But I Didn't
Today I was feeling something.
It was like sadness, engulfing,
But distant.
So today at lunchtime,
I took my lunch to the cafeteria.
And then I turned around,
And I ate my lunch
In a corner near the bathroom
Where nobody could find me.
Some girls walked by, they
Asked me what I was doing,
All alone at lunch, so
I told them I had a headache.
But I didn't.
