"C'mon let's go get Ice-cream"

It's 8pm and the only reason I'm going to get ice cream with them is because I miss him so much I think I'll go to his house if they leave me alone.
"Put a jacket on it's cold" Julie says
Always the mom of the group.
"Okay im ready let's go" I say wearing sweats and a hoodie
Speaking of hoodies I need to give him his back
"Can we stop by tag house real quick i need to give Halston his hoodie back" I say going up to grab it
"Are you sure, I Can give it to him if you want" Scar says looking concerned
"No it's fine I got this"
I think, I hope.
"Okay whatever you say" she says and we all get in the car after locking the door
15 minutes later
They wait on the curb while I knock on the door and Auggie opens it
"Hey Annie what are you doing here" he says giving me a hug
"Um im actually here to give Halston his hoodie back" I say and he lets me in letting me know he's in his room
I climb up the stairs and almost do a whole lap before going into his room but I stop and compose myself
Im just giving him back his hoodie.
I open his door and there he is laying on his bed with his back towards the door so I knock on his door letting him know I'm in here
"Annie what are you doing here" he says In a sleepy voice
He's so cute. Stay. Focused.
"Um I just came to give you your hoodie" I say walking to him and giving it to him our hands touching in the process
God have mercy.
"Oh" he says with something in his eyes, maybe disappointment?
"Yea well I gotta go the girls are waiting" I say turning around and walking to the door and opening it when I feel a body right behind me and a hand closes the door
Fuck. Me.
"Wait" he says breathlessly "please" desperately.
When he says please I swear I almost fall on my knees.
No, he broke your heart Annie.
"As I said the girls are waiting in the car" I whisper and leave as quick as I can before I fold
Because one more minute in there with him and I would actually be on my knees for him.
I give a quick wave to the boys and speed walk to the car.
"Hey how'd it go you took a while" Julie says
"No it was fine" I say
When Julie starts the car again, I look over to where I know is his window and there he is running a hand through his hair and throwing something across his room.
14 minutes later
"So what's up with you and Ares" I ask her taking licks of my ice-cream
"Yeah you can smell the tension a mile away" Julie says
"He kissed me" Scar says out of nowhere
"Oh em geee! What" I say standing up straight
"Did you kiss him back??" Julie asks
She doesn't answer, instead she puts a spoon full of ice cream in her mouth and that makes me open my eyes wide
"SCARLETT FREAKING CAMPBELL" I yell
Nobody's in here anyways but I instantly feel bad because of the workers so I give them an apologetic smile and they just laugh
"When the hell were you gonna tell us" Julie says smiling
"I just don't wanna make it a big dead, he's the campus fuck thing and I don't want my heart on the line, it was a one time thing" she says shrugging
"Ares is nice though and I've seen the way he looks at you Scar, just don't underestimate him" I say
"Enough boy talk for the night I'm tired let's go" She says
After we pay we leave and once we get home I pass out on my bed thinking about the one person I shouldn't be thinking of.
