" lord alpheuse ." I said coldly.
" princess , I wish you a happy birthday" he bow down
I was disgust by him that day so I'm having a hard time respecting him
" you may raise ,what is it my lord?" I said wanting to leave as soon as possible and well....lucas might kill him if I stay too much time with him .
" I can see that you and the magician are together you're highness" he said looking at my ring .
" please be more careful with your words"
" yes your highness." he said with a sad smile then he turn to jennete .
" jennete " he looked at her seriously.
jennete seemed uncomfortable but answered
" yes my lord?" she said respectfully
" since when did I become "my lord "?"
" since I got engaged "
" jennete ,you are clearly used by duke noctem dont fall for his trap" he got close and I start glaring at him
" ....I dont think you of all people should be talking about this ijekiel" she said with a sad face.
" that's enough" I interrupt them
this discussion is not going anywhere anyway.
" let's go jennete " I said and put my arm behind her back then I said to ijekiel" please enjoy the party my lord"
we left.
" are you okay jennete?" I asked her carefully
" yes .I'm fine your highness " she said with a smile
" you are also a royal you know?" she keep calling me your highness
she chuckled " no .I have already given up that titel"
" I see.."
we arrived at where helena was .
" miss helena" I called for her
" your highness"
" jennete this is helena and miss helena this is jennete "

we start talking together .
for a first birthday party. Im quite happy .Im enjoying my time and...
...lucas said he have a gift for me I wonder what it is .
abruptly helena start coughing .
" helena are you okay ?" I asked concerned
" yes ..I-I think..." she kept coughing and blood was shown.
right after that she fainted .
" helena!!" I went to her and took her in my arms
she was clearly poisoned .
I saw lucas coming in my way.
" what happend?"
" s-she fainted ....she was poisoned " I panicked .
why would someone try to kill her in my bithday party? no more importantly will we be able to save her ??
my hand shaked and I felt lucas put his hand on mine .
he was right beside me
" calm down .I can save her and eliminate the poison .just let me see her " he took my place and inspected helena's body .
" it will take a bit of time but she is going to be alright" he said reassuring me and start using magic to heal her .
my worries was replaced by anger .
I stand up " good . concentrate on healing her and I will find whoever did this " I said coldly.
helena ate the cake that I ordered which means the poison wss for me not for her .
I'm sorry helena.
" hey! let me go ! I have nothing to do with this" a man kept yelling
" your highness." I turn to duke noctem. he was holding the mans hands behind his back and put his sword at his throat" I find him looking from afar and trying to run away the instant he saw me looking at him. he probably have something to do with this matter"
" good work" I said and looked at that man coldly.
" trying to kill me on my birthday huh? aren't you guys a bit nasty? " I kneeled down and looked at him .
I was really angry.
" I have nothing to do with this" he denied
I stare at him for a moment and stand up.
the ring in my hand became a sword " is that so? then I suppose you are of no use to me" I kicked him on the chest with my heels .
he feel on his back groaning from pain.
louic took some steps back after seeing me take care of this.
I put my heels on his chest and pointed my sword at him.
" just so you know. the person who faint right now was a friend of mine and I have no mercy to those who harm my family" I put pressure on his chest.
he screamed from pain
" I-I said I ...Dont know!! " he said difficulty.
everyone's eyes was on me .
no one dared to stop me .well who would?
" you should seriously learn that there is times when you need to give up .Im speaking by experience by the way"
even so the man stayed silent .
" I see. you give me no choice " I raise my heels from his chest and put it above ....well between his legs.
after seeing what I was going to do the man start panicking .
I'm wearing hight heels so it will make greaat pain.
" wait..what are you doing?" he said sweating a lot.
" I wont do it if you answer me who order you "
he grit his teeths but didnt say anything.
at this sight I trample on 'it'
the nobels gasp and the man screamed from the suffering.
I think I heared louic saying something to lucas but I didnt hear it .
" sir lucas ...have your fiance ever punish you like 'that'" he said sweating a bit .
lucas's face looked a bit pale at the sight .
if there is one suffrence that all man understand it is that .
" no but I think I shouldn't tease her or make her angry from now on" lucas said sweating ,his hands still healing helena.
" I'm with you man" louic comforted lucas by puting his hand on his shoulders.
even after all that pain this guy still didnt open his mouth.
why are you so loyal? I'm starting to lose patience .
should I just kill him?
" ...hum your highness.." jennete interrupt me hesitantly
I turn to her " what is it?"
" I ..think ..I can do something to make him talk ..the truth." she said a bit nervous.
I stare at her for a moment. everyone was thinking what will jennete do.
" okay then. go ahead ." I removed my feet and took some steps back to let jennete some space.
I crossed my arms and watch her movements.
" first ,lets ...put him on a ...chair we need him conscious" jennete said sweating from stress.
maybe I went too far .that man looked like a zombie .
either way he deserve it.
" put him on a chair and wash his face ." I ordered the knights who clearly come running after hearing the scream
they obeyed and the man start regaining consiousness.
" so jennete? you can do something?" I asked jennete .
"ah! yes! I will try something.." because I was till angry....without me knowing I glared at her so,she was taken back.
she approched the man who looked up at her and said" it doesnt ..matter what you do ...I...wont..say...any..thing.."
she took a deep breath and left her hands not far away from his face
she close her eyes and said something indescribable" ■■■●••■■■■■■"
at her words something dark was formed around her her hands and went slowly around the man's face.
my eyes widden a bit not knowing what was happening.
the nobels gasp and were suspicious but they didnt really know what to do.
I turn around to see if duke noctem know about it but it doesnt seem to be the cause .
I then turn to lucas.he was still healing helena ..why does he take so much time ? well anyhow .contrary to us he seem to understand what was happening.
his eyes were fixing at what was happening with a stern face.
my eyes went back to jennete the dark magic seemed to become like some sort of smoke.
the man just stare at jennete .
he looked hypnotized
jennete start talking" tell me who ordered you to put poison on her highness's cake?"
" ..I..dont...know . I didnt see his face but he was a strong magician ...he..he told me....that..that..that..if I dont do....it...I..I..will...die..." he said with great difficulty but had a blush on his face.
it felt like a part of him was trying to stop talking but the other one couldnt stop talking because of jennete.
" do you know how to find him or where he is ? " jennete asked sweating .
" no...he...come.....to...my..my..hou...se"
" why did he want to kill her highness?"
" he...didnt...the ...poison...is not ....for ..killing ...he ...just wanted....her...to fell...ill.."
but then before we can ask more question something light up inside his body.
" jennete get away from it !!!" I yelled at her .
it was something dangerous.
his body...exploded .
nothing was left except the blood that was all over jennete due to how close she was .
louic and I run to her .
" jennete are you okay?" I asked her worried
" yes...I..m...fine.." she said breathing heavely.
jennete always lived in the emraled palace .she never saw trashy things like blood or a corpse.
but now the blood of a corpse was all over her I doubt she is fine.
louic used his handkerchief to wip at least her face but somthing happend again she was bleeding from her nose and her legs felt weak.
louic catch her before she fall.
" hey what exacly happend to you .do you have any idea?" louic asked her clearly worried and so was I.
" she is fine." lucas interrupt the conversation" she is still not very used to her power so she didnt control it well. she just need to rest"
speaking of lucas..he also look a bit pale .
it's been quite long since he's trying to save helena .
was the poison that strong?
what a mess.
I need to organize all of this..
the culprit is a magician so normally the nobels present here have nothing to do with it.
after all if they wanted to poison me why asking a magician? they could've just ask a pharmacist .it's much less expensive.
I need to evacuate them first.
I planted my sword on the ground and said loudly
" due to this incidant .the party is canceled .everyone please return to your respective houses . we will investigate all of this and announce the culprit when we find him " at my words the nobels left but all of them were still wary of what happend.
when I was sure every nobels left I turn to my knights.
" how come you didnt find that man before he cause that mess?" I asked quite displeased .
how can a man watch from afar without any knight noticing him?
" we verify every place your highness I can guarantee you we didnt find anyone suspicious" theo said bowing.
" he must have used magic to hide " another knight said
it's not impossible since its a magician who order him but then how did duke noctem find him?
" go patrol around all the palace grounds and inform me of anything strange "
" yes your highness!" they obeyed and all get to work
now , its duke's noctem turn
" duke noctem ,Im sure you have some information about this .we will held a meeting later with the empror for now return back .jennete need to rest ." I said looking at jennete who looked tired litterely drained from her energie.
" yes .your highness" he bow down calmly and hold jennete in a bridal style.
he went to the carriage .
now..
" lucas." I said walking toward him and sit beside him.
" why does it take that much time?" I asked him
he sigh and said" because someone keep blocking my magic .it's really hard to heal her so, I decide to just extract the poison which take more time"
" will it take much time?"
" no Im almost finished " he said
after some time .helena start to look much better but she was still unconscious.
" here done" he said and gave me helena
the butler run to me
" your highness." he heared about what happend.
" butler .sent helena back home and gave her a letter of apologize .tell the maids to clean all this"
he looked at me with some pity and nodded.
it was supposed to be my birthday.
I sigh
" lucas can you teleport me to my room ?"
lucas nodded
in an instant we were in my room
wow magic is cool I thought without any enthusiasm.
I sat on the floor and sigh
" Im really tired" looks like jennete isnt the only one who is out of energy.
lucas sat beside on the floor and said " well, its understandable"
another strange thing
" lucas."
" what is it?"
" why are you that silent ? " I said lifting an eyebrow
" am I ?" he turn the other side
" yes you are ."
" well..its nothing"
I grap him by the collar
" my brain is already exhaust by what happend .I dont want to pass a night where I keep thinking of what is bothering you. I want to rest .so?"
" hey" he turn around and had a serious face
" what is it?" is it something important?
he looks serious.
" if I ever make you angry ...you're not going to kick me...'there' right?"

" ' there'?" I asked confused
his gaze went down and I follow it and....
" AH! you mean here??!?!? w-why would I ?!?!?" I said blushing
" Im a bit traumatized by what you did to that poor soul in the party. even thought he deserve it "
ah. because he saw that...well I went a bit berserk but...he was scared I would do the same for him?

" pff hahahahhahah!!!" I burst out laughing.
this so funny!!!
" what's so funny?!" lucas annoyed
" of course its funny!! hahaha!! you..you were scared of that! hahaha"
I laughed hard .
it feels good .
not long ago I was depressed .
that guy!!
I laughed until my stomach hurts
lucas looked at me with an annoyed face.
I didnt stop laughing then I put my arms around his neck and got close to him to the point where our chests touched
he was taken back and I felt he flinch a bit.
" is my boyfriend scared of his girlfriend? " I said with a big smile and teasing tone.
he flinch again ,probably because of the closeness
it would make me blush too but I was laughing so hard that I didnt notice.
" what kind of man wouldnt be scared of that." he said looking the other way.
" still...you are more strong than me so," I wipped a tear from laughing" even if I would try it. you can just stop me"
" I cant "
" why is that?"
he looked at me and said" I can't hurt you or stop you .its just like that."
I stopped laughing and just smiled .
my bad mood disappear .
" no matter what I do?" I asked
" ..yeah" he said calmly
" alright then .I promised I wont do it"
he sigh of relief .
end of athanasia POV
athanasia suddenly kissed lucas on the cheek..
lucas who didnt expect this widden his eyes a littel.
when athanasia separate her lips from his cheek he was going to ask " what..why?" but he didnt even have time that athanasia start kissing him again.
she kissed him on his forhead ,on both cheeks , on his nose .on his eyes and all of this repeatedly
she was literally showering lucas with kisses .
lucas start blushing because of this
" hey! s-stop a second !" he said flustered
" no. you said you would never stop me no?" she said smiling
" well..its true but..why suddenly-"
he was cut athanasia throw herself on him and he fell down on the floor beging attacked by the princess's kisses again
" its my birthday and you made me happy today so think of it as a reward and also ." she stopped a second to look at him
" whats the point of having a god like boyfriend if you cant enjoy his looks ?" she said blushing a bit but still smiling
she was very charming.
lucas was remembered of the night she was drunk .she had those looks
lucas stayed silent charmed by her beauty.
she then kissed him on the lips and close her eyes .
this time lucas closed his eyes and just return the kiss and put one hand on her cheek and the other around her waist.
after a long moment they separate .
athanasia rest her head on his chest.
" in the end ,my birthday was quite chaotic" she said with a sigh" I wanted it to be special"
" you made the friend that you wanted so much no?"
" who end up faiting because of me "
" who end up faiting because of a magician psycopath"
" a magician...do you thing it has something to do with carax's disciple " she asked
" I dont know..the spell that prevent me from healing your friend was really strong to the point when ..I.. had difficulty to break it .
there is no way someone who learned from carax would be able to cast a spell like that"
" I see. what did jennete do again ?" I asked really curious
" I told you before .the chimera's magic make people want to be close to her .it seems that she was able to somewhat control it... when she used it on that man ,the urge to be close to her was so strong that he couldnt stop himself from telling her what she wanted to know." lucas explained calmly
" this is an interesting magic" I said intrested
" to me ,its discusting . "
" well, to begin with you are not a normal person"
" what the hell you mean by that?"
" absolutely nothing!!" she said smiling innocently
" anyway you said you will held a meeting right? lets stop talking about this for now"
" sure " she didnt argue
" alright .lets go" lucas get up .
" why?where ?" she asked displeased
" your birthday is not finished yet and I have a gift for you" lucas grapped her hand and helped her stand up.
" a ..gift?"
" yes." he said smiling.
'ah he did talk about this' athanasia thought.
" lets go " he said and clicked his fingers.
athanasia found herself excitied again
all her misfortune of today vanished .
the reason she suddenly wanted to kiss lucas that much was because she realized that whenever she have a though day ,he would make it much better without him even knowing ..no actually ..she doesnt know if he did it unknowingly or not ..what is sure ...
is that he gave her courage and happiness whenever she is down .
and she wanted to be grateful of that.
suddenly the place change to another one.
a beautiful place indeed like lucas said .

I was able to write this one because I had free time these two days .

it felt good to write some lucathy again too.
it felt a bit difficult to write lucas as a boyfriend.
I mean we know how lucas is when he is in love and all but I never saw how he act as an 'official boyfriend' with athy.
so sometimes I keep thinking if the way he act in my story is logical with his character .
