So I was watching Dotty be wheeled down the hall with doctors yelling orders. I decided to go find my friends instead of watching all of this intense commotion. I wasn’t too worried because I know she is in good hands.
While walking down the hall, I called Craig. "Hey baby" he answered.
“Hey uhh, where are you?" I asked a little hesitant. Really only because he could be anywhere.
“Oh I'm in the waiting room, waiting for you. Where are you? Ill meet you up." he said with suspicion in his voice.
"Oh, I’m like right here" I said quickly and hung up the phone. I looked at Craig, who jumped up and hugged me.
“you will never believe what-... wait where’s Ally and Zacky?" I stopped in mid sentence to figure out where my best friend was.
"Oh, they’re still here somewhere. But they are off in a back room somewhere hookin' up, I imagine." he said, with his eyes never leaving mine.
“ugh, ill text her." I said a little annoyed, looking down at my phone as I was taking t out of my pocket.

We were all sitting in the car. Already t was four o’clock and I, for once, was starving. I hadn’t eaten since breakfast and the others had. I get a little grumpy when I am hungry.
"GIMMIE FOOD!!!" I shouted, while sitting in the front seat of the car. We pulled into Five Guys: Burgers and Fries, to eat. I got a bacon and cheese burger with a drink. Craig got two bacon and cheese burgers with French fries and an ice cream Sunday with a chocolate shake. God is he a fat man in a muscular body. He had all that and was still finished before me.
"Craig your fat" I teased
"Alex, your mean" he teased back. I glanced over to him staring at my burger. I handed it to him. "Here you go, thanks for asking" I said, looking at him like 'man who he hell do you think you are.’ he smiled back and said " thanks babe" then winked at me before shoving practically the whole thing in his mouth. Well I can’t blame him; he is a growing 19 year old. You know, they need a lot of food to keep their metabolism up.
We left and went home. The first thing I did was brush my teeth incase any left overs were stuck in my bottom braces. Yeah I know, disgusting. 6 MORE DAYS!!!! I am counting down. And actually tomorrow it'll be 5 days! Yeah boy! People like Craig didn’t ever have to worry about getting stuff stuck in his braces, because one he didn’t have them and two his teeth are so crooked that it is impossible to get stuff stuck in them. Lucky bastard.
We all chilled in my house again, in my basement as usual. I walked back into the room and closed the door and locked it. My family likes to barge into places a lot. It was Sunday and about 6. I had to write a 10 page history report due the next day. Joy. It was the last week of school, so reports and exams were what we constantly did. I was only a junior, sadly. Craig had stayed back, but finally graduated this year. I remember how excited he was. It was hilarious. They told him he could graduate and the first thing he did was go smoke some pot. He still does, but not usually when I’m around. I told him he acts fucking stupid and retarded when he is stoned. Of course all he did was laugh because he was completely blazed at the time.
We "watched" a movie, and they left. Craig stayed to "help" me with my report, but really only made me have less time to work on it. It was around 11:30 at night when he left. Shit. 8 more pages to go. That’s with it double spaced. Not to mention I have to get up at 5. And it’ll take me about two more hours to write and edit the rest of the paper.

I woke up the next day thinking, ‘okay, this is the last week.’ I was very happy. Then I noticed I got like 5 new messages from Craig. He wanted to know when I’ll be out, and if we can go to the beach after. But since they were sent at 3 in the morning, I knew he was sleeping now, but I replied for when he wakes up. Hopefully, his cell is on vibrate and not near or on his body.
“Hey, I get out at 12:30 pm, today. I have exams, and then I’m done for the day. And I would love to go to the beach with you! Can you pick me up in front of the woods?” after reading it over one last time, I hit the send button.
It was about third block, right before the bell rang to go to last period. I checked my phone which was buzzing. I used to keep it on silent until we got privileges. They are when you can eat and drink in class, leave for study hall, and use cell phones in class as long as they don’t have a ring tone. So the vibrate setting was acceptable. It was Craig, replying. He obviously just got up. He is picking me up in an hour.
I zoned out, and when I zoned back in, people were staring at me, and I was smiling. I zoned out on a little spider I saw up in the top corner I saw above the board. Then I immediately thought of the spiders in Harry Potter. I think they are scary, and I have an all around fear of spiders, so it just added to it. But I saw it and thought of the Harry Potter scene where they meet Hagrid’s large spider friend that lives in the Forbidden Forrest. Then I thought of other scenes, next thing I know, I’m watching Harry Potter in my head.
The teacher wasn’t mad, but held me after class to explain myself. Hurry up! I got a date! With of course my guy friends….. But still! Oh and Kyle, Ally, Zacky, Maddie, Aubrey, Caicey, Jabroni, and Mike. Mike and Jabroni are my other two guy friends. Mike is muscular, and protective. He has long brown hair, and glasses that magnify his already big brown eyes. He isn’t too tall, and is absolutely hilarious. Jabroni is tall. He has short blond hair that almost covers his brown eyes. His pants are always too big, and he is funny, too.
Caicey is one of my Girls, too. She has the best curves in the universe. Her hair is blond, and she had blue-green eyes. She always has my back, and she is beautiful. And now that I realize it, I have a very attractive group of people I hang around. Caicey has a boyfriend his name is Matthew. He isn’t too much taller then her, and he is muscular. He drinks a lot, too. But that’s okay I guess. Caicey and Aubrey are really good friends that love to fight.
I met Craig by the woods. I then climbed into his big black car, and kissed him on the cheek. Then I noticed there were already others in the back. Maxwell and Robert, two out of this three other band mates were there.
“Uhh, Hey.” I said awkwardly.
“Hey” “Was sup” they said.
“Nothing, just got out… whatcha doin’?” I asked.
“We just finished band practice, I am dropping them off at Maxipoo’s house” Craig said, glancing at them through the rearview mirror. We rode in silence except for the quiet roar of the station. It was playing Greenday, “When I come around”. I had to resist the urge to blast the music. Craig has a very expensive, amazing speaker system. We picked up the others and stopped at my house to change. Then we were off.
We pulled into the sandy parking lot at about 1:30 in the afternoon. We found our normal spot, at the end after about ¼ mile of rocks. Then we were at a calm spot with only an old couple. Us girls put down about three blankets and took off our shorts and tank tops. I know I was lying in the sun, while I got the chance. I finally dozed off a little.
I woke up with somebody grabbing my ankles and somebody holding onto my wrists. Uh-oh, I know where this is going. I laughed and smiled. I looked up to see Craig with a firm grip on my wrists, and Mike with a firm grasp on my ankles. They were running into the water until about up to their mid thighs. Then they tossed me in. I didn’t stand up right away; instead I swam under the water to the deeper water. I got to the drop off, and stopped to look down. I went up for air, and then swam further to the sand bar. Craig and Mike were going frantic looking to me, because I went down deep and could have hit my head. I didn’t though.
I reached the sandbar, and called their names. They gave me a look of ‘oh no, no you didn’t do that’. The next thing I see is Craig swimming towards me. He was coming fast. I stood there and looked at him. Then I remembered I still had makeup on. I quickly wiped under my eyes and dipped my hair in the water to make it look more acceptable. I had scrunched my hair that morning, so there was still gel in it, making it feel soft from getting wet.
I wasn’t paying attention, and Craig came up and wrapped his arms around my waist, scaring me half to death. “Hey Baby,” he said, and I could tell by the tone in his voice, he was trying not to laugh at me, and was obviously smiling.
“Hey, Craigafer,” I said back to him. I backed away and dove into the water. The last thing I remember is hitting something hard, and then it all went black.
