anything, Eddie grabbed a slice of pizza and shoved it into Gaege's mouth.
She flashed him a sly smirk before turning back around to face the camera, continuing to pick at the pile of peppers Josh had given her.
"What were you two whisperin' about?" Mully asked, turning his head to face the two as best as he could.
"Oh, just telling Gaege- err... Juicy," She corrected herself. (Y/N) knew that whenever they were filming, she had to call him Juicy. Narrator had said that openly calling him by his actual name while nobody else did might stir up something unwanted, "that I'm glad we went with pizza." She lied.
"Uh-huh..." Mully eyed her suspisciously, "Whatever you say! Now, back to what I was saying-"
Gaege finished the slice of pizza that had been shoveled into his mouth. "You really suck, by the way."
She shrugged. "Oh, you love it."
