JENNIE POV
"Hmmmm~" I open my eyes as I inhale the scent of Lisa, I have been lying on her chest since last night. I thought she would push me away but nope! Anyways~ She smells so good~
"Hon?" I sit up and admire her face "Honey~" I poke her cheeks but she's still in a deep sleep. I decided not to disturb her and do my morning routine. Going down towards the kitchen, I greet the caretaker who was cleaning outside the house
"Let's see what we have here~" I went to the cupboard I haven't looked at last night. As I open the cupboard, I spot a small gun on the side "How come she has a gun?" I frown in confusion. I scan the unusual item in the cupboard and just continue to look through the stocks
"She's a billionaire~ Of course she needs something to protect herself. I'm overthinking" I mumble and grab some ingredients after I decided on what to cook for breakfast, pancakes. I made a mixture for the pancake and start cooking it after the pan heats up then I grab some berries and powdered sugar
"Goodmorning hon~" Feminine muscled arms were wrapped around my waist all of a sudden that made me flinch "Yah~" I giggle and turn to look at the beautiful person behind me "Goodmorning honey~" I smile as Lisa grabs my waist and presses our lips together
"It smells good~" Lisa kiss my neck and look at the pancakes fixed on the plate "I know I smell good" I roll my eyes and flip the pancake when Lisa laughs "I mean the pancakes~"
"What the?" I mumble and blush in embarrassment "I'm kidding~ You smell great hon, greater than pancakes" Lisa gives me a peck on my lips, grabbing the spatula from my hand and continue cooking the pancakes for me
"You can cook?" I frown
"What do you think of me Kim? Spoiled?" Lisa frowns "You're a billionaire who can cook, I can be like you too" She scoffs and flip the pancakes making me laugh at her cuteness. I pinch and kiss her cheeks "Please just be like that around me honey~"
"You're first one who saw this side of me, why would I let someone else see this side of me?" Lisa pinch my nose and finishes cooking the pancakes. We decorated the pancakes together then called the caretaker to eat with us
"Do you have something to wear for the event?" I ask Lisa while munching my food. Lisa stops eating and look at me confusedly "Why are you looking at me like that? Didn't you want to go at Jisoo's party?" I giggle. That's when Lisa flash her wide smile after kissing my cheeks multiple times
"Thank you hon! Don't worry about the outfit. I can contact my designer right away to grab the best clothes for us~"
- TIME SKIP: FRIDAY -
"H-hon!" Lisa screams in pain when I accidentally hit her stomach after helping her wear her clothes for tonight's event "Mianhe~ I told you not to be stubborn Lisa!" I quickly rub her back to help her calm from the pain
"I told you I- Nevermind, let's go" Lisa sighs and holds my hand. We both bid goodbye to the caretaker as he gave me my car key "I will drive" Lisa coldly utters and opens the door for me, I didn't argue anymore and enter the passenger seat.
"We will take a short cut~" Lisa buckles up my seatbelt and hers as well then we quickly drove off and when I say shot cut it is a good idea but this one is a bad idea~
LISA POV
"LISA SLOW DOWN!" Jennie screams for her life as I drive 200kph along the deserted road "LISA!" Jennie screams louder that made me chuckle "LISA PLEASE!"
"Alright~ I'm sorry hon" I quickly slow down and glance at Jennie who was giving me a death glare "We should have left earlier rather than taking a shortcut!" She shouts and slaps my arm "I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!"
"I love you~ I love you~ I love you~" I replied and continue driving with a comfortable safe speed until we reached the venue of Jisoo's party~
"H-hey~" I hold Jennie's hand and kiss it "I'm sorry for scaring you~"
"I hate you!" Jennie slaps my arms once again making me pull her in for a hug, kissing her forehead to calm her down "I love you~ Don't be scared, you know that won't let your life be in danger"
"Aish! But you made me feel like I was about to see heaven!" Jennie argues
"That's not how you see heaven~" I chuckle and give her a peck before I whisper "We don't see heaven in a car~ We see it when we're exercising on the bed honey" I look at how stunned she is which is funny
"Let's go" I got out the car and gave the key to the valet guard then opening the door for Jennie. Ignoring the media rushing to our place, I assist Jennie out of the car and gently drag her inside the venue right away where I spotted my cousin right away
"Hey lovers~" Rosie giggles and give us both a hug
"It's nice to see you Roseanne" I greeted coldly, intertwining my fingers with Jennie "So where's our place?" Jennie tightens the hold of our hands as she asks
"Jisoo will be here any minute to usher us to our table" Rosie replies with a smile "I see~' I said shortly and look around when a bunch of reporters gathered on our place. Shit!
"These bitches" I mumble and put Jennie behind me "Hon~ I'll be fine~" I heard Jennie whisper
"Ms. Lisa! Ms. Jennie! Are you both dating?!"
"Are you both engaged?"
"Ms. Roseanne are you dating Ms. Jisoo?!"
"Ms. Jennie what do you like about Ms. Lisa?" The reporters come closer and closer making me grab Rosie and put her with Jennie behind my back
"I hope all of you can respect our privacy~ Our lives aren't your business so please leave us alone" I coldly and respectfully ask them. If they won't leave us, they won't see the daylight tomorrow
"Ms. Lisa, why are you keeping you family background?"
"Lisa, can you tell us about your family?"
"Ms. Lisa~ When are you going to introduce your parents?"
"Lisa, you're a famous figure in L.A., you own one of the biggest company in the world but you're an unknown billionaire's daughter. Why keep your profile?" They keep on asking about my parents and it makes my blood boil
"Perhaps you don't have parents, Ms. Lisa?" One of them ask and I was about to throw a punch when Jennie holds and caress my arm "Why are you all trying to dig up her background?! Can't you all understand the word privacy?" Jennie puts me behind her and scold the reporters but all they did was ask us more questions
"Please give us space" I heard Rosie scolding them but they kept on pushing and pushing until the three of us fell on the ground "Hon!" I quickly stand when I saw Jennie scratched her wrist and block the reporters like a bodyguard
"Yah!" Everyone stopped and turn to the person who shouted, Jisoo~ "Why are you bothering my friends?! Didn't I instructed all of you to stay in your designated place?! Do you want me to kick you all out that will make you lose your jobs?!" Jisoo continues to scold them that made all of them scared and apologize to us as they quickly go back to their place
"I'm sorry~ Are you guys ok?" Jisoo look at us worriedly
"T-totally fine Jisoo~" I scoff and rub my arms. I turn to look at Jennie "Hon~" I whispers and caress her hand "I'm fine~ It's just a scratch" Jennie gives me a smile, caressing my cheeks that calms me down "Your wounds~"
"I'm fine~" I massage my arm and look at Jisoo coldly "Where's our table Jisoo?"
"Oh let me take you guys there~" Jisoo smiles and ushers us to our respective table
"She's here~ 2 o'clock" I heard Rosie whisper, making me turn to where she was referring too~
There I saw the woman who killed my mother~
