As the night time came to end and it slowly became day, you felt a pain deep inside your heart like something of yours was lost. Something was wrong and off but you couldn't put your finger on till you got to the Zoldyck Mansion and watched the news while a butler was fixing you up.
"No.."
Your grandfather was dead. He died with his fight with the King who had died as well. The butler finally finishes patching you up so you start you use your nen ability, Slow Heal, to speed up this healing process more than it already will be as. A tear drops down your cheek as the butler bows to you before he makes his way out and Illumi walks in.
He doesn't say a word just sits next you and pulls you into his embrace. You finally break, sobbing into his embrace. He lays back and pulls you on top of him carefully, holding you close to him as you cried into his chest, gripping his shirt tightly with your fist. "I'm sorry I couldn't be there to save you sooner.." Illumi's voice breaks slightly, pain seeping into his voice.
Illumi broke seeing you emotionally messed up, not only from the pain the Chimera Ants caused but also your grandfather's death. You sat in his arms for a solid hour just with you off and on sobbing but finally you had fallen asleep from all the exhaustion. Illumi sat on the edge of the bed looking at you, sadness slowly spilled into his heart while anger grew. Where was Hisoka? What would he think of all this? Illumi knew he had to go find Hisoka to help him out here.

You woke up to a thump on your head," Ow- What the-" Your eyes adjust to the surrounding area and you're in an unfamiliar room. In fact looked like an infirmary with a nurse sitting at her desk. She looked up from her notes when she heard the thump and your voice before she gets up and comes over to you," Are you alright, Miss? We're experiencing some turbulence so I'm very sorry that." While she checks your head, you're left their with confusion.
"I'm sorry, I don't think I heard that right.. T-Turbulence?" She smiles sweetly at you briefly," Yes ma'am, you're on a blimp right now, your boyfriend had dropped you off here for now-" You start getting up slowly but she starts to panic a bit. You chuckle before you stretching out and cracking your back and neck.
You eye smile softly and hum quietly as she admired you for a moment," Hey it's alright, I'm gonna go find him, thank you- I never got your name.." She blushes harshly as she snaps out of her thoughts and manages to say her name. "M-M-Momo.." You chuckle slightly as you start walking out. " Thank you Momo, for everything, even though it's your job! Caio!~"
"Now just to find, Illumi.."
You walk around the large blimp finally finding the last area, a bar area. Your eyes find the back of Illumi's head, immediately making you smile and as about you're go over there, your heart drops and you stop dead in your tracks seeing who's right next to him.
"H-H-Hisoka.."
You manage to breathe out. Illumi turns around feeling your presence following in his suit, Hisoka turns around. You manage to not pass out from how hard your heart thumping while your stomach tries to run away. He's in shock seeing the state of you. Last time he saw you, you didn't have all these visible scars and bruises covering your body.
You and Hisoka lock eyes making you even more paralyzed. Illumi sighs softly before saying something to Hisoka and coming over to you. He brings you over to where they were both sitting and sits you in his chair and sits in the other chair, making you sit between the two.
You just stare out the window, not daring looking at Hisoka but he stares at your face with confusion, hurt, anger. You all sit in silence before you feel a familiar hand slowly and gently move your hair out of the way to put his hand on your cheek. Hisoka makes you look at him but when he sees the scars, bruises, your eyes that once shimmered brightly was no quite dull up close, something inside of him breaks and snaps. His hand slightly trembles with emotions on your cheek.
You close your eyes before putting your hand on his and leaning into his warm hand, his touch that you've missed so much but something felt different. The feeling was much stronger and more connected. Was this the love you felt for him? Where you finally going to accept that you loved him? Was it okay to love him and Illumi? You always kind of knew in the back of your head but it's about time that you accepted it fully.
"My angel... I-.."
You open your eyes to look at him carefully, immediately noticing his hesitant and shaky voice, never hearing him like this. You furrow your eyebrow slightly while you stare at him. "What.. What happened?" You take a deep breath before telling Hisoka and Illumi what happened after you disappeared but right after it clicks, panic runs through your body, you quickly look at Illumi.
"What happened to Gon, Killua, Kite?! What happened to them?"
"I'm not sure who Kite is but he was with Killua and Gon at the hospital. Gon is on life support-" Illumi explains calmly but your mood switches from panic to rage. "He's on what now..?"
"Life support- Y/n you know I don't like repeating myself, come on now.."
You take a deep breath, calming down the dark rage of inside of you slightly. Then you realized something. "Wait.. So that means that dream I had actually happened?" Illumi and Hisoka look at you confused. "Dream?" You hum and nod, thinking for a moment.
"I had a dream with me, unconscious on the floor, I wasn't waking up and I would never wake up again. Gon's eyes were completely dull. The rage that fuels this dark aura around me, consumed Gon.. He lost it, he didn't care. He used all his Nen, risking never using Nen again to kill the Chimera Ant that beat me senseless all those times.. He turned into a monster. He wasn't himself anymore."
Illumi makes contact with Hisoka for a moment before sighing slightly," I'll take you to him, everyone is visiting him, Killua is over there too, how does that sound?" You nod at the idea," That would be good.."

Hisoka and Illumi dropped you at the hospital Gon is in, it's filled with familiar faces. Each one, looking at you with shocked remembering who you were. Even though you seemed physically alone, Hisoka and one of Illumi's butler's were near by, watching you. Your breath hitches when you see Killua and Kite, a tear drops down your cheek as Killua finally notices you.
Anger and a protective feeling rose in Killua's eyes once again seeing your scared and bruised body better now. You push past the crowd, running towards Killua and Kite before hugging Killua tightly, he immediately hugs back tightly.
You hold each other for a couple moments before you feel someone else hug you tightly, it's Kite. You all hug for another couple more moments, sharing a couple tears before pulling away.
"How is he doing? Can I go see him?"
Killua and Kite bring into Gon's hospital room as a group of his friends walking out and some people that you have met at the Hunter Exam and while playing Greed Island. They both leave the room to join the group of people who are behind a glass window, looking into Gon's hospital room.
His completely wrapped up body still had that dark aura you have grown to hate in itself. The only thing heard was the echoing sounds of his heartbeat monitor. You stood there helpless looking at the poor boy, you wanted nothing more to help him and see his bright smile like you once saw back at the Hunter Exam that felt like ages ago but all good things come to end right? Right..?
As tear starts to drop down your cheek, you just turn around and walk out. Even though you saw him for a couple brief moments, this is not how you want to remember him goodbye if he doesn't make it. You want to remember him as a bright smiling, giggling, head-strong young man.
You walk out his hospital room and head over to the rest of the group to talk to them but as you're about to talk to them, you get a call. Sighing as everyone looks at you, you pick up the call without looking at who's calling.
"Hm? Y/n speaking."
"Ms. Y/n, it's Beans, I need you to come into the Hunter's Association for a meeting, it's urgent.."
Your eyes widen slightly from hearing Bean's voice. "Beans-? What's going on? What meeting?" It's quiet for a moment making you even more anxious as everyone waited for you to finish your call.
"Y/n.. Your grandfather wanted you to become the next chairman of the Hunter Association in the event of him passing.."
"You're lying.." You fake laugh for a moment before continuing," Please tell me this is a fucking joke, Beans.." Silence.. "Beans, I am sorry but I will not be the next chairman! I just can't! I'm not fit out for that type of thing.." You sigh annoyed now as the group looks at you in shock. You bow suddenly at group slightly in apology for leaving so suddenly.
"I am so sorry everyone but I have to go.."
You start to jog out of the hospital to head out to the Hunter Association building which isn't far from where the hospital is," Okay, I'll be there in a moment, is it okay if I bring two extra guests?"
"Of course Y/n, you know that we trust anyone you trust, the Chairman always made sure of that."
You feel two presences follow you out of the hospital before standing right behind you on either of your sides," Okay Beans, I'm on my way.." You hang up before getting in the backseat of the car that Illumi's butler drove as Hisoka and the butler get in. "Okay, I have to get to the Hunter Association building and quick please.."
You sigh as you lay your head down on Hisoka's shoulder and the butler immediately starts driving out of the hospital parking lot and towards the Hunter Association.
"What's going on, love?~"
You feel a stab at your heart as he calls you love from the sadness you felt, missing all the moments with him but you try to brush of the hesitation that woven it's way into your voice. "I don't think you would believe me if I told you.."
He chuckles quietly to himself making another stab at your weak heart. "Try me, sweetheart~" You smile tiredly as you close your eyes," Alright then.. I will~"
