JYP Entertainment's new girl group is finally here!
On January 21 at midnight KST, JYP Entertainment released a vibrant new prologue film introducing their next girl group ITZY. The group consists of six members: Yuna, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Lia, Yeji and Yujin.
Ryujin previously appeared on JTBC's "MIXNINE" - where she emerged the female winner, under her full name Shin Ryu Jin, while Yeji recently appeared on SBS's "The Fan" under her full name Hwang Yeji. Chaeryeong appeared on Mnet's "SIXTEEN" with labelmates TWICE, as well as SBS's K-Pop Star 3." While the oldest, Yujin is a Taiwanese professional volleyball player.
JYP Entertainment confirmed earlier this month that the new girl group has already completed filming their debut music video.
