Both Nancy and Jamie sat in the police waiting for Jonathan. Nancy was biting her finger nails
"Calm down they'll question him and he'll be out" Jamie turned to her "your lover boy will come back"
Nancy laughed "he's not my lover boy" she refused to look Jamie in the eyes
"Sure he's not" she slouched "so how comes we are sitting in a police station when we have been told we can go, but you insisted on waiting for Jonathan" she smirked at Nancy "you're so obvious"
Nancy cracked a giggle "your an idiot Jamie"
"An idiot who can see the tension between you two"
After a while Nancy went to the bathroom as the receptionist came out and spoke to Jamie "Jamie you're being picked up In 10 minutes"
"Oh is hopper on his way" she sat up
"Uh no" the woman shook her head "by one of Hoppers friends" she picked up her note pad "Dr Brenner"
Jamies heart skipped at beat. She had to keep a straight face "okay thank you Florence" after Florence left she quickly ran out of the station.
Dustin Lucas and Mike were outside looking panicked with a girl with a shaved head on Mike's bike
Dustin screamed "Jamie get on your in danger"
"I'm not getting on the back of your bike" she yelled back. Dustin pointed to one of the police bikes "that's stealing"
"WE'LL BRING IT BACK COME ON" Mike screamed
Jamie quickly grabbed one and followed the boys.
"How the hell did you know I was in danger" she came up behind Dustin
Dustin barely turned to her "eleven" he said "she said that you're her sister and your in danger"
Jamie nodded looking at eleven who was staring at her. Jamie smiled slightly.
Hopper and Joyce came into the police station. Jonathan was sitting there and Nancy was holding an ice pack against his head "what the hell" Joyce looked at him "take the handcuffs off him now" she pointed
Officer Calvin spoke "we can't yet"
"I DON'T CARE TAKE THEM OFF" Joyce yelled as hopper came behind her
"Just take them off" he said quietly as they rushed over to Jonathan "what the hell happened kid"
Jonathan shrugged "where's Jamie" he looked around
Nancy looked at hopper "she was in the waiting room but when I came back from the bathroom she was gone"
Florence appeared "oh she left ages ago, right in a hurry that girl" she rolled her eyes "your friend said he'd pick her up what was his name" she thought for a second "Dr Brenner I think it was"
"What" Hopper turned to the lady. He felt like he was going to be sick "did she go with him"
Florence shook her head "no no she left" she looked stern "took a bike with her hop get her to bring it back"
Hopper looked back at Joyce "we need to go now !" He grabbed his keys
Nancy stood up "what why is she in trouble" Jonathan stood up as well
"Yeah if this Dr Brenner finds her" he looked around and grabbed his gun "all run to the car now".
Jamie looked to see Dr Brenner cars coming her way. There were loads of them "GO GO GO" Jamie yelled peddling as fast as she could
Two of the cars started coming there way blocking them. Eleven and Jamie looked at each other and nodded. They both stared at the cars. They both went in the air at the same time as the boys looked. They both flipped upside down blocking Dr Brenner and the others.
Dr Brenner got out of his car watching Jamie peddle away.
"HOLY SHIT" Dustin screamed at the top of his lungs "JAMIE HOW DID YOU DO THAT"
"JUST KEEP ON GOING" she replied.
They ended up at the junk yard. Jamie had to sit down, her nose was bleeding. Lucas kneeled down beside her "are you okay ?"
"Yeah fine" she wiped her nose "we won't be able to stay here for long"
Mike looked at her "so you also have powers ?"
"Me and Eleven were in the same lab together, I escaped when eleven was really young" she turned to Eleven "I'm sorry you had to be there"
Eleven kneeled next to her sister, elevens nose was still bleeding she put out her hand "sister" she mumbled
Jamie looked at elevens nose, she wiped the blood of for her "sister" she smiled pulling eleven into a hug.
Hopper ran to the car with the others following. He put his key in and began driving
"Why does this dr want Jamie" Nancy began panicking
Hopper replied "she's one of his subjects, subject 005 and she escaped when she was younger"
"Jamie was tested on ?" Jonathan frowned
"Unfortunately" he turned left "she can do things others can't, she's different from you and me"
Nancy huffed "so where do we go now ?"
Joyce turned her back "to my house there might be clues of where she is"
Nancy thought for a second "what if she's with Mike, the walki talkie".
The boys and Jamie and el sat there for a moment. Jamie heard helicopters coming closer to them
"Shit" Mike whispered he looked around "put your bikes under the bus quick" they all rushed getting their bikes and stuffing them under the bus. Mike opened the bus door as they all got in.
They all hid behind the seats and windows of the bus laying down waiting for the helicopter to go over.
About 10 minutes later mikes Walkie Talkie went off "Mike" it was Nancys voice "are you there" Mike quickly grabbed it out of his bag and handed it too Jamie "Mike we need you to answer"
"Okay this is really weird" Dustin said
Lucas tried to press a button on the walkie talkie but Mike pushed his hand away "don't answer"
"She said it was an emergency" Lucas seemed annoyed
"She could have been kidnapped, what if there forcing her to say this"
Jamie scoffed "highly doubt that Mike, I was with her like an hour ago"
"Time still could have kidnapped her in that hour Jamie" Mike turned to her "don't answer"
Hoppers voice came out of the walkie talkie "listen kid if my daughter is with you answer right now I'm here sweating buckets" he paused "we know you're all in trouble we just wanna help" hoppers voice broke "Jamie if your there answer me kid please"
Jamie looked at them all. She pressed the button "I'm here Hopper" she paused "we're all here".
They sat there and waited for Hopper to come and get them, Dustin was pacing up and down and the rest were sitting in silence
"Will you stop pacing" Mike said in annoyance
"It's been way too long" Dustin huffed "you know maybe you're right maybe this is all a trap" he said louder "and the bad men are coming to get us right now"
"Dustin why would my dad set us up" Jamie looked up at him
"I don't feel good about this" Dustin got closer to Jamie "I DON'T FEEL GOOD ABOUT THIS"
A car started to pull up to the junk yard. They all turned and looked out of the window, there were two cars pulling in unfortunately not Hoppers.
"Shit" Dustin let out. Jamie led them to the back of the bus
"Stay there" she looked back at the kids. She went to the middle and kneeled down, she created a red energy ball between her palms.
Three men were outside looking around with guns in their hands. One of the men looked under the bus and saw the bikes underneath it. He got closer to the bus and slowly went to the door and opened it.
He stepped inside and a load bang echoed the bus. Hopper strutted through, Jamie stood up
"You alright" he looked at the girl she nodded "let's go" he started going out of the bus Jamie followed. The others were left speechless
Jamie stopped "LETS GO" she yelled as they all quickly moved and followed her.
They pulled up to the Byers house and got out of the car. Joyce Jonathan and Nancy all came running out "Jamie !" Jonathan smiled running up to her and hugging her tightly "are you alright he didn't get you did he"
"Did who get me ?"
"That dr" he looked at Hopper "Jamie we know, Hopper told us everything"
Jamie sighed in relief "oh thank god" Joyce walked up to her and squeezed her
"I'm so glad your alright".
Jonathan Nancy and Joyce all sat at the couch looking at the kids describing their situation
Mike held up a piece of paper with a line in the middle "this is the upside down" he pointed underneath the line "where Will and Barbara and that monster are" he put it down
"We need a gate too get through it" Dustin said
"That's at Hawkins lab" Lucas added on
Jamie nodded "yeah in the gated off area"
Hopper sat up "it's guarded heavily" he looked at Jamie's who's face dropped
"You've seen it ?" She says up. He nodded. She carried on explaining "in there it's all goo and it looks like Hawkins but it's a broken version"
Joyce put out her hands "and how do you know all of this"
"She's been in the upside down" Jonathan sat up as well
All of the boys turned to her "you've been in there" Dustin had his mouth open
"Wait you've been in there Jamie when was I going to get told" hopper sighed
"This is not the right time" Jamie looked at everyone
"Do you think we could talk to Will to reach him in this" Joyce paused
"Upside down" eleven spoke
Joyce nodded "upside down yeah" eleven nodded.
They all sat there in the middle of the table, el was looking at the Walkie Talkie and so did Jamie. They both closed there eyes beginning to hunt for any service of Will
Eleven was the first to open her eyes "I'm sorry" she whispered at Joyce
Joyce quivered "what" she looked to Jamie "what is she talking about"
Jamie's voice broke "we can't find him" he wiped the blood off of her nose
Joyce put her hands over her mouth and Jonathan stormed out of the room
Jamie took Eleven into the bathroom to wash the blood off and to wash her face
"You're a brave kid huh" Jamie said wiping Elevens nose, eleven still didn't reply. Luckily Jamie didn't find it ignorant or rude as she was once in the same position "guess people like us can never catch a break huh"
Eleven shook her head "nope" elevens eyes filled with tears
"Hey hey" Jamie wiped her face "don't feel bad it's not your fault that we couldn't find Will" Jamie sighed "it's just the signal wasn't strong enough" Jamie looked down at the tub.
Hopper sat in front of everyone "the more power they use the more tiered they get" he looked to Jonathan "it's like their drained of battery, once Jamie tried to pick up a heavy object and fainted"
"They both flipped a van earlier so their both exhausted most likely" Lucas stated
"How do we make them better" Joyce stuttered
Mike shrugged his shoulders "we wait" he sighed "that's whatever we did with el I don't know about Jamie" he looked at hopper
Hopper agreed "you would have to wait for her energy to come back, but Jamie rarely uses her powers she hated using them after a while so it's all new to her again"
"Water" Jamie said as her and Eleven came out
They all turned to the two girls "what ?" Joyce said
"The bath" eleven replied "we can find him in the bath" she didn't look at anyone
"Not in our one it's too small" Jonathan sat up
Mike looked like a switch had just been turned "but the one in the garage here isn't" he turned to Joyce "do you still have that big pool ?"
"Yeah I think so" Joyce replied
Dustin called one of his teachers for advice on a 'science matter' and started writing down notes when the phone ended he smirked "we need salt lots of it
"How much is lots of it" hopper sat next to Jamie
Dustin looked down at his notes "1500 pounds" he looked back up
Nancy laughed "where are we going to get that much salt"
"I have an idea" hopper muttered
